Hello Kid Rock,
Just a girl from Tucson, Az. I first heard some of your music years ago and thought to myself "hey I like that voice"~ was able to get your "Rock n Roll Jesus" and I am so hooked somebody reel me in!! I am crazy about "Born Free" too and wish I could attend a live concert. Life has not always been easy; but I have found a bit of joy in your music, it has done more for me than you could ever imagine.. I so look forward to another CD and wish you the best in everything you do. I am proud of the way you have participated in the some of the truly good things that matter. Stay you.
63 year old dirt farmer from Auburn IN/StMarys River EUP,grew up with Brit Invasionwest coast surf/car stuff (actually saw the Beatles in 64 at IN State Fair, drifted to heavier rock, hair and by mid 90's went back to classic rock and 60's stuff. Liked a handfull of your songs,Cowboy, Only God,AmericanBA(days of the Undertaker riding to the ring) but saw the TV performance of Born Free and was impressed.Said something to my 26 year old daughter about her avoiding the crowds at WalMart on the release day.Well guess what I got for Christmas(besides the Harley stuff). Let it lay around for a couple days, then happened to be working on some bookkeeping on the computer so I popped it into the Bose(,pulled out Jagged Little Pill) Got into the second song and stopped the bookwork and got out the cover booklet to follow the words, noting Words;R.Ritchie,by the end I was BLOWN AWAY!!!! Not a bad song in the bunch, like someone else posted when I turn it on it Plays at least twice and some songs more than that. Always a Heartland Rock fan,CougarMellencamp/Seger,never a country fan at all.Last CD I got was Face The Promise and to my surprise they is Bob playing piano! You did a great job on this one,is it a new leaf for KidRock, only 2 bleeps and I don't know how many Gods. Has the realization of country/family/community/real true friends/and a higher power lit the light bulb for you? cause that IS where it's at!! Appreciate your trips to the troops and what you're doing for the less fortunate keep it up, it has its rewards.Good luck on the 40 tour and may God Bless you, your family, your organization, and Uncle Ted! TAKE CARE AND ROCK ON!!!
