    Don't miss Kid Rock perform a special version of "Care" live on the 5th Annual 'CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute' this Sunday! The event takes place at the 'Shrine Auditorium' in Los Angeles, CA and will broadcast at 8 p.m. ET on 'CNN.' The star-studded gala will be hosted by Anderson Cooper.

    The telecast shines a spotlight on the extraordinary accomplishments of the top 10 'CNN Heroes,' who will each receive $50,000 in recognition of their work. The show culminates with the announcement of the 'CNN Hero of the Year,' one of the top 10 who will receive an additional $250,000.

Took a long time to go thru the posts to find where I was able to get the site to load and read/write anything,..... I miss alot because of it, whatever the reason? I see that the post by Chrissy55 regarding the Military, her Husband and Children being her Heroes was posted on this post too :) Thats awesome, Thanks to All who serve and their Families, You for what you do Bob and for sharing her story and for Honoring the Nominees, on the CNN show, It's an Awesome/Heartwrenching/Inspiring program, that has to open more eyes so they can see, even the smallest thing to them could mean a world of difference to another !! i'm not going to post from here up to current date (Feb. 5th) but I'll ( Facebk. *like) the rest, so I can keep track of how long I can post again. (If it's another 2 mths. well it will be close to Cruise time anyway ;) Hope all is going well for Jr. at school, and You are having an awesome New Year n' that your 41st yr. will be as Wonderful as you are to me , Love You Much, Always !!!!!!!

Same here.. this was the first time we watched this show.. thanks to Kid Rock performing : ) I truly loved all the amazing stories. Talk about trying to hold back the tears all night, and what an eye opener. I also liked how George Lopez mentioned that you don't have to be creative like the ppl they were celebrating, or have a ton of money to help. All it takes it's getting out in your community and volunteering, or donating a few can goods. GREAT performance !! We love yous cats !!

That was the 1st time I ever watched that show before....Wow, incredible stories! I only got to see the 1st hr. had to tuck the kids in to bed, some of the stories made me teary eyed. The story about the 9yr. little girl who was trying to raise $300 for clean water in poor countries & wound up dying in a car accident, well I just lost it...ugh, heart wrenching. The "Care" song fit perfectly with the theme of evening, nice job =)

Tears falling with every story. I feel so blessed to have what I have...my beautiful children, my loving husband, my home, food and my health. Five minutes into the show my husband said we need to do more...and we will.

You are AWESOME and I love you , your music, your personality and I really love that you do trueley "CARE"!!! You have a good heart and I have seen you in concert but that was like torture for me cause I would give anything to be able to meet you and talk to you in person. You are my hero and I have you on my background pic on my computer and have had for 7 years (not the same pic..I change it up when i see a new pic I like) and anyhow I know you think of me as just a fan but I see you as someone that is so much more than just a rockstar. I wish there was someway I could win a chance to meet you or that you would read this and want to meet me. I know you probably won't but a girl can dream right?

When I hear the word "Heroes" I think of our men and women serving in the military. My husband is currently active duty military (Navy) and is in Iraq right now. My "Hero" is my husband for his service and dedication to his country. I haven't seen my husband since June 2011, he is currently serving a 6 month deployment in Iraq. He will be home for Christmas, just don't know when the exact date is yet. My other "Hero" are my two kids, Ben (12) and Emma (10). I know this is not an easy life and they haven't seen their dad in 6 months, but their courage and strength are incredible. I love my family very much and can't imagine life without them. I know Kid Rock is a huge support for the military and this does not go unnoticed. Thank you for your support for our men and women in uniform. Just one more thing...... if you would like to send an injured soldier a Holiday card, please see below. I have been spreading the word about the "Holiday Mail for Heroes" program and hope that we can send as many injured soldiers Holiday cards as we can. Got the DVR set, taking the folks out to look at Christmas lights tomorrow night so will watch it when I get home. We were watching Sons of Guns today and on a shelf in the background was a bottle of Badass Beer, very cool, I loved it!!!!!! Merry Christmas Bobby :)

Two nights of great TV in a row. I am so pumped for Triple D on Monday night. I love that show and it will be even better with the Kid on it. I love the commercials for it. I am sitting here in my nice warm house on a cold winters day with my Kid Rock CD's all shuffled up in the stereo at full tilt and getting ready for the company Christmas party. I love Mr. Ritchie and all he stands for. He is a beautiful human being and there should be more people that follow in his footsteps. Merry Christmas fellow Kid fans and you too Bobby if you read these. Have a happy and safe holiday season and happy healthy New Year. I hope to see you in concert somewhere this summer!!!!!
