I am so excited after meeting so many great KRC members at the Union I am jumping the gun and starting the cruise countdown. So here goes:

@just because Glad you decided to get on the waiting list. Now that some of us have met, you already have friends on the boat. Hope you can get a cabin.
I really want to go, but we can't commit to anything at the moment since we are moving in the next year and don't know about getting time off yet. I'm a Bourbon kind of girl myself! Part of the reason I'm really sold on the cruise now though is that my husband and I met John Stone last night. He is the nicest guy. I love his cd, but his live show is amazing too!
I'm on the waitlist. Now that I've met some of you all... I really want to go! It will be so much fun. Fingers crossed :). KTWEEDY: We will do it again, I'm sure. And the mac and cheese was really good. Worth the wait, cause depending on when you go you will wait. My poison is Badass, of course, cheap chardonnay, and whiskey and coke. Wine is my favorite :)

Reading post thanks everyone. Miss my new friends already. Just so so tired, but I have to go back to work Thursday. The next two weeks are gong to be rough. Then the mend will happen and I will be ready for the cruise. Best all of you!
@KRCVAL - a complicated story, but the end is that after my son's soccer game my husband wanted to take alittle nap after along day at work. I couldn't get him to get up till 9:30 & then he said it was "too late". I just started speaking to him again yesterday. I read the postings & looked at the pics. Looks like you guys had a good time. Let me know if you get together again. I would like to meet up with you guys. I'm thinking of making him take me there soon cuzz i love Mac & cheese and bad ass beer!
Heck, everyone on the boat will want to party..and let's face it, for the length of the cruise, everyone will be from "Michigan," whether they are or not! lol

We're arriving the morning before the cruise & staying at the hotel through sixthman. We will be looking for stuff to do that day so keep me posted. Can't wait!!

Hey all, I'm not from MI. (from Cali) but what about having a Pre-Cruise KRC Party somewhere in Miami the "Day" before the cruise beings Sixthman usually has a Pre-Cruise Party the "Night" before the cruise. I just ordered 100 Lei's we could work into the party somehow..Just a thought....

Hi Ladies! I'm from Wisconsin so I wouldn't get to party with you MI girls for cocktail hour...that is if I was even going on the cruise. Unfortunately I am on the waitlist :( and I hear there's about 300+ people on the waitlist so I'm pretty bummed knowing there is no way I'll get a spot. Do you know if there are people out there who booked rooms as lead passengers and don't have people to go with? Ultimately I'd want to get my own room with my sister but if going on the cruise is a possibility if we sign up as the 2nd or 3rd for someone else's cabin, I'd be willing to do it.
Val if we had a Michigan cocktail hour our end of the boat might sink. I heard from someone from previous cruise that 60-70% are from Michigan. LOL

From the past, it sounds like there are lots of planned activities to keep us busy if we so choose, but some kind of nametag thingie is a good idea, maybe the first day. Not to exclude all of the other great KRC members, but it would be fun to have a Michigan or by-state cocktail hour, also.
I have an idea for a gift for KR--it's an antique something that I think he would get a kick out of (Detroit-inspired) that I found a few years back :).
Good, I think it would be a good ideal for someone/1's to organize a cocktel hour on the boat. Im not good at stuff like that, but it could be simple, like the little hello tape with our KRC name and maybe a KRC banner (very affordable online) we could all sign and give to KR...Im sure someone could come up with other ideals as well. It would be fun. I hope it happens
