Hi, My name is Pam, I live in Lebanon Pennsylvania
Over 20 yrs ago when I was in the military, my unit went to work with the 101st Airborne. Upon arriving, we were matched up with our counterparts within the 101st that held the same job MOS. That was a day I will never forget!
I was assigned to work with Specialist Marc Poulin, we worked together and became great friends, but unfortunately, my unit left. We continued to talk over the years, through letters and we occassionally got the opportunity to hook-up for weekend get-aways from time to time. He served in Desert Storm. I was sent to Korea and then was deployed to Somalia. We lost contact with each other as the years went by.
I did however try to find him 10 yrs ago without any luck. I always regretted not telling him what he meant to me sooo many years ago, and it didn't look like I was ever going to get the chance to.
Well in March of this year, I decided to try again. I sent e-mails out to every Marc Poulin i could find. I kept getting e-mails back simply stating that they were not the marc I was looking for and good luck in my search. Then......I recieved an e-mail stating this: Pam, I am sorry I am not the Marc you're looking for, but I know who this is, it is my uncle. He is living in Oklahoma now, I will give him your info and let him decide what to do with it. Within no time, we were talking on the phone. Fate had given me a chance to let this amazing person know just what they meant to me and what he still means to me.
We got a chance to see each other over Memorial Day weekend and it was like it was yesterday that we saw each other. We've been talking ever since...but still I couldn't tell him what I never told him years ago.
His Birthday is Aug 28th, he has tickets to the KID ROCK concert at the OKC Zoo Amplitheatre. I am trying to give him a gift so he knows just how much he means to me. I am trying everything i can think of to get my message out there to the right person/people. My birthday wish to Marc would be to have Kid Rock take 3 seconds to just say Happy Birthday to Marc from Pam, a backstage pass...anything! Hoping I am on the right track and that one of my efforts pays off. Thank You so much for taking the time to read this. ANY help would be greatly greatly appreciated!

Well there was no personal shout-out but he did sing his F**King 40 song, which he said they all changed to 45..lol. He said the family couldn't believe what I attempted to do for him, he said it was awesome and thanked me. I'll take it! The gesture of trying accomplished what I was trying to do. :)

Sent e-mails out to every radio station in OKC within this genre, program director at the amplitheater, posted here. Got a reply back from one of the radio stations program director saying he will try to work his magic for me....so hoping this works!
AWESOME I just love that when its mutual...lol...well if ya love him one of yas should get closer. CLOSER ;) and if he ever asks you to go take a walk with him GO...dont put humor into it cause on computer it gets construed.. Im so glad romance works out sometimes ~
TEll him GIRL...make another crack at it...plan a romantic dinner somewhere and find a place where you can take a walk...take his hand in yours...LOOK deep into his eyes and say...I've searched a long time for you excuse me IF I never want to let ya go...then kiss him.
Oh I told him this past weekend...actually he told me first! Feelings are quite mutual....just 1300 miles seperate us now :(
