Now, having said that...My Dad smokes stogeys and I have fought with him more than once on smoking in my car. Don't you know, I won! My Mom used to make him smoke outside but since she has passed he smokes where ever he likes. He too, thinks he's special. lmao!

Everybody makes mistakes! So he lit up a cigar, I feel he's done so much good, raising money for the less fortunate. The HATTERS need to worry about the REAL problems of the world, not about him smoking!!!!!

I think Mr. Snell is the cowboy I mentioned in an email to a radio station: I listened to your Kid Rock story this morning and have to comment. I was there, sitting at the very next table. Yes, he did smoke a cigar. It wasn't that obvious to me and I have allergies. More importantly, he was so pleasant and accommodating to everyone that approached him, and there were many (it was quite distracting from my view). He is a very nice man! The only bad behavior I saw was some "redneck" cowboy that went up to KR looking for a fight (because of the cigar?). KR listened to him, but stayed in his chair. After the show, KR went up to the cowboy & spoke & they had a hug. All was well. I have to agree with Kid's publicist- someone is looking to make a quick buck off a celebrity. So sad he can't go out & have a good time without crap like this!! Let's do a shot!!

I was at Kenny Chesney's August concert at Ford Field and the guy next to me urinated into his beer cup and then spilled the contents all over the floor. Makes smelling cigar smoke a walk through the tulips.

Dang, wish I was there!! I think it's just a way for some to bitch & get free $$$$$$ outa you. Maybe you shouldn't have but you did & you did apologize. Did any of the staff come up & ask you to put it out? I wouldn't think so, not only because of who you are but think of all the drinks that they were selling that night!!! Hope you had a good time anyway. See ya on the cruise & if the smoke gets to me I can always move to another seat!!!!

According to what I read in this article, nobody ASKED KR to put out his cigar. Seems a little odd to keep quiet throughout the "offense", then make a bunch of "noise" by calling the owner of Andiamo, the news paper, and most likely a lawyer. I think the real story here is the actions of the haters. I'm guessing that the cigar would have been put out, and put away if just one person would have had the decency to ask nicely. If some other random person lit up a cigar, I'm certain that the other concert goers would have made certain that the cigar was extinguished. If it were some other random person that lit up a cigar, it would not have raised such a stink in the news.

Friday the 13th -- an unlucky January day for a certain Trenton twit, Who couldn't, more like wouldn't, enjoy the 1,000 seat Warren concert of Travis Tritt's. Because a certain local rocker was havin' fun consuming all those free drinks, And proceeded to light his cigar but, low and behold, it caused a big stink! Mr. Snell didn't like the smell and plans on filing a complaint, To him, the Rock n Roll Jesus is no Groucho Marx and he certainly ain't no Saint! No smoking in bars, restaurant or public venues is now the law in the Mitten State, That was even the case at Kid's 60,000 seat birthday bash, last year around this date. That one show brought a lot of money to metro Detroit -- wasn't that great?! But, it doesn't really matter to all Kid's haters, they're all just a bunch of whining ingrates. Nurse Ratched doesn't care about Kid's donations or his latest apology, And it's not about special treatment, asthma or even a simple mistake you see ~ It's all about dollars signs and lawyering up to make Kid Rock pay for lightin' up that stogey, But, time to get a life, or earn money the old fashion way Randy -- you old fuckin' fogey!! ; }~

*Or are you also the kind of people who sit at a concert and complain about the people in front of you who stand and dance around and have a good time. ______________________________________________________________________________ Thinking back now..................:( Some things you just got to let go because at a concert, show, whatever, people do their own things and are there for their own reasons and express themselves differently, it should be expected at concerts/shows. p.s. not going for the win on this post just brought back up an old wound from a previous concert my son and I went to on Memorial Day weekend a few years back to see Molly Hatchet and Lynyrd Skynyrd and we were standing for Molly Hatchet paying respect for our troops and how hurt my son got and disillusioned but still tried to believe in the best of people after that and never stopped believing and or did I!
