First, God bless you Kid Rock for going to see Travis Tritt. I just never found myself able to be a big fan of his and I really tried. Second, how large is this venue? Does a smokeless venue mean that the stages that are set up be smoke free as well? The state I live in, marijuana is illegal but there seems to be joints a blazing at every concert. Someone will always find something to bitch about. That lady needs to lighten up. "Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns:I am thankful that thorns have roses."

I say, 'Enjoy the free drinks But the cigar smoke stinks! I will always be a fan But there's a reason for the ban' I'm so sorry KR, but that is how I feel. If it's your own house, that's another story. Do whatcha whatcha whatcha want there :) Even I smoke a cigar now and then (outside) HUGS!

And admit that it was a lapse of judgement.. why do we like the man, because he is human, makes mistakes and admits to his mistakes, and better yet, then appologizes (sp?) . bigger questions is why is this "news" and why are we talking about it on this site? I look forward to the day, when I check off the line on the bucket list, that says, have a few beers with Kid Rock, just talking about what ever. And thank him for entertaining me, and reminding me, hell, its ok to have fun! P.S. the guy I have read about, and seen in the public eye, most likely has already contacted this person and appologized... thats what makes him cool.

Hey that's not fair......I was at Kid's concert at the FEDEX in March and a lady behind me told me to put out my cigarette, but I never made the paper or got sued. Damn Kid you do get special treatment. You lit a cigar at the concert and I told my friend I'd like to see her tell Kid Rock to put it out. I think they left early not for my smoking, but my husband dancing.

Hey this story made it on TMZ website! Must be a slow news day...geez. We live in such a sue happy society, I bet Kid can't fart in public with out fear of being sued by someone claiming they were asphyxiated by it ;p Ha! Such ridiculousness if KR gets sued over this. He apologized...pay the public smoking fine if there's one being brought against him & move on....

I am sure he was not the only one smoking. Has this man never been to a concert before? Come on he is only human and we all make mistakes. If he was Joe Average... this guy would'nt be filing charges or whatever he is doing. He just wants his 15 minutes of fame and a qwick buck. I was at that show friday night, sat about 10 ft from Kid Rock and yes he was smoking a cigar and yes he was drinking. However the staffwere not and they let it happen They had to have seen it as they were bringing him drinks all along. They are to blame. We bought our tickets from them not Kid Rock. I would say to them give the older man a apology and free dinner and tickets to a new show. Regis Phebin is coming soon He may like to see him. To Kid Rock If I were his mom I would slap him upside his head and say " you dumb ass what the hell were you thinking" P.S. Travis Tritt was amazing and Kid is very sexy...........
