You did it, You bought a ticket to kid rock in detroit.You have know idea what you have got yourself into.This is your very FIRST KID ROCK concert, And it's in the D"
I hope you understand that the "D" stands for DEFLOWERING. And the kid will rip that cherry from you and not think twice about it. It's gonna hurt, it will hurt so good. You are going to become a KID ROCK junkie.
First you start off going to one concert, then another, then another. You won't be able to get enough. You will do anything to get to the next show. Soon you will find yourself walking down the side of the road looking in ditches for BADASS BEER bottles to turn in just to buy your next ticket. Eventually you will cash in your 401k fund for a flight to the next city and vip tickets just to get your next fix.
If you happen to miss one show , withdrawls will start. It will start off with the shakes. followed by convolsions ( which in reality is you falling to the ground kicking and screaming begging your husband (or wife) for money for just ONE more ticket.) Then your middle finger will go up and down uncontrollably at other people as you walk by. You will be so broke that you will be dumpster diving behind the local waffle house for a free meal.
You will most likely end up in the KRC REHAB like the rest of us junkies. And you don't even want to know what kind of crazies you will meet here. Eventually you could end up losing your job, cars and your home.
Is it really worth it?? Is this what you really want??
So think about this before you go. Better yet, Just send me your tickets and i will save you from this travesty you are about to bring on yourself. I am already a junkie, I can handle it> (lol)

Just bring it in. The only Venue that my camera got sent back to the car was at Dow Center. I took the big one. This was after I emailed and the center stated it was ok. I bought a much smaller one that does not zoom well but does great for video. It is small like a cell phone and have not had any problems getting into any concerts with that one.

@420 I think my seats are right next to the catwalk, depends on if the seat numbers go left to right as you face the stage, I can't even imagine how fun that will be. My birthday present was a flip video, (hopefully cameras are allowed, still trying to get a straight answer from Comerica) but we got the camera personalized with a picture of Kid, Lidstrom and Cheli from the presser on Belle Isle. I already warned my FB friends it would be flooded the next day w/ videos. We are also staying downtown so parking will only be $18.00 instead of a mortgage payment.
Me too, Cheryl. Once I saw him live at the 09 Comerica show, I was hooked. I liked his music before but I really couldn't listen to it because my kids were always with me in the car. I remember watching his Chrismas concert in about 03 and loved it. I drive a lot more now without the kids, so I can listen more. I discovered all his music and have hooked my hubby and three friends. Traveled since then to Nashville, Greensboro, and later this month to Raleigh, to see shows. Still trying to get on that cruise, too. Will be at both Comerica shows this weekend, Yeah, baby!!!!!
@420, yes you are hooked. The 2009 Comerica concert did it for me also. This year I Had Saginaw, London Ont., now Comerica and fighting like heck to pay that cruise bill. Crashed the car the day before London and all I was worried about was how I was going to make it to London. Thank God for the great car Dealer as they gave me a free loaner.

@ktweedy Same with me. I have always been a fan of his music but never went to a concert. Bought my fiance tickets for Jan in grand rapids for a christmas present. 1st seats next to the catwalk. Been hooked ever since. Now i have both detroit shows, chicago and allegan fair within the next month. And i am on the boat for the first time. Can't wait for detroit- he is gonna rock that place.
You forgot to mention the lengths you will go to so you can get on the Chillin' the Most Cruise! I can vouch for these "symptoms". went to my 1st concert in January as a last minute favor to my husband & now I'm an addict :-)
