This is sad. So young. Hope it was quick and not painful. Hope her family has comfort @ this time as well. 37 is very young. Some things are tough and don't make much sense. Dunno if they ever will. I do hope her whole family is okay. I can't imagine how hard this is on her children.

My heart did break the day I heard Kim was gone , don't think it will ever mend :(
I went and spent time with the girls, her mom and brother after the funeral. I still can't believe she is gone.Thanks for adding me to your Facebook :)

Missy that's ok I will keep in touch here. Funeral was very touching especially when her daughter read a letter she wrote to her mom :(

Awe Bex, I love what you wrote and I also got the chance to read your write-up on the Community Board, You are such a thoughtful person. I too would like to see some other stories from other members post on this site. I don't know if that is going to happen since there are so many other Kid Rock sites and some other ways of the fans communicate. (Glad I got to see your other post)

Kelley, Sorry that I do not do facebook, It is just not my thing. I will try and post more thoughts as I can, and hopefully we can chat on this site. I have a lot of company this holiday weekend and I am far from Michigan. Yet I am thinking about Kim and her Family and their farewell to send Kim home with love and in God's arms.

I still am in disbelief. Let me know if the family has added any special touches with song selection,etc Not sure if there is a mass or just service. Is it hot in Michigan right now? Like I said I am far from Michigan and I really just post on this board anymore. Since I will not be there for the funeral, maybe those that are going can post some more memories or just let us share through their words. God Bless you all!

I've been reading the comments from everyone who knew/chatted with Kim and I offer my sincere condolences. It is very apparent she touched each and everyone of you. God Bless you all.

Kelley, There were are so many Kid Rock boards(sites) It time consuming to read all of them. Some fans and friends go way back. I been around for awhile and still getting to meet some older old school members. Yet I have read some posts or saw their name around.

One thing I have to say is on the old community for awhile it was a really cool place to hang out, a lot more of us shared stories from other than our Kid Rock addictions. On here sometimes it feels like all the discussions are about him. Not saying that is a bad thing. lol What I am trying to say is it was more personal over there, if that makes sense.The conversations went from where we lived, music, family, friends, KR TBT info. to all over the map. Wasn't sure who came over to this site from the other members (since it's newer, some I really wish would post more yet I just know from me it is hard to find some spare time anymore) After reading the news about Kim it just stirred up some fond memories.

So after you get through our Kid Coated Rock exterior we are a good group of people. Angel said it right we are like a family. Disfunctional and all! We be the whole package :)) Sometimes we can't chose our familes but their ours lol. In sincerity most you will find have big hearts and good intents.
Kim was one of the them. :)

I know why I spent time on these boards and as a single parent myself, sometimes the only social outlet you had a night-time while the kids be sleeping was on-line cause you had to be around for the children. Same with Kim..... and A Kid Rock Board Party wouldn't stop some nights lol

Kim had some PenPals all over our Great States! She will be missed all through the Airways, so As Donna put it she will be flying high with the Angels!!

I just looked in on Kim's page here and seeing her smile, I read a couple comments see made, some peeps really need to get a sense of humor. Haha the one comment she put lol after her comment and said when I type lol it is meant as it is supposed to be a funny comment. :) lol

I am gonna miss her posting! a lot

Thanks again Ace and Kelley, I am really glad to hear she found happiness here on Earth. Maybe that is why she wasn't posting on these forums as much. She was going through a rough time back when we were posting much more. I hope she has eternal peace. My mind keeps going back to her children. I hope they know what a nice, caring mother for them she was and all her concerns for their best interest, and how she always made others smile just by being Kim.

Your welcome Missy...I am also very numb right now, I can't believe she is gone we was just together yesterday laughing and having a very long talk.She was a great friend helped me through a lot of things. She was definitively a very giving and caring person. I am so gonna miss my friend :( Her daughters were her life and she so loved Ron with all her heart. Her children are having a hard time which is to be expected keep them in all your prayers and thought's.

Video you are so right you two shock people by blurting out the strangest stuff , but would have everyone laughing so hard.: )
