    Fans Upset About Ford Field Tickets And What Not......

    I am a musician. I did not attend college and barley made it out of high school. I try my hardest to keep my ticket prices low, THIS I HAVE CONTROL OF.!! I can not control nor do i understand how the fuck the scalpers and all the secondary websites and bullshit get them. IF I COULD CONFRONT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM FACE TO FACE I WOULD AND IT WOULD NOT WORK OUT TO WELL FOR THEM I GAURANTEE ALL OF YOU. I hate them, i feel like someone is beating up a close friend or family member while im chained to a chair. I try to understand it, i try to ask my managers and people in the buisness i know to help me understand it, but it seems they dont either. The only way i know right now to stop it is to not buy from these people or wait till the last minute when there scared they cant sell em and have to sell them cheap. I am not gonna apologize for something i cant control and it you wanna hate or blame me for it, go for it. But if your really pissed about it, research it and try to find out why its going on and let me know. alot of us are trying to figure out a better way, trust me, the last thing i want is some bottom of the barrel lazy fuck who wont get a real job ripping off my fans to get rich. And no, this post was not consulted w my mangers or publicist, they would probly say not to post it, but thats not how i do things. This is right from my computer to yours. I hope it helps to understand at least how i feel about people trying to get tickets in my fan club or any other way that turns out to be a let down, THAT IS NOT MY INTENTION OR WHY I GOT INTO MUSIC AT ALL. Maybe i should shut down the fan club, because i dont want anyone to think im screwing them and i cant keep the "bottom feeders" from joining it, YET! I try to think of better ways to do things all the time, especially for the fans, but my main focus is always my son and then writing good songs, without those two things, nothing is happening. I will keep my mind spinning trying to figure out a better way to get good tickets to my true fans, and it brings to mind a new song on the new cd "the least that i can do is care" unfortunatley thats not gonna be enuff in this case. trust me im on top of this and doing what i can. thx

So Bob sells tickets for hundred of dollars, and gives you a football jersey as well? He makes how much $$$ for a show like this. I have a 5 year University Degree, work a legit 9-5 job, BUT I also buy and sell tickets. Sometimes I make a little extra, sometimes I loose a little. So it is OK for him to charge his fans 300 per floor ticket, BUT as a broker I cant charge someone 100 for an upper ticket. Give me a break. How much $$ has he made off his fans coming to his concerts, buying his T-shirts, joining his fan clubs. What does he drive, How many homes does he own. So he is living the dream, and I am not supposed to try and achive the same. Bob - Email me lets chat about this

The fact that you personally check your site daily and actually read many of the comments and post speaks volumes about your dedication to your fans. You are a REAL and Down to Earth dude. That is why I adore you! You tell it like it is. Screw all the politically correct crap. You are an amazing Artist and it is obvious that you DO CARE! No matter how hard you try unfortunately the scammers somehow always find a way to create new scams. It is very unfortunate that any of your fans would blame you for this situation. Your intentions are always good and you make it a point to put your fans first. I know all this crap really pisses you off but at the end of the day you know that you have done everything with the best intentions and that is extremely appreciated! You can't please EVERYONE all of the time. You are doing a wonderful job at pleasing allot of people allot of the time! Heres an idea..Last year I bought tickets and took my daughter to the Miley Cyrus concert.(Yes, I said Miley Cyrus). Cyrus wanted to ensure that her ticket prices were kept low and purchased by her fans also. She implemented a ticketless system, where the credit card that was used to buy the ticket was our ticket/receipt. The credit card had to be present at the concert. It really did not appear to cause any additional delay to get in either. Each worker at the door had a mini scanner device and would scan the credit card and hand you a printed paper with the seat numbers on it. It seemed to work really well and we didnt have a problem getting tickets. I'm sure there were some problems behind the scenes but it seemed like it worked really well and accomplished the main goal. If anyone were gonna resell tickets they better trust the person you were handing their credit card to. You have to try to do something so your fans can enjoy your Detroit party while still paying the mortgage or car payment. I know you get that. You're real and thats why we love you!!! I will get there again. Setting my sights on those VIP tickets!!

I have been a huge fan of yours for many years and lost my job when Handleman Co. closed. Unfortunalty my family has really been through alot of shit in the past 5 years. I hate those f----- scalpers but, I will admitt that I have saved my pennys for six months at a time and bought your tickets before your sale date. I try not to miss a show in DETROIT!!! Your tickets sell out in minutes and this way it guarantees that I have a seat at your show. I wish this was not legal!!!! Scum!!!!

