    PURE MICHIGAN EXPERIENCE!!! Found a new river to tube down. Started our 6 hr. trip. Tube leaking at 5 min. into trip. GOOD TIMES!!  With a finger and lots of blowing we had a great time. Not a house or person in sight for  4 hours. One of my best canoe/tubing trips ever.Doing it again in a week.Once again "GOTTA LOVE MI"!!!!

Just got back from rafting on the AuSable...loved it, a lotta pine & birch trees, Michigan is a beautiful state. We'll definitely go back, @ RSMS on tubes next time yes, you for sure need to connect each other with a rope.

just went kayakin with my boy last monday good times for sure blackwater riverr would love to see michigan in the summer sounds like fun and a nice change of scenery

@Margo: if you are tubing, take some roping so you can all be tied together, otherwise, you get scattered pretty easily.

I've always canoed. First time tubing. WE had a blast. Thank god no leach problem.

Wonder if there is a lot of difference in tubing rivers? There is one in Missouri called Current River that ppl tube on.

Manistee. Holes were no big thing.Just had to blow a little. Views to pretty to complain. Horse flyes were out, but just had to spray with off! STILL GREAT TIME!!!!!

Which river? I just tubed Au Sable last week but luckily no hole leak in mine. Indian River, perhaps?
