    Fans Upset About Ford Field Tickets And What Not......

    I am a musician. I did not attend college and barley made it out of high school. I try my hardest to keep my ticket prices low, THIS I HAVE CONTROL OF.!! I can not control nor do i understand how the fuck the scalpers and all the secondary websites and bullshit get them. IF I COULD CONFRONT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM FACE TO FACE I WOULD AND IT WOULD NOT WORK OUT TO WELL FOR THEM I GAURANTEE ALL OF YOU. I hate them, i feel like someone is beating up a close friend or family member while im chained to a chair. I try to understand it, i try to ask my managers and people in the buisness i know to help me understand it, but it seems they dont either. The only way i know right now to stop it is to not buy from these people or wait till the last minute when there scared they cant sell em and have to sell them cheap. I am not gonna apologize for something i cant control and it you wanna hate or blame me for it, go for it. But if your really pissed about it, research it and try to find out why its going on and let me know. alot of us are trying to figure out a better way, trust me, the last thing i want is some bottom of the barrel lazy fuck who wont get a real job ripping off my fans to get rich. And no, this post was not consulted w my mangers or publicist, they would probly say not to post it, but thats not how i do things. This is right from my computer to yours. I hope it helps to understand at least how i feel about people trying to get tickets in my fan club or any other way that turns out to be a let down, THAT IS NOT MY INTENTION OR WHY I GOT INTO MUSIC AT ALL. Maybe i should shut down the fan club, because i dont want anyone to think im screwing them and i cant keep the "bottom feeders" from joining it, YET! I try to think of better ways to do things all the time, especially for the fans, but my main focus is always my son and then writing good songs, without those two things, nothing is happening. I will keep my mind spinning trying to figure out a better way to get good tickets to my true fans, and it brings to mind a new song on the new cd "the least that i can do is care" unfortunatley thats not gonna be enuff in this case. trust me im on top of this and doing what i can. thx

why not have people register their names when they purchase tickets and have them show id at the gate. i know you can't stop the scalpers but it will slow them down. like on the cruise you needed to have id that matched ticket. anyway screw the scalpers and the china made products. live in America buy from America.

Karma is a bitch and those that steal $$ off backs of hard working folks will and do pay. Yeah Yeah-He's GREAT & he is-& yes WE know you can get tickets in other venues-Saginaw pre-sale & reg sale-It's not the same & loyal-regular blue collar fans who have been there at all the concerts & were not lucky enoiugh to be one of the Chosen few-will have to sit this one out-if they want to make a statement to the scalpers-BUT the rich will still pay to get a chance to see him-them & their "kids"-now that he has become a "family"act-lol- I guess I should be happy for them & him--I think that's bigger than "Platinum"-BUT ...KID--I just checked e bay & I don't see how you can say you can do nothing about this--I have NO problem with the reg joe & his friends who purchased tickets -as many as they could & now are selling them for a profit-good for them-BUT when I see adds that say check with us we have seats available ALL over the stadium--That's a scalper--E bay has records on them--they can be stopped!!! Make an effort!!!

There is fifty dollar tickets for Dayton show twenty rows back w/seat on the floor right now, i have already purchased mine; but just to let everyone know, there are good seats available that are in my book very great seats for the price. Go check it out?!

I had only seen Kid Rock on Larry King and on TV at one of the inaugration parties for Oboma. I knew he had gone to Iraq numerous times to support our troops and that he is very patriotic. I knew nothing else. He came to West Palm Beach and I was there.. Blew me away...I really don't think he went out of his way to try to rip anyone off.... C'mon, how many artists do you know that have the balls to go post a letter on their site without approval from their PR people..And so what the grammar wasn't perfect, the point was and it was heartfelt.... Hey, if you can't appreciate his sensitivity it is your problem....If I had to describe him in one word it would be PURE. Keep going Kid!!!!! Lots of us love you!!! Great CD. Viv

HAPPY AS CAN BE IN LAPEER, MI. All of you who are complaining about not getting tickets did not stay on the site long enough. I was able to purchase tickets and complete the order from the KRC at 3:12pm for Dow. When I first tried I did not see an enter button so I missed out. The site kept saying to try again after I realized I needed to actually hit the enter button from the keyboard. I sat there and watched the sold out presale notice. This happened for all the venues but as credit cards were declined or someone who was not a member tried to purchase tickets then the buy ticket button would show up again for all venues. Dow reappeared at least 12 times after I made my purchase and wished I could buy more for other family members. At this very moment at 11:30 pm there are tickets available for all venues except Dow. Check the site again you will have some luck. Not everyone wants front row and we settle for great lower bowl where we can actually see. At least you would be there at a fair price instead of upper deck from Ticketmaster or buying from the scalpers. Thanks Kid Rock !!! Better hunting next time. THERE ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE !!!! This comment is for the Dec 1st presale and I Thank God I got them.

It is really easy Fucking just don't buy them from the SCALPERS let them lose out on the tickets Fans need to stick together if people wouldn't buy them then it wouldn't be happening but people keep buying them and paying through the ass for the tickets NOT SAYING YOU ARE NOT WORTH IT CAUSE I LUV YA AND YOUR THE BEST but people really need to start sticking the scalpers and they wouldn't be so quick to be snatching them up

I joined Kid Rock Fan club, not only because I'm a fan, but because I wanted to have the opportunity to get presale tickets for the Dow show. I'm a high school teacher, trying to make ends meet. Every now and then, I do something for me, and this was hopefully going to be one of those opportunities. I was a bit p***ed off when I tried and tried to even get to the point where I could buy tickets, when all of a sudden, '"PRESALE TICKETS SOLD OUT",appears. Extra money isn't something that's sitting in a bank account for me and I certainly can't afford the ticket prices that some people are selling on Stub Hub and e-bay. Come on $15,000 for a ticket, that's fing crazy. I'm just a hard working mom wanting to have a night out on the town. Someone's getting rich and it certainly isn't me.

