    Looks like the Lions are playing a preseason game at Ford Field on Fri Aug 12 at Ford Field.  Parking may be a problem because Ford Field parking garage might be reserved just for Lion ticket holders.  Downtown will be hopping.

I would love to meet you guys downtown, We will be there at sunup probably, I'm so excited. Confession here, I don't want to put my personal info on this site so not real sure how to get that info to you. I trust 99% of the posters here but it is a public forum, I'm sure you guys know what I mean.

On another note, I am so excited. My b-day was a couple of weeks ago and we finally got my present. It's a flip video, hubby gets a really good discount, anyhoo you can personalize it w/ any image so I'll have a picture of Nick Lidstrom, Kid, and Cheli, paddling to Belle Isle on the camera. Hope we can bring video or cameras to Comerica. Hope to meet up with my fellow cyber fans!! Sorry this has nada to to w/ parking downtown.

Slots and my luck has been crappy lately but it's still fun to go. My sister-in-law is usually my partner in crime although my husband has gone with me the last few times.

I think we are too far but perhaps the hotel has a shuttle or something- I'm in sec. B I think on the end (not catwalk side) so maybe we can find each other and say "Hi" .

RSMS, we have a hotel room also, We figured between the parking fees, and the hassle of trying to get home, it would make more sense to book a room, Little more money, but we will be walking not driving, That way we don't have to have a designated driver, we both plan on having a few.

RSMS, I have been listening to Lions talk a lot,( just wondering what they may do in free agency.) Anyway, the parking may be nuts cuz it sounds like Ford Field may sell out for a PRESEASON game. Lions fans come down early for tailgaiting, KR's stuff will start early in the day but and I think Lions ticket holders will be down there just to soak up the atmosphere of Kid Rock and the game, even though the Lions don't play till 7:30PM. Just saying, pretty sure the lots parking fees will be in the 40 to 50 dollar range. We went down to Ford Field for our high school championship game and parking cost $30.00, in the lots, Hopefully others have better info than I do.
