    Fans Upset About Ford Field Tickets And What Not......

    I am a musician. I did not attend college and barley made it out of high school. I try my hardest to keep my ticket prices low, THIS I HAVE CONTROL OF.!! I can not control nor do i understand how the fuck the scalpers and all the secondary websites and bullshit get them. IF I COULD CONFRONT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM FACE TO FACE I WOULD AND IT WOULD NOT WORK OUT TO WELL FOR THEM I GAURANTEE ALL OF YOU. I hate them, i feel like someone is beating up a close friend or family member while im chained to a chair. I try to understand it, i try to ask my managers and people in the buisness i know to help me understand it, but it seems they dont either. The only way i know right now to stop it is to not buy from these people or wait till the last minute when there scared they cant sell em and have to sell them cheap. I am not gonna apologize for something i cant control and it you wanna hate or blame me for it, go for it. But if your really pissed about it, research it and try to find out why its going on and let me know. alot of us are trying to figure out a better way, trust me, the last thing i want is some bottom of the barrel lazy fuck who wont get a real job ripping off my fans to get rich. And no, this post was not consulted w my mangers or publicist, they would probly say not to post it, but thats not how i do things. This is right from my computer to yours. I hope it helps to understand at least how i feel about people trying to get tickets in my fan club or any other way that turns out to be a let down, THAT IS NOT MY INTENTION OR WHY I GOT INTO MUSIC AT ALL. Maybe i should shut down the fan club, because i dont want anyone to think im screwing them and i cant keep the "bottom feeders" from joining it, YET! I try to think of better ways to do things all the time, especially for the fans, but my main focus is always my son and then writing good songs, without those two things, nothing is happening. I will keep my mind spinning trying to figure out a better way to get good tickets to my true fans, and it brings to mind a new song on the new cd "the least that i can do is care" unfortunatley thats not gonna be enuff in this case. trust me im on top of this and doing what i can. thx

Keep checking the tickets page because when someones credit card is not approved or they are not a member the tickets once again become available. That is how I snagged mine.

Dear Mr Ritchie, It is not your fault that the lazy scum sucking fuckers got the tickets...no way no how are you to blame!!!!! I was able to purchase my VIP tixs through WRIF the next day cause they had their own pre sale...also was able to purchase 2 more VIP tix on the Sat. Ya I bitched cause the pre sale was done in seconds and yes I looked on the other sites and seen that they had them...I knew you would be pist and we all are. Please don't shut down your site PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!! I hate people who try to make a quick buck the wrong way....its like ok people time to buck up and be real...and yes that means GET A JOB FUCKERS A REAL ONE WHERE YOU AIN'T RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!!!! I don't know what it was but I really think Ticketmaster is to blame! I was logged on ready to get the ticket before 10am and as soon as the time hit I refreshed my screen but the box office screen did not come up, so I tried again and again and so on. Until finally at 10:15 it came on the box office screen finally showed up and by then it was too late! I was not the only one who had this problem with Ticketmaster a lot of my friends had the same problem!

Kid you rock! Your frustration is felt by us the fans and we all know that this is not your fault! It is frustrating to us as well when we can't get the tickets or have to consider buying them at a higher price. I myself WILL NOT buy from any of the ticket outlet sources. They are obtaining these tickets unlawfully and it isn't right that they try to pass the tickets on at a higher price and gain the profit on them! I was fortunate enough to land tickets during the presale to Detroit and to Grand Rapids - this will be my fourth show by the way - :) but if I had not - I would stay home and rock on all of your cds before I stoop to their level. I think the more of us that stand our ground will help to put these idiots out of business. Where is the law enforcement? That is what I want to know? If this is illegal, how does it continue to happen? By the way - saw your show Born Free on MTV last weekend! LOVED IT! Keep rocking Kid! P.S. you live down the road from my cousins and I swear one of them could be your look-a-like. :) Must be the water-or beer!

as much as I hate to say this.. a lottery.. I too was unsuccessful for the Saginaw and Grand Rapids show.. I was fortunate to purchase VIP for the 40th birthday but via ticketmaster.. this is outrageous.. First, I love you.. I've been a loyal fan for over 11+ years, you have been by my side through so much shit.. and for that man, I thank you.. I've been back stage, to your pad for Shake's wedding, VIP, nose bleeds, any seat in the house.. I will try again on Sat the 4th because your worth every penny.. I feel bad this is happening especially for the fans that have not had the privilege to see you.. Like I said I've been around for a long time and will continue to, I appreciate your comments and love your honesty.. to all you F's who did this.. go F yourselves...

Bob, thanks for the opportunity to enjoy your gift and the concern you have for us regular Joes. I was just on the pre-sale site and tickets seemed to be moving at an alarming rate. So, that made me think that there's a red flag her somewhere. Unless I'm missing something somewhere or it was posted before, but it's pretty simple really. Does the pre-sale site cross reference the profile information with the KRC information before they authorize the sale? If not, there's your bug. A low life asswipe broker would only have to become a member of the KRC 1 time to get the link to the pre-sale. From that point on, they can employ endless numbers of people on endless numbers of computers and, BAM, there goes your tickets. I would suggest getting putting a program together that makes you enter your KRC login information to even be able to access the link to the pre-sale. Unless I'm missing something, that might do it. Thanks for all you do brother. Rock On!!

