Thanks KRLO-if I ever get there. Kids/hubby schedule is not making it look too good.
The Elbo is nothing special, that's why I loved it. Best friend moved so haven' been up there in while. One time Canada Creek 'Police' stopped us, and threatened to call the DNR cuz they thought we hung a salt lick up. We didn't even know what a salt lick was. BTW. Have fun at your cabin this summer.
KRLO-totally know the Elbo---too funny! Yup, the creek is a special place. I call it nothing special that's something special...
@RSMS, used to go to Atlanta a lot, my best friend had a place at Canada Creek. Had some crazy times at that bar there, think it was called The Elbow Room.
@MrsCedar We may be renting a house this summer on Lake Leelanau. Probably not till August though, still would love to come in July for the Cherry festival, and the Polish festival.
just talked to my sister in law in Atlanta, MI. She says its sunny and beautiful while it's all grey and dreary here downstate. Wish I were up there for the holiday. Enjoy the sun, Mrs. Cedar.
Yah, happy m-day 2 y'all.. Got about 10 morels in my yard. xcept 4 this shitty weather everything is beautiful in Northern Michigan.

Keep on kid rockin'
Hey, Mrs. Cedar, I'm just itching to get up to my cabin. Yeah, you just can't beat Michigan summers. Heard it's gonna be a bumper crop of cherries this year. Can't wait to go elk viewing, tube the Au Sable, and just chill at the beach. It is a slice of heaven and what gets me through our winters. Petoskey Stones comment is hilarious. I have a whole bunch waiting to be polished-LOL! ...it was summertime in Northern Michigan...Happy Memorial weekend.
