On Christmas day, it seems I blew the engine on my car. I will be unloading my Kid Rock collectibles, Paradime Collectibles, and TBT Collectibles. My Car is going to cost me 3 Grand to repair, and I need all the funds I can to make sure I have a vehicle. So, in the upcoming days, be ready to bid, donate, and help a cause much greater then u may think. I am also organizing a benefit show...
Happy Trails
angel ask the webcrew whats being done about all the spam...
It was this site. It was like a pop up box that opened on top of the home page. and I have had this page bookmarked since day 1. but thanks.
Hi KidRockAngel - Sorry to hear about this. We do not ask any survey questions when you login. We suggest you call your phone company and make sure you bookmark http://www.kidrock.com/ so you don't end up at a different URL that seems very similar to this site.
I will watch for it cheryl Thanks They never did send message to my phone tho
Thanks lk and i have had problems with puter lately. But my norton and malware say tnhey are kickin ass and takin names and we are safe.
haven't seen it.....but I constantly get that when I want to go on google...
Angel make sure you call your cell phone company to get the charges removed then text stop to that company or they will charge you the fee each month. I know it happened to me also doing something else.
Were you sent the text message through your email? All a virus has to do is appear in the email inbox, which triggers ActiveX controls (technologies developed by Microsoft for sharing information among different applications) to run attached executables (exe) files immediately. Some exe files can be used as a delivery system for viruses or other malicious routines. Outwardly, the infected exe file might seem quite benign. Clicking on it might appear to launch nothing more than a simple arcade game or survey. However, unseen code can be running in the background, infecting or compromising your computer, like Lady Viper had happen to her.
"If one clicks on a malicious exe file, over the next several hours or days the computer might become unstable. Often the user does not relate the problem back to the cause and attributes it to other factors, such as the need to defragment or replace a disk. Personal information or password keystrokes might be handed over to an unknown website without knowledge of the user, or the machine might delete its own files and crash altogether. Any of these scenarios and more can be set in motion by simply clicking on a 'bad' exe file.
Experts recommend keeping virus checkers up to date and deleting email from unknown sources. Even files that appear to be coming from reputable sources can be maligned by third parties without the source's knowledge.
Some viruses try to trick antivirus software by intercepting its requests to the operating system. A virus can hide itself by intercepting the antivirus softwares request to read the file and passing the request to the virus, instead of the OS (Operating System). The virus can then return an uninfected version of the file to the antivirus software, so that it seems that the file is "clean".
