    He and anyone else who wants to use my song do not need my permission. I said he could use it and I would say the same for any other candidate. I have to have a little faith that every candidate feels like he or she can help this country. Without faith, we got nothing. I make music to have it be heard. Merry Christmas folks! Rock on.

On the way home from dropping my kids off at school this morning I was listening to "Cocky" now that would be a good theme song for someones campaign...they'd get my vote! Ha!

Please revoke your permission to allow Mitt Romney to use your song "Born Free". Mitt Romney's 2008 campaign co-chairs are two of the most notorious frauds and child-torturers of the last quarter century. Namely, Robert Lichfield (WWASPS Founder, see www.heal-online.org/turley.pdf for the current lawsuit) and Mel Sembler (Straight, Inc. Founder, Straight was shut down in the early 90s after being exposed for the torture and rape of children in his programs.) Beyond this, Romney's main campaign financiers is Bain Capital, which he co-founded. And, Bain Capital owns the notoriously fraudulent and abusive Aspen Education Group chain of programs. Please revoke your permission and be a voice against fraud and child abuse. Thank you.

Eveyone has the right to their opinion, and even though I personally do not agree withyours you do have a right to it. After all that is why so many brave men and women were killed for our country. Dec 7th anyone ? Let's not turn this site into a forum on attacks against Rep or Dems , if you do not like who is in office use your right to vote to change it.

Not a sound way for a conglomerate to "operate" that's for sure!! Far from a "Tight Ship"!! It wasn't a politician running that company into the ground now was it?!! +/– $500 million? WOW!!

Marybeth, Romney wanted the automakers to use the courts and go through the bankruptcy process. Bankruptcy does not necessarily mean liquidate and go out of business. It also provides for a process of re-structuring and eliminating obligations that a company can no longer afford. That's the process he advocated for. As you'll recall, it is also the process that the companies eventually went though. What Romney oppossed was for the US Government to hand the carmakers checks to keep them in business which is what Obama was doing for a while. That wasn't in the best interest of the carmakers or the taxpayers. Glad Romney is using Kid Rock's song. It's a great anthem for America and any campaign.

I have only a few things 2 say 2 our friend DDUCK,welL a few OTHERS 2...lol U know u should get off ur high horse and read a little closer..becuz KID made a little statement about using a song 4 A campaign and some1 has made a comment about it and then another comment follows & then another,then another and the next thing we know things r out of hand and ppl have everything all screwed up.I 4 one did not see any where in this statement saying he was 4 any1..NOW DID U???? OR DID ANY 1 THAT MATTER????? NOOOOOO ...TY See this is the problem,we have ppl that like 2 run with things and cause negative things 2 happen and negative thoughts about others before they think or say things...this statement had nothing 2 do with being a democrate or republican..it had everything 2 do with giving permission 4 any1 and every1 permission 2 use his songs if they wish in any way they need 2...now get ur story straight before running ur gums anymore..and that goes 4 alot of others as well...Y does ppl have 2 b ugly/negative about everything??? 1) Kick "LAALS36 SAYS" out of the KRC. She/He is really pissing me off! 2) Don't let Herman Cain use any of your songs. The man is a true idiot. He compared buying Natural Gas from different marketers (you know the gas is always the same...it's not like they come out and change your pipes into your home) to buying either Coke or Pepsi. I understand Kid, but I just hate to think of Romney using your song! Let's not forget that he did NOT support the Motor City or the Big 3 when it came to the bail out money!! Kid Rock stands up for Detroit, YOU are one of the biggest supporters of the Motor City and I think Mitt is just using this song to try to "bribe" Kid Rock''s fans and Detroit to forget that he didn't support us when we needed it the most! If the Motor Companies did not get the bailout money, where would we be now? Whether or not you work for one of the automobile companies, you would have been effected as it would have trickled down from the BIG 3 to everyone in the Motor City and throughout Michigan! Kid Rock, you have a heart of gold, you are a kind and generous man but let's not forget who Romney is and lets not forget he did not support the BIG 3, and we should not support him! I still do and always will love you, Kid Rock!

Bobby, you scared me for a moment until I read your post. It is true we must have faith, because faith will give you what you need. And I would love to have one of the candidates use "So Hott" I would vote for them too !!! And also, liked Brenda's post about Christmas songs, the happy ones, you could add your own spin to them, I would buy the CD ~ well I would buy any CD you put out and have. Here's hoping 2012 finds you and your extended family a joyous Christmas & Happy New Year. I guess you will be on your best "Dad" cause Jr. will be coming home for the holidays, at least I hope so.
