I'm not linking this because in my opinion it is mean spirited. It is in the Edmonton sun if anyone wants to look at it and comment. The author makes nasty remarks about how ugly rockers get beautiful women, they have a less than flattering photo of KR. Obviously when your photo is taken a bajillion times all will not be perfect. I have no problem w/ bad reviews, but when you attack the artist personally and his fans, in my opinion it goes too far. Anyway just my thoughts. Hope everyone has a great week and great start to summer!

Then this lady and I wouldn't try to guess her age sat on the top of her seat back which made the people who were standing behind her not be able to see. I think these types need to stay with the opera shows. Hell I'm 56 and had the energy to rock it all night. She did not appreciate the man's accomplishments and talent. OMG Cheryl, that's so funny....who sits at a KR concert?? Sitting she wouldn't be able to see anything, last one I went to in Toledo I was 2nd row end of catwalk, if I was sitting I wouldn't have been able to see anything unless KR came right to the end/edge of catwalk. Did she stay seated the whole concert?
The London review talked mostly about the Trews. No Kid Rock photos. Some people who do not follow Kid Rock do not appreciate what he is and what he does for the communities around him. I had seats one and two second section on the left of the catwalk row 2. They lady next to me kept hitting my leg as I tried to get a picture when Bob entered from the saloon. I finally looked down at her and she stated can you sit down so I can see. I stated NO you will have to stand this is a Kid Rock Concert. Come on level with catwalk and she wanted me to sit. Fat chance, I then traded seats with my husband who hops all over the place. On top of the fact he used my Detroit Tigers jacket as a flag screaming Detroit baby at the Kid. That was a bump on a log who didn't know what she got herself into. LOL.

That was a crappy, nasty attack on Bobby. The guy must be jealous. I was in London and it was great. Nothing like his home concerts but all in all very good. Glad he is from Michigan we should all appreciate that.

I don't mind a bad review, I am capable of forming my own opinions, but when the reviewer just belittles the performer or fans, then it is wrong. Jeez I even learned that in my Journalism class from high school a billion years ago.

Wow, that wasn't a show review that was a one man firing squad. I do show reviews myself and i have given one bad show review over the years and it was deserved. I have given a few average show reviews, but i have never slain the performer.
That guy Mike Ross has some sort of problem. Not even sure if it is with Kid Rock. He is just mad @ the world or something. Perhaps some are right. Maybe his girlfriend screwed around with a musician on him or something???

Totally agree Donna, plus the article made no sense, all of a sudden it went into a review of the warm up band, the Trews which seemed mean spirited also, I don't mind critics, used to love watching Siskel and Ebert, but thought they were quite snobby about movies, but they never commented on the actor or actress personally. Also I think this author can be crowned 'King of Douchebag Extraordinaire Island.'
