I am from Michigan just like the Kid himself, and I love Michigan just like Kid does.
I kinda wish I could get ahold of Bob and ask him myself where I can get a hat like his.
Anywho, if someone could answer my question, I would be very grateful.

Just looked here for the first time since I posted this. Rocksavedmysoul - great call. It is just sitting there and it's cool and I know what it is, but you're right - would probably mean more to him or someone with his camp or, as Shirlee said, maybe someone in his camp could put it in an auction. Love the idea of good karma. Next step -- how the heck to let them know? (maybe they read the blurbs here. If so, and if there's interest, I'm glad to hand it over. Of course, would good karma mean a couple tickets to the House of Blues show here in Chicago that I couldn't get tickets for?!?)

How about giving it back to him? I bet he'd appreciate it. You going on the cruise? If so, give it to him then. He'd probably be floored if you did since so many seem to want things from him. If you aren't going on the cruise, then perhaps you could start a discussion to let him know you have it at least. I have found that doing good always comes back to you.
I actually caught his black MID hat, red trim, that he threw into the crowd at his 40th birthday bash at Ford Field. I'm gonna guess he's about a 7-1/4 or so --- it's too small for my head.
Small cigar ash stain on the side. Otherwise, you'd probably never know it's his. Maybe when the DVD comes out someone will believe me! Though I'll say I've not seen another one with a red D on the back. Still, really, no clue what to do with it.

1. DOBBS PARKER MILAN - straw hat (for spring and summer) 80
2. GEORGIO CELLINNI AMALFI JR. - (for fall and winter) $185
3. STETSON LATTE - straw hat (for spring and summer) $88
I bought the Dobbs Parker and the Georgio Amalfi Jr. and love them....
KID wears his hats pulled down on his head, popping the crown out.
Not backwards, but with the brim down in the back.
On Kid Rock's hats they actually steam and dimple out the top of the crown
so he can pull it down the way he does.
Joe that works there hooked me up and really is pleasant to talk to....
I ordered my hats a size larger then what I normally wear and then let Joe make the adjustment to fit my head just right.... They are great hats and although they may cost a lot to me they are worth the money.....
Just call him and tell him what hat you want and to make it the way he does for KID ..... He will do the rest..... And you will love the look and feel.....
Most fedoras have the brim flipped up in the back and down in the front when you buy them. Just reverse it. Flip the front up and the rear down, pull it down tight with your ears inside the hat. I wear an 8 dollar fedora from WalMart and everyone comments on it looking like Kid Rock's.

The hat is tight. I like a cool hat. IT is statement that is understated. It isn't a big ole ten gallon hat but it kind of is sleek like Rock. Cut and and to the point, no b.s. or frills you don't need to bother with. I like the hat in other words....
Contact Henry the Hatter in downtown Detroit. Tell them you are looking for a Kid Rock style fedora. They will hook you up! My friend called them before the Kid Rock Cruise in April and wanted a fedora like he wears and they couldn't have been nicer! Got her fitted for one exactly like he wears!
He's in Detroit. If he's good enough for Bob, should be good enough.
