    Clarkston is ready for its close-up, thanks to Kid Rock and the Food Network's Guy Fieri.

    Fieri's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" will feature Union Woodshop, the 2011 Detroit Free Press Restaurant of the Year and one of Rock's favorite local spots, on an upcoming episode.

    The two were in Clarkston to shoot the Food Network segment in August, and they also visited Clarkston Union and the Michigan Brewery in Webberville, where Rock's American Badass Beer is made.

    The episode is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. Dec. 12 on the Food Network.

I was just there today, the Mac n Cheese w/Ham is the BEST! Couple months ago, had dinner at The Woodshop, Pulled Pork, & Fried Pickles are GREAT!

Loved Clarkston and made a few really good friends there! Also The Union was superb in every way! :) I too just loved the little park with the gazebo and putting my feet in the stream with all the ducklings and ducks and just kicking back and enjoying, the town was just very lovely! :)

thats cool he was on thear for the mc and cheese deal i would eat the hjell out that mc and cheese and drink some badass beer.my girl friend has drank it a bunch and her dad loves it man i am going to figure a way to get me some down in this southern area 4 sure .that going to be a show i watch yep love all his interveiws he eather getting it dunn for charity or he being funny or bouth and i hope i get my ticket to tenni concert got to do that on monday if old jimmy helps me on the pc to get the tickets bought i ant the sharpest on pc lol ant he just badass cool

I was there on the day they filmed it. He is cuter in person and I am glad I got the chance to get a few pictures of him, and his car. Can't wait till it airs....Thanks for the update!
