The playoff games were a chance for this area to stand up, be proud, and just unite us all. Now, we will continue to turn our attention on the Lions.

These peeps that signed up at the last minute after presale started and now are clogging this board up w/ code requests. Hello McFly the presale is probably sold out already and the webcrew probably have bigger fish to fry. Anyway they're driving me nuts.

It's gonna be a total sports day in Michigan. A great rivalry at noon, followed by the Tigers at 8. Good Luck KRLO (and Kid since you both are Spartans) but....GO BLUE!!!! and of course, GO TIGERS!!!!

Thanks RSMS. Thought maybe they had some significance like pink for breast cancer awareness.

I remember watching my kids sing with the Golliards. It always made me feel good and teary at the same time. These are the times that make everything worth while. Enjoy, proud mama!

I had to pick my hubby up from Bishop tonight, listening on the radio in the car, and I could tell all the Tiger fans on the highway. They were the ones w/ big smiles on their faces, a little slowdown in traffic, and some honking started, took me a second or two to figure out they were all honking at that incredible 6th inning, I honked too. Love this time of year. RSMS, pretty sure since Tigs aren't playing, MSU/ UM game will get a lot of air play tomorrow. Should be fun to listen in on everyones predictions. Mine is MSU!!!! Everyone have a great weekend, Hope the best teams wins, ie Tigers, Lions, Red Wings and MSU for me. Congrats to your daughter, RSMS.

Missed the game but watched the score on my phone. Yeah boys!!! My daughter sang with her Glee Club and I'm a proud mama right now. She did a duet with a friend and "knocked it out of the park' (see, I got a baseball reference for the thread). She also sang a song with the glee club from Wicked that brought a tear to my eye. Saw some future broadway stars tonight.

me again. Usually the week of the Michigan vs. Michigan State game, everybody is taking sides and trash talking and such....but this week, all eyes are on the Tigers. Whether a Spartan or a Wolverine, WE all are pulling for the Tigers. It's really nice to see (just my observation and two cents) Now if we could just get the game to start and get that rain outta here!!!

I'm such a girl-I had tears in my eyes at the end of Aretha's national anthem. This game means so much to this region. Watching the game now and can't help but notice the crowd is so quiet. They need to get LOUD!!!!!

I missed it hopefully see Aretha later, She holds a special spot in my heart, Ken and I got engaged on my bday in 1986 in the parking lot of Pine Knob right before her concert. I then had too much champagne and proceeded to show the ring to fellow concert goers, I loved the concert, my hubby was keeping a very close eye on the ring, however, once we got it back, he kept it. Then a few of our fine seatmates bought us some congratulatory beers. Last thing I needed that night.

Tigers, Bats must get on fire tonight. Wonder if Kid is there, and will be interviewed in the LR. I love Leyland, Schwartz, and Babcock, they truly love their adopted city, see the pain and hurt and hope. Leyland is a big teddy bear!! Schwartz is just cool, love his accent, and fist pump, and Babcock has the best hair in sports,

Did anyone else see the open to tonight's (Tuesday's) game? Leyland had tears in his eyes talking about what the fans mean to this team. It was really special to see.

AJax will come back, pretty sure Granderson is close to a franchise player somewhat like Jeter and ARod, shell of his original steroid pumping self. Although I do love Grandy, he hosted a basketball fundraiser here at Lake Orion w/ Kid Rock. We couldn't make it cuz we got like 10 inches of snow that night, but c'est la vie.

BTW what are your Tiger Superstitions? Think I heard Leyland and the pitching coach or 3rd base coach didn't change their underwear during our win streak. So they will literally stink up the park. Maybe Kid won't want to smell that. Leyland did say that he wore the same underwear everyday but didn't specify if he washed it everyday. During the Spartan run last year, I wore the same pair of socks the entire season, but did wash them, maybe not everyday, but at least every other day. So hopefully Jimmy wears the same underwear but washes them.
