KID ROCK ANNOUNCES TOUR UNLIKE ANY OTHER, EVER.

    October 10, 2011

Kid Rock today announced a tour unlike anything ever done before. Kid Rock has assembled a team of Detroit titans to show support for other cities in need, and to show that Detroit, while experiencing it's own difficulties still has the power to unite to help others around the country. Kid Rock, in association with this powerhouse group of local Detroit business people, will donate money to local charities, causes and individuals via the Kid Rock Foundation, all along every stop of his underplay club tour. Radio station partners in each tour market will help determine those individuals and organizations in need. The tour will feature stops at Nashville's famed Ryman Theater and New York's Beacon Theater to name a few, a big change from Kid Rock's Born Free Tour, which saw him playing the country's biggest stadiums, arenas and amphitheaters. Some of the Detroit businesses and individuals to contribute include: Compuware Corporation, The Suburban Collection, Quicken Loans Inc., Fathead, The Detroit Pistons, Danialle and Peter Karmanos, Jr., Holly and Tom Gores, Catherine and Nathan Forbes, Gretchen and Ethan Davidson.

Kid Rock came up with the idea for this tour to coincide with the launch of his new single "Care," from his critically acclaimed platinum-selling 2010 album "Born Free." Says Kid Rock, "The song says 'the least that I can do is Care' - and I want to put my money where my mouth is. Everyone knows that Detroit is hurting. But I want to show that even though we don't have a lot on our own plate, it doesn't mean the people of my hometown don't have compassion to share with others all over the country. At the end of the day we're all Detroit, we're one country, one family".

The full itinerary and on sale information can be found below. Kid Rock will be backed by the one-of-a-kind Twisted Brown Trucker Band, his constant companions for many years on the road. Ty Stone will be support on all dates. Tickets for the tour will go on sale at 10 am on Saturday the 15th of October. Presale tickets are available to the Kid Rock Congregation.

I am writing a manuscript entitled ON BEING HOMELESS - MY WORD, the proceeds of which I plan to use to start a foundation, under the name HELP THE HOMELESS, which I already list as my "company" name on all correspondence. How can I get the help I need to ensure that this happens? In a world of disposable cellphones, computers and just about everything else, LETS NOT PERPETUATE DISPOSABLE PEOPLE!!! Help me HELP THE HOMELESS.. FOR GODS SAKE, AND THEIRS

I was at the show last night @ Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, got there early and was the 23rd person in line. My fiancee and I stood in line for 3 hours so we could get in first so we could be stageside. It was hands down the finest night of my life. I have never been to a show i enjoyed more than that one, the small venue allowed me to be able to shake Kids hand. I have sat here and typed and retyped trying to put into words what that concert meant to me.... im at a loss. What a Rock Star !!!!!! I can't wait to see him again, maybe one day i can dare to dream of meeting him in person. My fiancee and I love how not only is he a Rock Star but he actually cares about people and it shows in his words and his actions. Thank You Kid Rock

KRC fans I read that a bunch of you don't know how to get presale tickets. I shouldn't even tell you after all the crap you wrote. And as I think about it figure it out yourself. KR is to good of a man to have so called fans write crap about him Go see someone else. I am a true fan. I love you Robert James Ritchie. I am a Michigander woman

There are plenty of clubs in the Sacramento area for you to continue your charity shows. I am unemployed and have plenty of time to help out if you were to come to the area. just let me know thru my email or on Facebook

I think your "CARE" tour is fantastic. I have been to two of your concerts this year. I will be at your concert in Indy in November. I love what you are doing to help the less fortunate. You have the power to make it work and I know it will be a great success. Your concerts are the best I have ever been to. Thanks for being such a great person and performer.

Ok so I got this plan. Unfortunatly I was out of town and enjoying my sons graduation from the Marines when the tickets for Denver went on sale. I absolutley love you and have followed you for many years. I have gone to all your concerts you ever had in Colorado and this year you didn't have us on your tour so I wasn't paying attention! I am now though. Ok so here's the plan, I see that your playing in Denver on 12/1 and Magna UT on 12/3 well Denver is already sold out and UT I can't seem to get tickets too so I'm thinking since GRAND JUNCTION, CO is between the two you could stop and play here on the 2nd. Five hours from Denver to Grand Junction and then five hours from GJ to Magna, UT. What do you say? Seems like a pretty good plan right? We love you here and would welcome you with good hard working american made love and even some "Olathe Sweet" Corn Feed Midwestern Hoes'. LOL...........Come on think about it! It wont be "Rock Jam" but we would appreciate the love.