LOL Well anyhow my basic recommendation is treat your tickets like they treat the airline tickets. LOL just don't ask for a strip search unless you will be doing that personally! Just kidding. But the most valuable tickets can have names printed on them and only the names printed on them can attend and sit in those particular seats. Once I had purchased airline tickets for me and my two boys and so I could get the frequent flyer miles I placed my name on three tickets. Can you believe they told this is not unheard of as a fat person would purchase this number to be able to sit. How funny nevertheless I missed my plane, had to get new tickets, and pay an additional $100 GO ME! They couldn't believe both my boys names were THE SAME AS MINE how dare them. Well anyhow look at this change you are going to make as an economy change. You are going to create jobs and limit the black market ( in which we need). I can work for you any day just let me know and together we will make a change! BTW can you email me a chance to purchase some nice tickets for the new YUM center concert. I live here but from what I hear most of the GOOD SEATS are already sold! go figure

I sure hope none of you have ever or will ever consider selling a ticket (house) for a profit. There is a limited number of tickets (property) in my city. It's unfair that someone else is willing to pay more for the seat (home) that I want! It should be illegal to scalp (re-sell for profit) tickets (property). Scalpers are scum, but I admit I payed one for better seats to see rock perform in Calgary, only after catching the Edmonton show ofcoarse.I don't make alot of money I'm just a welder, but it isn't every day the pimp of the nation comes to town and honestly I'd pay up to $500 a ticket to see rock perform.Money can't buy some things.... Hey douche bag, it's called Will Call or Paperless Ticketing. It's existed for a long time, and you can't pretend like you or your people don't know it exists. Also, it's supply and demand. Very few scalpers do anything illegal in getting their tickets. They're just faster than other people because they use websites to buy tickets EVERY DAY. You know, practice makes you better? What a useless rant, considering ways to severly limit scalping has existed for a long time. It's just harder logistically, which probably means a HIGHER FEE FROM TICKETMASTER AND LESS MONEY FOR KID ROCK PRODUCTIONS. THAT'S THE TRUTH HERE.

You're awesome.. Stub Hub has tickets for $15,000 to your show. I was on line and in 20 minutes tickets were gone. I think these bastards should be arrested. Isn't scalping illegal in Michigan? I know if you scalp outside of an arena your tickets are confiscated and you are under arrest. What gives these pricks the right to take advantage of the little man. Sorry Kid can't make this one at Ford Field.

So I did some research... the problem is the market price of a ticket is sometimes way higher than what artists like you are willing to charge, which leaves a huge opportunity for scalpers to make up the difference. Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor is a smart dude and seems to be on top of it, here is what he does: "NIN gets 10% of the available seats for our own pre-sale. We won a tough (and I mean TOUGH) battle to get the best seats. We require you to sign up at our site (for free) to get tickets. We limit the amount you can buy, we print your name on the tickets and we have our own person let you in a separate entrance where we check your ID to match the ticket. We charge you a surcharge that has been less than TicketMaster's or Live Nation's in all cases so far to pay for the costs of doing this - it's not a profit center for us. We have essentially stopped scalping by doing these things - because we want true fans to be able to get great seats and not get ripped off by these parasites. I assure you nobody in the NIN camp supplies or supports the practice of supplying tickets to these re-sellers because it's not something we morally feel is the right thing to do. We are leaving money on the table here but it's not always about money. Being completely honest, it IS something I've had to consider. If people are willing to pay a lot of money to sit up front AND ARE GOING TO ANYWAY thanks to the rigged system, why let that money go into the hands of the scalpers? I'm the one busting my ass up there every night. The conclusion really came down to it not feeling like the right thing to do - simple as that. "

All I can say is I am VERY disappointed that I could not get tickets through 2 pre-sales and the Ticketmaster sale. I hope that as the time comes closer, I can afford to pay the jacked up prices that these scumbag scalpers are charging. Your shows are worth the money and I have been to many of them in the Deroit area, this is definately a show that I don't want to miss. The scalpers know this and feel it is thier right to prey on the true fans. To all the scumbag scalpers out there...Karma is a Bitch and you will get yours....

You are such an amazing performer! You DJ'ed our school dances at Mount Clemens High School and at Hoop World back in the day. I admired your talent back than and still do now. I was lucky enough to buy tickets for your 40th B-day. These scalpers are completely pathetic and show they would sell their own soul for a lousy buck. The most disturbing thing is with the economy here in the metro detroit area as bad as it is just takes another hit at the working class and rewards the people that can actually afford to pay these unbelievable prices.
