    He and anyone else who wants to use my song do not need my permission. I said he could use it and I would say the same for any other candidate. I have to have a little faith that every candidate feels like he or she can help this country. Without faith, we got nothing. I make music to have it be heard. Merry Christmas folks! Rock on.

wow.. this is the same Mitt Romney that wanted to not help the automakers and save Michigan jobs? I am disappointed that he would be allowed to use any of Kid Rock's music with his anti worker and Michigan stance

It seems that many of you are completely missing the point... What part of " I would say the same for any other candidate" is causing such confusion? I see a man who is very generous with his music, a rare quality in today's music business...Many of you obviously see this as an endorsement for Romney where no such implication was made. Let the man be generous and vote for who-the-Hell-ever you want. ;)

It's your music, use it any way you want to.. I listen to your music because I love your music, not because of your political views.. It was the same way with the Dixie Chicks and the Toby Keith feud. I didn't stop listening to their music because of their political views. Thank God, in this country, we have the right to express our opinions. Glad you keep it real! But just for the record, I tend to agree with you politically as well. You and Hank!

Born Free is a great song but Romney should go with Times Like These...that song gives me chills every time. Good for Kid Rock for allowing his music to be used. And good for Romney for having such good taste in music.

Well said!!!! Everyone is intitled to their opinion. I vote not for a party but for the person I feel can help this country continue to grow. I was not sure about Romy, but I am now taking a second look since he has such good taste in music . Happy Holidays to all. PS I would vote for any candidate who chooses Cocky for a theme.

I for one totally do not let politics get in between who or what I love. I love Bob Ritchie and I love Kid Rock. I am 65 years old and I have told everyone I know that I want Born Free played at my funeral...Played loud and clear for everyone to hear. I have strong beliefs and I truly believe that I was born free and hopefully no matter who is elected they will safeguard our freedom above everything. You Rock Kid...Always have and always will....Rock on......