There is no way scalpers will stop till it is addressed on a National Level, or state by state. Each state has different laws, If brokers are allowed in a state then it isn't against the law even though incredibly unfair. If brokering were made against the law nationwide, then it would be challenged in court for years by the ticket brokers political action committee. Maybe it has to be a state by state, grass roots effort, I encourage everyone to write their state representatives not Washington officials. I'm drafting a letter/email now to my state rep. I emailed my Representative and Senators in Washington about health care and didn't get a response back until 2 months after they rammed the bill down our throats. My state reps however responded immediately. Just a thought.

I Googled "Kid Rock Dayton Ohio Tickets" Their's 10+ different Scalper websites that's already got tickets available, and each scalper has a lot of tickets with prices starting at $73 for far away seats all the way up to $886 for the close up Floor Seats. Tix don't even go on sale to General Public til Friday Dec 3rd. I'm sure all his other upcoming shows are the same if you Google 'em. This sure seems like maybe a Ticketmaster problem. It Definitley isn't Bob's Fault at all. I'm sure this happens with all Big Headliner shows from Concerts to football Games ect. It's wonderful that Bob posted this because it helps bring more awareness to this huge problem in the tickect industry. I'll be here on KRC at 4:00 today trying to hopefully get descent Floor seat tix for the Dayton Show. If I can't get them. Yeah, I'll be bummed, but I'm definitley not going to Blame Bob. I know he's trying to fix this shit and is as bummed and pissed about this tix problem situation as me and all his fans. The one thing I don't wanta do is go pay scalpers outrageous prices for Tix, Maybe if us fans refuse to buy tickets from sclapers, at least til last minute then maybe they'll lower prices on tix, and may eventually stop buying them in the future because the last thing scalpers wanta do is get stuck with a buncha tickets. If Fans refuse to buy from scalpers, then scalpers won't buy tickets...Yeah I know believe me, I don't wanta miss Bob's shows either, but us as Fan's are enabling Scalpers because we're the one's buying the Tix. It's all about Supply & Demand. If we get really desperate for Tickets in the end, then let's at least wait til last minute to buy tix from these Lowlife's... Scare 'em a Lil Bit. Maybe they'll ease off buying up our our Kid Rock Tix next time around. Y'all Just Remember this isn't Bob's Fault, so please don't blame him. I think that the purchasers name should be on the tickets bought through any outlet.Then they should have to be present and show I.d. when going through the gate. I had no problems getting my tickets for the BJCC in Birmingham AL. Your concert has been on our must see llist forever!!

I agree that its bullshit that people do that, there isnt much we can do to stop them..not yet atleast...I was one of the many trying to get tickets and did not get them, as upset as I am about not being able to attend your Birthday Bash... Just an average 58 year old white Michigan man who wanted to attend his first Kid Rock concert after many years of loving Kid's music and his new Born free release. I too tried to buy the Ford Field tickets and was right on line, on time. Needless to say trying to buy tickets through Ticketmaster is a complete waste of time and you're right, the scalpers buy volumes of blocks and then scalp them for way too much. I also may not be a college graduate but I am sick and tired of people taking advantage of other people by working the system to their advantage and their own pockets advantage. I'm sure there are many people like me who appreciate the fact you don't like what the scalpers are doing and although I'm not sure if you can do anything about it, it's nice to know you care.

Im a huge fan from Richmond MI, I did not finish college, and I did make it out of High School. Im just a hard working Mom of 2 and a wife with a simple life that I love! I love it that you keep it "real". My entire family are fans. My parents wanted to attend your 40th to celebrate their wedding anniversary of 44 years. My Dad called me who is 60 YEARS OLD and said "Hay Toni can you try and get some tickets for that Kid Rock Show" ... I thought I would join your fan club so my husband and I could take my parents to see your show. I went online to get tickets and I missed out. I went online when they went onsale to the public and I missed out, was I bummed .. HECK YEAH. Was I mad and upset ... HELL NO. Just because I did not get tickets does not make me less of a fan, just bums me out! I own a 2008 Softtail and my entire family owns Harleys. I enjoy most of my riding with my parents. We went to The 105th to see you and LOVED it. You will be coming to the "D" again soon and I hope we get tickets then. If not then we might have to ride our "bad azz motor scooters" where ever you are at this summer. Thanks for the AWESOME music and keeping it "real"!

I do not have tickets becuase I can't get on the site fast enough. Sell out in 20 minutes? All I got to say is what a tribute to your talent. One way I may suggest is to sell the tickets yourself via at a box office with a limit of 4 tickets. Back in the day we used to stand in line all night. It was part of the experience of going to a concert. People know who are the scalpers are. Do not sell to them. Have YOUR OWN People sell them not some agency. You be the agency. That I hope would take care of some of that problem. It's a greedy world out there. Folks theiving, stealing and back stabbing to get a head. That is totally F**KED UP.
