Summer event season is in full swing in the Quad City area. And as the events go on, so does severe weather.
Event organizers must plan for any possible weather conditions. Burlington Steamboat Days President and Des Moines County Sheriff, Mike Johnson, said organizers run through exercises with emergency management crews.
"We think of all possible scenarios that could happen at Steamboat Days," he said.

FYI, I do not influence my kid to hate Kid Rock. By showing her the GQ photos, my intention was simply that she would be scared straight!
We were leaving tomorrow to go to OBA for Kid Rock Concert. Weather shows terrible weather and The Warft has no idea if it will be cancelled or rescheduled. Here's my questions:
1. Does anyone know if it is cancelled?
2. I was supposed to pick up my tickets at Will Call, what will happen if I am not there because of weather?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Have a good weekend!

I was suppose to pick mine up at will call also. Not sure how they will handle the refunds of those. I would love, love, love to be able to see him when he re-schedules but living 7 hours away I kinda doubt I will get too.
