I have never been more PROUD to be KID ROCK fan than I am NOW! He is true to his word - says what he means and means what he says! Due to his low ticket prices, I am going to three of his concerts this summer, June 29th in Holmdel NJ, July 6th in Scranton PA, and July 9th in Camden NJ. I live outside of Philadelphia and this morning on our local radio station 93.3 WMMR morning show "Steve and Preston" were talking about all the upcoming concerts this summer. I was outside of my work waiting to see if they would mention him.

Kid Rock is a scalper.
The 42-year-old Grammy winner, who is launching a summer tour where most tickets are priced at $20, said he's scalping about 1,000 tickets from each show to make up for the cheaper regular price.
"I'm in the scalping business, but you know what? We told everyone.

I have said this before lol But just because I defend Rock to outsiders and NON Fans does not mean that I think the man is a saint and loves everything he does. lol

But like i said the good out weighs the bad for me with Kid..In saying that you aren't gonna agree with anyone 100% and i get that and i am sure Kid does too...I don't expect to like everything he does and in the same breath i am sure if he knew me there would be things he wouldn't like about me.

And to answer your question a bit LK i didn't feel like being hateful or mean to the Don Henley chick she had a lot of mental issues that i figured she need a therapist and medication for not to be called out here. People like that run their course and find something else usually. I have dealt with ppl in the field i work in that have issues like that. I felt empathy for her...
Wow this thread has become a whole different beast. It's original intention was to speak my mind about something a few ppl were saying in another thread that i felt was directed towards me and or PKL. I honestly don't know all of PKL's transgressions here and i won't pretend to...yes if she has made her bed so to speak she has to lie in it that is all i am gonna say.
Myself when i get the feeling someone is saying something towards me i call it out. If there is a problem i call it out. That is just me. KRA made it clear it wasn't about me fine. Then old LK got excited.
Then wow the whole board got to see fireworks. My thoughts @ this time i realize some of you may have a problem with PKL and she may have caused it that is fine. I don't like strife, i don't like arguing, i don't like drama. NEVER have never will. It wastes my time and yours. I try to enjoy life outside of my profession and my writing (which i love to do& thanks for the compliments i appreciate).
Next up i am too lazy to look back and see if old LK gave me permission to say what i like about old Kid Rock. What i like about Kid: he ain't afraid to try most anything musically which makes him grow as an artist, he tours with just about anybody and is humble about it, he works his ass off on stage to give you a good show, he makes good music, he has a site like this so we can all fight, cuss, stomp, rare, drink, kiss & make up, choose to disagree, bitch n moan etc, he raises his son up by himself as single father and has done a damn good job from what i hear, i have heard tell of him helping ppl without any real reason just because he could, he loves Nashville and so do i, he wore the same cowboy outfit i did as a kid (and yes i did and yes i am female and no i am not a lesbian nor have i ever been, lol),

the last time i checked--this is America, and every single one us has the right to post on this site. People who feel that are being "ganged up on" have usually posted something to ask for it. Those said people--also have full freedom to retaliate in kind.

Badass Beer- Im sure if Rock wanted to be making big bucks he could have had his beer brewed at a huge brewery somewhere else. His purpose was to provide jobs in Michigan. Growing that biz slowly to be able to provide BB nationally would be the smart thing to do and if Rock is anything, He is SMART.

@AJAY Thank you for removing this from the thread regarding heart surgery as I suggested but I cannot figure out why there needs to be so much hate and distaste for one another and not just this discussion.
It is maddening as I sit here and read this. None of us are prefect. Some are intelligent, some are pretty, some are talented, some are rich, some are poor, some have formal education, some do not, some are young, some are old, some are healthy, some are not.

'Crazy girl that loves Don Henley' I haven't a clue.. all I know is I worked at a place for many years that cares for sick ppl of mental health related issues. Only she or her true loved ones will be able to seek out the help if needed. However, there are a few things that did appeal to me that made me wanna come on in. I am interested in the part that was brought up about him not liking the 'Nashville way' of having songwriters. Can someone clue me in on what that means? You see.. I enjoy on my off time... writing, playing guitar, and creating songs. I'm very amature.. never performed for an audience since I was 14 and in school.. so this topic interest me -as I don't know if I understand fully what the 'Nashville way' means. Forgive me for my ignorance. My guess would be that it means.. buying a song from someone who is simply just a songwriter.. non-performer, but again.. that's just my guess.
If it is what it means, then it makes a ton of sense.. because from what I gather.. it seems to me that Kid Rock likes to encourage songwriters to get out there and perform their own songs.. rather to sit back, sell, and collect royalties from someone who bought their song whose already made it in the bizz. I think he likes to encourage people to believe in themselves.. that with a lil bit of hard work and practice -if you can write the song, play the song, then why not perform it to people, as well.

Kid Rock is human. He makes mistakes and won't please everyone all the time. That is life. I refuse to be a drone and him be queen bee. I like his music, he puts on a great show, seems like a decent good guy in interviews etc. But i don't see him as a saint or something....he is an entertainer. As far as meeting Kid Rock he makes it a bit clear no ass no pass. That or unless you have some sort of serious illness that can be proven. I haven't seen too many other cases. If you know of others feel free to quote them. The boat maybe? I haven't seen or hear of too many ppl saying i met Kid Rock etc..but of course i am fair minded enough to say hey i might have missed ppl saying that.

Since it is my chance here it goes: I don't like the fact that he seems so hard to meet by his fans(granted i realize he can't meet everyone), i don't like the fact that he is against the Nashville way of having songwriters (that is the way it has been as long as i can remember), i didn't like the blending of songs this tour (i think the songs represent themselves better and sound better being introduced, etc), i hated the flames in 100+ roasting by the shooting flames was too much, i don't like the fact that he hasn't expanded Bad Ass beer distribution to nationwide, and i am sure there is more but i can't think of anything else @ this time...
Now to even the odds do i get the opportunity or @ least according to you to say what i do like? Or do i have to get your permission?
