    Fans Upset About Ford Field Tickets And What Not......

    I am a musician. I did not attend college and barley made it out of high school. I try my hardest to keep my ticket prices low, THIS I HAVE CONTROL OF.!! I can not control nor do i understand how the fuck the scalpers and all the secondary websites and bullshit get them. IF I COULD CONFRONT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM FACE TO FACE I WOULD AND IT WOULD NOT WORK OUT TO WELL FOR THEM I GAURANTEE ALL OF YOU. I hate them, i feel like someone is beating up a close friend or family member while im chained to a chair. I try to understand it, i try to ask my managers and people in the buisness i know to help me understand it, but it seems they dont either. The only way i know right now to stop it is to not buy from these people or wait till the last minute when there scared they cant sell em and have to sell them cheap. I am not gonna apologize for something i cant control and it you wanna hate or blame me for it, go for it. But if your really pissed about it, research it and try to find out why its going on and let me know. alot of us are trying to figure out a better way, trust me, the last thing i want is some bottom of the barrel lazy fuck who wont get a real job ripping off my fans to get rich. And no, this post was not consulted w my mangers or publicist, they would probly say not to post it, but thats not how i do things. This is right from my computer to yours. I hope it helps to understand at least how i feel about people trying to get tickets in my fan club or any other way that turns out to be a let down, THAT IS NOT MY INTENTION OR WHY I GOT INTO MUSIC AT ALL. Maybe i should shut down the fan club, because i dont want anyone to think im screwing them and i cant keep the "bottom feeders" from joining it, YET! I try to think of better ways to do things all the time, especially for the fans, but my main focus is always my son and then writing good songs, without those two things, nothing is happening. I will keep my mind spinning trying to figure out a better way to get good tickets to my true fans, and it brings to mind a new song on the new cd "the least that i can do is care" unfortunatley thats not gonna be enuff in this case. trust me im on top of this and doing what i can. thx

1. AUCTION OFF THE BEST SEATS to the highest bidder : anything above face value goes to your charity... 2. Show credit card/ ID. for the best seats in the house.... A. Most scalpers don't live near the stadiums... B. most scalpers have a "friend" (read as FUCKwad) that works at ticket master AND artist arena etc... my hubby found out his dad is dying 2 weeks before the sell... Had the new Kenny Chesney CD in on date night.... He said, I don't want that .... I NEED SOME KID ROCK!!!! AND CRANKED IT IN OUR AMERICAN MADE CADILLAC ESCALADE! your KRC EMPLOYEES were fantastic! Maps, issuing additional FUCKING AWESOME ON STAGE VIP SEATS!!!!!!!! FRONT ROW We will be spending 20K in Detroit, damn proud to get the privilege!!! One way to deter scalpers is to require the ticketholder to produce the credit card used to purchase the tickets at the gate.

Wow, I'm just glad you acknowledged the problems and can maybe find ways to make it better for your fans. Look at it this way if you never hear feedback then you would have never known what was going on. So hopefully something positive will come out of all this for all of us. I love your music and I'm hoping to get tickets to see you in Louisville KY...ROCK ON!!!

I don't know why people get pissed at you we all know it is not your or any artist fault that we have fucked up low lifes walking all over I PERSONALLY WOULD NEVER BY FROM A SCALPER I would wait and go to the next one or use the money and go to another town or state to so you or anyone else before I give them assholes my money but people also got to understand you have alot of fans and everyone is trying to get in to buy it is not their computer it is the website in itself be bogged down by the fans and the fans should realize that and if they don't them fuck em lol I don't know why they jump your shit it isn't your fault hey KID I still luv ya and I am sure there alot out their that does

And yet another reason I love Kid Rock. It takes a real stand up man to post this. I love that you are so real! I happen to be one of the lucky ones to actually get tickets to the show at Ford Field but only because I was on the fan site right at 3:00 when it opened up. They were sold out in a matter of 3 minutes! If I wasn't on right then, I would have been outta luck too. I appreciate the fact that you do offer a 6 pack. That makes it truly affordable for the real fans out there. I can't wait to see this rockin' bash in January and be on the ship in April with YOU! It's really gonna be a Kid Rockin' year! Love your new CD by the way!

Anyone who knows anything knows this is not your fault! Unfortunately, there's good and bad with technology. The good, I don't have to camp out or stand in a long line like the "old days" to buy a ticket, but the bad is that the scalpers figure out a way to scoop up all the tickets via computer. Please don't beat yourself up over this. True fans would never blame you. Keep being true to you and your fans will always be there.

Thank You Thank You Thank You for your understanding and seeing what we as true fans are going through trying to see you. I have never missed a concert since 2000 and am EXTREMELY PISSED OFF cuz I was unable to buy some tickets to your Ford Field show. I tried, with no luck. Since then I have been looking on ebay, craigslist and other sites to try to find 4 tickets to your show. At this point I will take any seat in the house but I can't find anything at a semi reasonable price. I am a single mother of 2 that was laid off in February. So i've been out of work for a while and with Christmas right around the corner I don't have the Extra money to throw down 500, 600, 700 on some tickets. =( =( I am one of your biggest fans for sure. I will get one of the those tickets somehow.. You have no idea how happy I am to read this post from you. I am so glad you are aware of the problem. I know there is not much you can do. BUT like you say.. The least I can do is Care! And that you Do.. Your the best

There has to be a way to tell the difference between TRUE fan club members and non. Like I have an Kid Rock All Access card that says I am a member since Nov 2003. Maybe we fan club members would have to show our Member card with the ticket. AND there (I wish) should be a way the members who have been fans the longest get the best tickets..if only. Like you have to put your Fan Club member # in and then get the best tickets.

