IMO, Kid Rock is the best performer EVER! It's just so real, he loves his fans, he loves the music, he loves to make money (who doesn't)? But he enjoys treating his fans to a great show

"Purple Sky" was very reminiscent of Tesla's Five Man Acoustical Jam Tour in the 90's. They brought out some stools and just played and sang. It was really cool. I'm sure it will end up on Youtube soon. I've learned to go into his shows with an open mind and just expect a great time. It's almost like you can sense his mood and energy on stage and the energy almost never feels the same because he loves so performing so many different genres. He knows how to connect with the crowd no matter how big the venue. I liked his set better than Bon Jovi's last summer at Soldier Field. I can't wait to see him in Indy and what he does there.

Wow, great reviews, gang. Would have loved to have heard Purple Sky--lucky!

The old school stuff is what we really like though since we grew up so close to Kid Rock and have been fans since Grits came out. It was a great show if it's the only one you could make or if you've seen more than one since he mixed it up.

I was at the show and had a great time. He opened with "American Bad Ass" and worked "Cocky" into "You've Never Met A Mothereffer Quite Like Me." They did an acoustic version of "Purple Sky" that was really cool and Kid did "Care" as a solo without Jess and the T.I. video. "Purple Sky" was great because it's one of my husband and I's new favorites since we take long drives as a hobby and were celebrating our anniversary at the show. The version of "Care" was really powerful that way, especially with everything going on in the world and it being the weekend of the 4th. He did a different version of "All Summer Long" that my husband and I were really digging where he had maracas whe whole time. That's another favorite since we had a beach bungalow just off the Michigan coast that we had to give up, but lived in the whole time we dated. He brought Sheryl out for "Love the One You're With," "Picture," and "Collide." They were great together and you could tell were having a lot of fun. Sheryl had a joke during "Picture" that had the crowd roaring (but I won't spoil it). He left out EMSP, but I'm thinking that's because it was near 100 degrees and the fur coat would've been too hot, but he did do the old school mix with "Forever."

I think he flubbed his showing off solo because the DJ was at the front of the stage instead of on the bar next to Steph. He did the "What's My Name" ran up the stairs looking for the turntables and ran back down to scratch. It was actually funny to my husband and I since this was the 4th show of the year and you could tell it was an "Oh Sh!t!" moment when he stopped, looked up at Steph realizing there were no turntables, and hightailed it back down the stairs. Most people I don't think even noticed since the band didn't drop a note, but I'm sure others who have seen this one quite a few times before did. That was a really fun moment for me since I've seen him so many times and this was the closest to flustered I've ever seen him.

What songs did Sheryl & Kid sing together?

The Cincinnati show was great The best part is always the energy that Bobby brings to each and every song. I've seen him twice this year and I'll see him again if he close to home. My Favorite part of the show is Bobby's solo's and the fact that the band is so tight and let's not forget about the backup singers as Tony thr Tiger would say "Their Great" I couldn't pick a favorite song they are all great.