Ask Bruce Springsteen. He dealt with the same thing. Took on ticketmaster. Do a paperless system like Bruce did. If you buy tickets with a credit card you don't get printed tickets. instead you show up at the venue and produce the card. They swipe it and let you in. You get a printed receipt that shows you your seats but no ticket. Also limit the tickets to 2 or 4 person and no online sales. Do it like the old days when you had to go to a ticketmaster outlet or the venue and stand in line. Anyway it sucks.

Wow, Bob I can feel the anger in that statement. I wish I could help you and the fans that have been taken by these scumbags. I was reading comments from fans that keep bitch'n about the price of tickets. I had to go to ticketmaster to see what the hell was up. All I saw was your normal low price that is offered. I have seen you several times and I have always been happy with the price of your shows. I feel for the people that have gotten ripped off for signing up for some membership to get cheap tickets. Like I have always been told growing up, if it sounds too good to be true it probable is. I know from hearing and reading about email scams and other financial scams online is the accounts are set up off US grounds and it is very difficult to track and prosecute. I guess that is just the sign of the times. We want convienence over security that is the price we have to pay. I have been around long enough to remember the days of standing in long lines at a ticketmaster line to get the best seats. Now I can log on at home or work and with a couple clicks I have my tickets. You have to take the good with the bad. It is great that you are so concerned about the fans when it comes to our money. I don't know you, but I truly feel that you are who you come across to be in interviews, and your music. That is why I love your music and resepect you so much for all you do. My husband is in the Army and we are currently living in Northern NY, Fort Drum. I am so bummed since I won't be home to go to your birthday bash. I miss living in Waterford, MI since I could see you more. Thank you for all the great music that you have brought to the world. Keep up what you do and fuck all the bullshit. Us true fans will always be there!! By the way, by far the top #1 concert ever was the one I went to when I was still in MI, Joe Louis in the winter of 08 with Rev Run and you had J. Giles come on stage too. That was AWESOME, the whole night just Rocked!! Amy

I think your problem lies with the corporate sponsors of the venues. They are promised so many tickets for their personal use. Usually they offer to their top clients and any unused tickets, they can sell to whoever they like.....and they do. Hope this helps you solve the mystery Sherri Sease

I think its cool of you to post this I was so upset I cried,the dow buy tickets button never went to buy tickets it only went to presale sold out in 2 min. I waited all day buy the computer for that!! I cant go to grand rapids so I guess Im out of luck wanted to spend my big 50 birthday with you! Ok here's the deal......... lets say there is 10,000 tickets to a concert event (doesn't matter where or who is playing). Take 1000+ tickets away for friends/family of the person/band/promoter. Now take another 1000+ or more for PR (radio stations/stores/etc. How about another 1000+ for season ticket holders of the venue where the concert is playing. Getting the idea? Now take another 1000+ for fan club members. See where I'm coming from? How many tickets are available to the general public? As far as fan club members being first I agree 100%, but to only have them available is wrong. One of the main problems is with the fan clubs. Why you ask? It's because a lot of the ticket scalpers are members of the fan clubs. Michigan has a law against selling tickets above face value, but like someone else said other states might not. This makes it difficult to enforce. If you go to ebay and look 90% of the tickets are out of state. I don't have the answers to this, but here is the problem.

Tickets are still available on the website people. This is due to people with declined CC and people that are not Fan Club members trying to purchase tickets. Keep trying. I did and just got 4 tickets to one of his shows:)

Bob, you are not going to be able to stop the scalpers, but some thoughts: Send tickets by mail one week prior to show, they can't sell what they don't have! Have a social media site or spot where Detroit fans can report high priced sellers not to buy from. Limit the KRC memberships by zip code, that way people don't feel like they wasted the m'ship. I am a loyal Detroit fan, who was upset last week with no tickets to my 20th show, but was able to get some through TM (3rd time a charm). I am a Walsh College grad and would love to brainstorm with your KRC admin to avoid this. I can say that the KRC did reward me many times at Pine Knob. I would much rather be going to Dow but I am thankful I got tickets at all. I will be going to Grand Rapids but it's a weekday and I really wanted Friday tickets :( Wish I could have gotten the Dow Event Center tickets before they sold out. I hate scalpers! Just look on Craigslist and Ebay. There are people already selling the tickets they got at the presale today for about $200-$500 each. BOGUS JERKS!

Ticketmaster sucks a big one!!!!!!! Paid $30.00 for presale rights and could not get a ticket........sold out in 10 minutes.............Geez, Rock, I'm pissed you don't make the money and the lazy scum bag scrotums get the profit. I'M PRETTY SURE TICKETMASTER IS THE PROBLEM!! Kinda funny how I was on the computer @ 9:55 and it was 10:15 before they would even let me search for tix (kept saying "tickets not available yet") Yet I could go to other websites (not knowing if it's a scam) and buy tix for double the price. I completely think Bobby is worth it, but 1. I Have to take care of my daughter! 2. He's not the one getting the money, it's the F*@**@** scammers!! The same thing happened last summer for Pine Knob, but I ended up getting last minute tix for face value. I don't have three chances this time though. I'll be there one way or another. Is there a fence @ Ford Field I can climb? Just kiddin. Lol. The only reason they get away with scamming Bobby and his fans is because they know how much we love him ;) If we all stood together and waited til last minute, they would have to sell them for regular price. HEY BOBBY ROCK! CAN YOU OPEN YOUR OWN TICKET SALES OFFICE?