Is there anyway to still get 1 ticket for the GA Floor for your concert in Kc on Nov. 29th? My daughter & Son bought my ticket for my Bday on Nov 25th & she couldnt afford to get hers till tomorrow and now there are no more floor tickets available. :( Her & I went to your concert in KC Feb 25th together. She is so sad we cant go together in Nov as I am. We both love the fact that although she is the daugher & I am the Mom, we both absolutely love you!!!!!! Help help please???????

LadyGoBlue, I'm holding out for the D.....he said it publicly, in his home town. He and his PR people all know they'd have a KRC uprising in the D if they didn't follow through. What's that saying, something about dogs not peeing where they sleep lol? Anyway, hoping it holds true 'cause from the sounds everyone's comments here, I'm guessing I'm too late for Buffalo at this point.

Dearest Bob Ritchie... It's one thing to come to town and throw down for us crazy 'can't get enough' fans.. but it's another thing to lay it on down with your heart all because you care. Your passion for wanting to give to Detroit, as well as, other towns that are in need are felt thru a lot of your fans. And, mark my words, you will see your diehard - loyal fans step-up and help you get to that 1 million dollar mark, because we care, too. Have a blessed day !!
Lora Fickert Rock-Stone -Biggest Fan EVER...dont doubt me's picture

I can't wait. Please God let me get tickets today. I need this right now. Something to look forward to, as other things are shit in my life. Small town MN wants to rock and roll with Kid Rock soon.

Lisa, thanks for the note. I am glad to hear there is someone out there like me that truly believes that when he said he would end with a deal in Detroit it means just that! I am holding out for Detroit. I am sure he will not disappoint his MI fans .... In fact, I wouldn't be really surprised to see a couple dates in the D. :) Keep the Faith Lisa!! I love him too...

Thanks for adding Spokane to your tour schedule!! Can't wait to see you again and bring along a few of my friends! How about those undefeated Lions!!

FYI NEWBIES! YOU CANT SEE A LINK TO BUYING TIX CUZ IT ISNT UP AND VIEWABLE UNTIL THE EXACT TIME OF THE PRESALE!! IN THE MORNING, GO TO THE TICKET LINK & REFRESH UNTIL THE TIX INFO POPS UP! CHILL DUDES & DUDETTES!!! LADYGOBLUE, I'm waiting for the D, too. Hoping to take my mom. Kid wouldnt DARE end without having a date in the D. If he says it will be around Christmas, then I believe him. Most of the sponsors (if not all) are in the D, too. I also freaked yesterday not seeing us with a date, but have calmed down now. Now...I just hope that with "only" 1500 tix reserved for us that we will all actually GET tix. I would really like to see (someday) some front row or premium seats at a reasonable price. I adore Kid, & DREAM of front row (and backstage) but cant afford $300/each for those seats. It sucks...but I think he will do something about that someday. Im too huge a fan to never sit close or meet him...it will happen before I die if I have to re-mortgage the house! The cruise, too. Im so jealous -but cant afford it. Kid will think of us one day & give us all front row tix/backstage passes. He loves us too much not to. With the tix I can afford, short little 5'2" me always gets stuck behind a tall guy.

Geeze people!!! he just announced the dates YESTERDAY! If you've been with the KRC any amount of time you KNOW that pre-sale is 2-3 days before they go on sale to the public and there has NEVER been an issue with not getting the info via email when its going to happen -- and we did get that email today! And for those of you who signed up just so you could tickets easier- thats sad! The KRC IS A FAN CLUB and I really hope your intentions on signing up had somethng to do with you being a FAN, & not just so you could get tickets to turn around and sell them for a profit. Its people like YOU the KRC protects us fom with the will-call/photo id/qty limits. In other words - For those who complain about the will-call policy -- CAN IT! ITS FOR THE BEST, and ENSURES THE FANS GET THEIR TICKETS!!! People have bought up tons of tix in the past then sold them for upwards of $300 each. Those on the receiving end of that deal were screwed. Kid wants us to be able to see the show at a decent price! The venues on this tour only have up to about 3000 seats and Kid is giving us HALF OF THOSE! If you ever couldnt get tickets and bought them from a person for that much, you should be GRATEFFUL that the KRC has these rules. SORRY, but all I see on the board today is pages & pages of complaints that you didnt get presale info the very second the dates were announced & the newbies wanting their membership $ back cuz youre too impatient! If thats the ONLY6 reason you joined, then go ahead and pull out & let the REAL FANS have the tickets, cuz you were probably just going to sell them for a profit anyway. IF any of you think its so easy to coordinate a pre-sale the second the date is announced, post the info for the fans plus keep up the fan site then have at it! I bet you cant get it all done overnight - but KRC Did! Newbies, follow the email link when the pre-sale starts. You wont see any link to buy tix until 10am. THANK YOU KID!!! WE LOVE YOU!
