Girl with the sign in Charlotte, NC
    April says (28 Aug '11)

First off, I'm a real easy going person. I get along great with almost anyone! I just wanna say thank you to Kid for putting on an awesome show last night in Charlotte. The atmosphere was great, and the crowd was awesome.... Except... This one girl!

We were in section 3 about 5 rows back from the stage. Everytime Kid would walk over to our side of the stage, some girl would throw a sign up in front of us and NOBODY could see a thing. She was blocking us from seeing Kid everytime he came near us! So me and another girl (whom, I've never met before the show. Sorry didn't catch your name) we walked down to the "sign girl" and asked her nicely to "please stop throwing up the sign, because we couldn't see." And I even patted her on the back and said, "thank you."  Then we walked back to our seats.

Well, take a guess... She keeps doing it! Everybody around us was getting pissed. So we went down to her again, and this time we wern't so nice. The girl who walked down with me tried to grab the sign out of the girls hand. When that didn't work and we basically told her again to keep the sign down in a not so nice way, and I made sure to tell her how disrespectful she was being. I said, "you need to stop being so fucking disrespectful, we can't see a damn thing when you're doing this, and you've got two seconds to stop or it's going to get very ugly up in here, and I'm getting security."

Thankfully after getting ruff with this girl she stopped throwing her stupid sign up. Especially since she was about to get ganged by a few people.... I just think it's very rude for somebody to purposely do something they know is annoying and bothersome to others. We were all there for a good time, and I sure wouldn't wanna be the ONE person that was ruining somebody else's fun! I'm the type of person that if I even accidently bump into someone during a show, I make sure to say, I'm sorry. But that's me, and you know there is always that one asshole in a crowd.

I met some really cool people last night.  Even one lady gave me a hug after the show! I hope y'all see this, so we can reconnect again. As far as the "sign girl" goes.. you're a rude bitch!

Thanks again to Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow.

I totally agree too... being that close.. trust me.. they'll see it rather quickly. Why ruin the whole entire show for everyone behind you. Have some consideration for those around you, people.. geez

If she would've only done it once... It would have been ok. I agree with ya KidRockAngel.

Msbehavin, yay! I'm so glad you had a good time! I was hung over pretty much all day yesterday, and I have several bruises that I have no idea how they got there! Kid's music makes me dance around and act a total fool, and not even care who's watching! But it is sad when it's over.... Well until next time!

Angelique, she looked way over the age of 12, haha! Grown woman actin' a fool. I wish she knew her fame... I wanted her to see this post so BAD! :-)

On another note....I would love to be able to go on the cruise! I have a feeling I'd make a lot of new friends!

Dawn, I have no idea. To be honest, I was too drunk to read it. LOL She had a lot of writing on that thing. The girl also had flowers. Maybe it was a marriage proposal? Haha, who knows.

this is why when I go to concerts im ROWs and ROWS back cause it seems 1-10 rows theres always something...just what I have observed. I havent been to a concert since the cruise. really most have really GOOD eyesight the sign wouldn't have to be any bigger than a greeting card.

Merrilyn's picture

Sorry you had a problem, some people are just rude and/or stupid and ruin the show for others. This is the first concert I've been to in a long time where everyone, well almost everyone, are very respectful of others.

April_10's picture

Some people just don't care for others. They're all about themselves. I try to be considerate. Hell, even while we were tailgating I asked the people beside me if my radio was bothering them, if so I would turn it off. I was playing Kid Rock so of course I figured they were enjoying it, but I wanted to make sure! It's all about having respect for others. But when she ignored our request to lower the sign, and kept on doing it while looking back at us with a FU smirk on her face she lost all respect from me, and just about got punched in the face!

KRLO's picture

Something similar happened at Comerica, some yahoo kept standing on her chair to see him on the catwalk. During a rare lull in the concert, I heard yelling to SIT DOWN. I thought, are you kidding me, SIT at a KR concert? Looked back and saw what the real problem was, Saw later she was no longer there. Don't know if Comerica Security moved her, removed her or kicked the shit out of her. I'm short, I would never think of standing on my chair, I adjust, I usually jump alot. How rude of sign girl. I'm sure KR read her sign and they are probably now married. UGH!

JIM_16's picture

We were in section 1 but I saw the the ass with the sign and thought damn glad were not over there

April_10's picture

I hope you don't run into "sign girl". She was the only one I saw in the whole place with a sign! Ugh, some people!

-Have fun! :-)

MsBehavin's picture

April :-) You're AWESOME!!!!
"Sign Girl" probably shouldn't try to do that today--in Atlanta--lol (her sign will wind up where she DOES NOT want it--lol :-)
Atlanta is just about the same as Detroit---trust me!! ~Lol :-)
It feels like Christmas morning here :-) An 80 degree--Christmas morning :-)
I'll give a review on the Atlanta show tonight or tomorrow :-)
