    Shitty Rolling Stone article
    Diana says (04 Jul '11)

I logged on the Kid Rock website earlier today and saw an unflattering review by Steve Hyden of Rolling Stone Magazine.  How the article is missing from the website.  Just as well.  It sucked.  Just lends to the degrading credibility of that rag magazine.  You can still read it on Rollingstone.com, but it is full of comments from narrow minded, ignorant jerks.  Rock on Bob! We love you!

@bluesuedeshoe: Why do you post that negative link?. The web crew pulled it because it was a piece of shit. Why do you dig up crap to start? Comment on the great stuff if your a fan not the negative. Web crew has the new one posted already.

And this one has "We're sorry, Bob," written all over it, LOL!

Unconditionally?

Bob, this too shall pass...along with the idealologies of the like minded (Mr. Hyden). We will be remembered by the hearts we touched. It's that simple. Respect your family, kiss your baby, and simply do the right thing. You have made clear changes in your lifestyle. And critics, well nothing new there.

WE BELIEVE IN YOU UNCONDITIONALLY, F*&% THE REST.... :O)
He who laughs last, well, will laugh last....

Think RS is tongue in cheek calling him on schlock and overexposure. Best you can do is log into the
RS comments and tell Steve he's full of crap, right? Shame on RS. They still don't get the "popular song," LOL.

I just looked for the article on their site and it's a piece of crap. Don't bother giving them the traffic. I haven't paid for Rolling Stone in my entire life and I had a subscription for 7 years. Print media is dying and traffic to their site and inflated "subscriber" numbers sell high priced ads that keep the rag afloat in a dying industry. Don't give him the numbers or the comments. Take his paycheck and our word that this one is not worth the time of day. They don't even try to sell magazines now, just ads. You can get a free year of Rolling Stone with almost any internet purchase.

When did Patriotism, loving your hometown, and believing in something better for the world go out of style? I love Journey! I can tell you that these are both traits that Mellencamp and Rock share. They both live in the same areas that they grew up in and SUPPORT them tremendously. They both sings songs about FREEDOM and are proud to be from this country. That comparison that people are complaining about isn't far from the truth. They are in the same league now philanthropically and musically. Yes, I just used the work philanthropic on Kidrock.com and yes, Hyden I know what it means. I live in Mellencamp's home county and know what he does to help it thrive. Rock does the same thing for Detroit and Michigan in a different way.

I may not drive a Prius or be able to get a decent mocha here in this flag loving town, but I can get some of the best Bourbon in the world here and I'll raise a glass to Bobby before I ever agree with this moronic a-hole! Cheers! Keep up the good work Kid and leave the sour grapes whine and expensive cheese to the lightweights like Hyden. I'll take my fifth of 100 proof Bourbon any day and drink him under the table with my 3 college degrees.

Steven Hyden like many jounalist's doesn't get or understand Kid Rock. I think right now Kid is going back and forth identity wise himself. My very best advise is go with your heart to Kid or anyone and you will never be wrong.

Steve Hyden is paid to write articles to sell the rag we are talking about, Rolling Stone. And down the road when they ask Kid to be on the cover again i would mention this article in a a sideways way and get a reaction from them if i was Kid just to see what they had to say.

Don't take it personal Kid Rock. The way the guy talked he didn't know whether to talk you up or shoot you down. He just wanted to be heard and sell an article which in turn sells a magazine. Rolling Stone is nothing of what it used to be. Neither is any other magazine due to the internet. So take it for what it is a magazine struggling trying to stay relevant and sell....

Bob's one of the top acts of summer, and these guys hate success with $$$$ attached. Goes against their principles or something.
