On Christmas day, it seems I blew the engine on my car. I will be unloading my Kid Rock collectibles, Paradime Collectibles, and TBT Collectibles. My Car is going to cost me 3 Grand to repair, and I need all the funds I can to make sure I have a vehicle. So, in the upcoming days, be ready to bid, donate, and help a cause much greater then u may think. I am also organizing a benefit show...
Happy Trails
I like most all of Kid Rock's music. Old stuff, new stuff, etc. Would love to hear some of Born Free in a smaller place. Honky tonk style...the way it was meant to be played! Slow My Roll is good porch style or like on the record. And would really love to hear The Midwest Fall played live. That is a sleeper and a great song. Now i really wish it had got on the main album even as a bonus track so more ppl would have heard it.
Roll ON is great song. It is one of those songs unless you listen to the whole album you might miss it. White Guy Black Girl is good. Shows his roots and big part of him, it is raw and you can tell he is young and telling his story. Most all KR music is good it is just hard to pick set list honestly even if we all could...I like Cocky a lot too. IT ain't cocky motherfucker if you back it. That is kind of the way i feel about my writing. It ain't Cocky motherfucker if you back it up! I like Rock On even though i cried the first time i heard the words/lyrics....
On any artist's albums i like to find the deeper cuts that for whatever reason never make it to radio. Lot of times you find gems that way...
Hell Rock bring Kracker and Ty Stone with ya or one or the other. Exposing your fans to Ty would be good for him. And it is always good to go see Uncle Kracker! Love seeing him live too...
Love Blue Jeans and a Rosary, too.
Just Because: Kid always says he doesn't like to be told what to do so if he ever reads this, he'll probably mutter "F" off to us both-LOL
Yes, Bob, call your momma. lmao
I would like to hear him do blue jeans and a rosary
Love Black Bob. On another note, every time I heard the phone messages before "Where U at Rock?
I always crack up and say a prayer for his poor mother. Can't believe he put her on it yelling at him. TOTALLY cracks me up. I'd kill my son if he did that to me. Bob, I hope you treat her well since you seemed to have put her through some sh** as a youngster. Call your momma!
If I had a say it would be an acoustic tour and a mix of all his music just not the ones that have been over played so much.
Prodigal Son
Black Bob
I guess i missed that part. I though i read he was going to do a smaller venue tour in November and December. Like 1,500 seaters and pretty much wants to leave each place blown away...I don't remember nothing about playing obscure tracks for long time fans. I did hear mention on her ppl are wanting him to offer tickets for it through the fan club first. My guess is because they know the smaller places will sell out in about 10 minutes. And if i was to guess i would say @ least half will be sold to scalpers, ticket brokers etc. So i think the fans are right to ask if they can have first dibs through the fan club. I know if he throws a date up for St. Louis a scalping type of company called the Ticket Guys that have stupid ass log and sell on ebay will probably nab 100 of them and try to get hundreds or thousands out of the tickets...
Anyway, would like to see Kid Rock in a small place and see if he truly can blow me away like the first time i saw him....
Kind of hope he plays the Fillmore in Detroit, took a bunch of 14 and 15 yr old's there to see Angels and Airwaves, (was not ready to leave young kids Downtown on their own,) Got a tkt, and stood in line for four hours to get in GA. I was Kids, you owe me big time. Anyway got in all the kids rushed to get good standing room in front of the stage, and I got a great seat on a rail overlooking the bar. Drank a few, met some peeps that thought I was the coolest Mom in the world for bringing 6 kids to the concert, I even got a hug from the kids and they thanked me, I was stunned. I have no idea which songs, but I do love Run off to LA.
Hummmmm,....Any of emm. Yelp!
This is a good question, maybe his people will take notice of what his fans want to hear at these smaller venues. For me there's so many... for starters these are ones I've never seen him perform in concert that I'd like to hear: Prodigal Son, Dark & Grey, My Oedipus Complex, Run Off to LA, Baby Come Home...I know there's more, but that's what comes to mind.
