    Merry Christmas

I am but one of the many, lucky enough to have been BORN FREE.  Not by choice, but by the grace of God. I often have counted my blessings on my many journeys, and thought about those who were not born so lucky.  As I approach a new chapter in my life, more reflective, more aware of my surroundings and the struggles of people close and far, I realize I could better serve those in need if I could only SLOW MY ROLL and take some time to think about the things that are truly important in life.  I can’t stop the suffering in this world, but I can try to be proactive, do what I can when opportunity arises to help, or at least just CARE.  Sometimes the silence of a PURPLE SKY is so deafening it shuts out everything.  It’s been said WHEN IT RAINS, it pours, like the loss of a job on Monday, mounting debt on Wednesday, family problems Friday.  Sometimes all we can do is find an outlet in friends, family, music, parties, alcohol, and cut loose and scream, “GOD BLESS SATURDAY!”  Why can’t we just get along? You’re not that far left, I’m not that far right, must we constantly COLLIDE? I’m sure if we sat down and talked about things we wouldn’t end up that far apart, but rather a comfortable distance where we all can be happy and pursue our dreams without all the extremism that exists these days.  My hometown sure was FLYIN HIGH during the industrial revolution, we put the world on wheels, made ‘em sing and dance to our sound. The riots, white flight, mistreatment of workers, corporate greed, unions taking advantage, corruption, and education failures took their toll.  But a new day has dawned. My hometown has heart, style and knows how to pick themselves up and dust themselves off when we’ve been kicked down.  We understand it’s not only about where we’ve been, but also, more importantly, that it makes us who we are in TIMES LIKE THESE.  Always be proud of who you are, where you come from and never forget your roots. I love life as much as I love all of you. God bless you and ROCK ON.

PS.  Thank you to my family, friends and fans.  I hope you have enjoyed this collection of ROCK BOTTOM BLUES, country, hip hop and soul. I enjoyed writing and recording it with the help of some friends and great musicians. I can honestly say I feel like I am in a great place musically and personally FOR THE FIRST TIME in a long time. I hope y’all are too.  Be cool and Merry Christmas.

This is for Robert James Ritchie, Kid Rock, and the Twisted Brown Trucker Band. This has been a year of ups and downs for me, but I'm sure that it's been the same way for a bunch of us living in the greatest country in the world! But I saw every show you performed in georgia this year! I saw yall at gwinnett arena in march, lakewood amphitheatre in august, and center stage theatre in november, and those three shows made all of my problems disappear. I won't be on the cruise this year, but i will damn sure be at your show the next time you stop by georgia. Thank You For Your Music, You are the greatest concert performer I've ever seen. And I hope one day you and I will drink some badass beer and some budweiser, along with some jim beam in the near future. Merry Christmas to the twisted brown trucker band, God Bless Yall! and Kid Rock, Merry Christmas to you, Jr., your parents, and the rest of your family, friends, and fans! I wish you the best and may God continue bless you, your family, and the USA! I'm lookin foward to your next album and tour! PS: Born Free was the greatest ALBUM PERIOD of 2010-2011! Every Track was phenominal, and These are my top 7 1 Purple Sky 2 Born Free 3 God Bless Saturday 4 Care 5 Slow My Roll 6 When It Rains 7 For The First Time in a Long Time And Rock N Roll Jesus Live and Low Life Live were excellent bonus tracks C Ya soon, Keep the music coming, there is no one better, you'll forever be the kid rock, FOREVER!

Can't wait to see what you have in store for the coming year I am sure it will be great!! -LIZ I wonder if you sit and read all your posts.......

Is it safe to say that I've been sober since I was 21? No, I was just a weekend warrior back then....Now how does a girl slow her roll when she doesn't drink, smoke or do drugs? Or should I even care at this point? I'm suffering from Occupational Hazzards....I was exposed to alot of chemicals in my day.....The kind they mix to make Atomic Bombs with....no joke, or any kind of excuse. Go try to talk to your local body shop guy who paints cars all day long....you'll see. Kid Rock shouldn't need anything else but LOVE mixed in with his Jack or Jim, or Jim or Jack...or Jack and Jill....

Is it me or is Nickleback Kid Rocks nemisus? It's like they come out with songs after Kid Rock writes a song about the same subject, only they get all of the air play....What's up with that? I started noticing it with Amen. They never played Kid Rocks Amen on the radio, not where I live anyway, but they sure as hell played Nicklebacks. I've never liked that, and as a group, their allright...I liked their song I Want to be a Rock Star, but it all just seems a little too coincidental when the songs seem to be about the same subject and at he same time only Kid Rocks is first...Copycats? Possibly. Any comments?

No I really mean just one, just the one priest is all I want...Ha,,ha,ha! Maybe I'll turn into Sr. Mary Sunshine some day and see where it takes me! My friend Amy would be so proud of me...it's a long story and it would be all her fault!

Whats crackin Bob..Merry Christmas. I still think you should try another rap album who cares what Marshall thinks =0P Or try a few songs of the like...Why not you had status back then you just werent known Cuz I'm a super rhyme maker...But then your spreading yourself thin blah blah what about recording some tracks and dont release anything till its just right? Maybe to you its been done already.... yet...It was pretty sweet. But I like the old school anyhow...Good luck!

Hey Cathy, I've got 70 and 80 yr. old women that are in love with me too.....What's wrong with this picture? Me and Kid got alot in common. If I was gay I have it made, even these young girls seem to like me. It's so weird when all I want is a man and the only good ones that I like are some of my priests...and I mean only SOME of them!