I think all fan clubs should be ran the way Pearl Jam runs theirs. Everyone in the club is "offered" the chance to buy at least 2 tickets (it may be 4) for the base city they claim, and depending on your seniority in the fan club you are offered better seats. My friend gets front row tickets every time Pearl Jam comes to Detroit (at face value!) I believe you may have to pick them up at will call with your ID as to limit the scalping of them as well. As in this case I like the idea of trying to have it on PPV, although If I'm not mistaken that costs a fortune to actually do.

yeah thats super cool of you to acknowledge the issue i was wondering if you knew about the scalpers i myself just bought a $100 general admission ticket for $179, this will be my first show, the last show at dte i bought tickets from a third party company and they were counterfiet so i wasnt allowed in, talk about a let down!

As far as the scalpers and the other bullshitters that try to make money off your tickets, that is pure bullshit! They are too damn lazy to get off their asses and work a real job. U r so down to earth,i mean its all about family and friends and u r just a great person!!! Your music is soo real!!! It's from the heart,its how u feel and see things in life.. I think u r really cool and please keep the pics and emails coming. I am hoping i can get tickets to the Feb 25th show in Kansas City, Mo. I have never been to one of your concerts although I AM a FAN! It wouldnt matter if they sold the tickets for $10. some of us just cant afford to go even if we wanted. I , myself have never seen you live but always buy the CD's when the come out. What i wanted to say is that even though i have never been to a concert, the reason i am a huge fan is not just because of your music but because of the MAN you are.! What you wrote just confirms what a good person you are! I think it is the core of a man's soul that builds the character he shows others and yours it REAL.. just like your music.. So, although i am sure I will never be able to afford a concert, I am still supporting you by buying the cd's. I LOVE how much you show how you love your fans. My husband and i were going to make the Detroit show a mini vacation for us(coming from chicago) since i have always wanted to see you in your hometown since you ROCK in Chicago. Was on the fan club site when tickets went on sale and they sold out before i could buy any. I have been a fan club member for many years and love the site and love the pre sale chances. We are thinking about coming out for the grand rapids show if we can get tickets, and also the peoria and chicago show. Any presale offers this week? I am a HUGE fan and Love all your music. your Born Free special on TV was awesome. It was such a cool way to see inside your life. Keep Rockin Kid and forget about the Haters!

Obviously you and I don't know each other, however for years and years I have always said you are a person with a HUGE heart and someone who really cares about their fans and the people around you. I know that is true and you blog or message shows that more than anything. There isn't anything you can do about those people who scalp. We tried to go to the Thanksgiving Lions game (I only wanted to see the half time show) love football but...anyway the scaplers where selling the tickets for 200.00 each seat and they weren't good seats. Decided to just hang at Chelli's instead and got to meet Chris and watch the half time show on TV with a bunch of other folks who really appreciated it. Worked out great!! Regardless....you can't take the blame or be responsible for the fact that scalpers want to make money off of your amazing talent. IT SUCKS for sure but nothing you can control!! Keep doing what you do!! You are truely the best musician out there....talent beyond belief!! Best shows ever.. LOVE LOVE YOU as an artist and a person (now I know I have never really met you) but I know people!! GOD bless you!! I hope to some day just have the opportunity to meet you and have a beer!!! XOXO

Hey ... we know it's not your fault ... but you can't shut down the fan club ... because I'm sure for every one bottom of the barrel lazy fuck ... there are hundreds even thousands of loyal fans who gladly pay the annual fee at a shot to get early tix to see you ... I know I do ... and was grateful for the fan club presale on the cruise and the cruisers pre-sale on the next cruise ... THANK YOU SO MUCH for all that you do for us the REAL fans ... we know that you CARE! That's why we all love you!!! See you in Feb. in Greensboro (waiting for those tix to go on sale ... and any seat in the house is a good seat when YOU and TBT are performing) & I'll def. see you on a boat mother fucker in April!!! We’ll be staying right down the hall from the grand suites ... can't wait my friend!!! THANK YOU AGAIN for some of the most memorable times of my life ... especially the Chillin the Most Cruise!!!

Maybe you could have your people contact these scalpers to make arrangements to buy the tickets and then have them arrested. Have one of the news stations in on it and record the arrest showing their faces and giving their names. Maybe some of your fans would help you out with this, then take the tickets from the scalpers and GIVE them to the fans that helped bust them. I think that would be a riot to watch! : )

Hey I like the KRC. The tickets do not have the ridiculous ticketmaster fees and the prices were reasonable. I was able to buy 4 tickets to the comerica park show and drive from Minnesota and get a hotel in downtown Detroit for under 800 bucks. Was a great vacation and if I had the money right now I would be there for this one! Thank you Kid Rock for the always amazing shows and great prices ROCK ON!!!

I am a single mom who is unemployed right now...I live near Flint Michigan, and I jumped the gun and paid 120 for a 50 ticket because I was dumb enough to listen to fucking people who don't know what they are talking about. I knew tickets went on sale Friday(I missed out through the fan club) but when I went to the ticket site it just said unavailable would have been nice if they would have said available Friday, anyhow I got tickets and I was pissed at myself for freaking out thinking I wouldn't be able to see you...then I came to terms with the money I lost and said fuck it I GET TO SEE YOU!!! and people need to stop bitching about it and just deal with it, there are much more important issues
