Once upon a time, a Kid Rock show in Detroit was something all my people wanted to go to. It was the cool thing to do, the cool place to be, a good time for all. Now my mom wants to go, my aunt calls for tickets, and my teachers from High School frequent the shows. Once upon a time, he was a devil without a cause, now he is all religous during his shows, making me feel as if he is a zealot without a cause. The lyrics and content used to be on the edge, its what made him who he is, now its pathetic and same ole same ole. Why do I hold on?

Everyone knows where they were, what they were doing, when this attack happened. I had just come home from my mothers funeral. Only thing that scares me about that is, endangering our troops. I think that would have made the extremists enraged and our troops or others would be killed. Al Jazeera (or however you spell it) showed Daniel Sterns beheading. I am glad we did not stoop to the extremists level.

I keep seeing news footage where Muslims think he should have gotten a trial and been afforded that luxury. Then i see how ppl in the US think all the ppl involved should be executed as well. My only thought is that if this shit had happened in the hood, say old Bin Laden would have killed a good portion of his rivals gang that fucker would have been found and dead inside a weeks time. I feel the same...this has been such a changing year for me I got a few birthday wishes early. Alot of people may say alot of OBAMA but he made a list of things he needed done. hes probally added many years to many lives including mine. I can let this pit in my stomcah go and really have a happy moment. it wont bring my college friend back the one that worked so hard on his goal but his daughter will know the monster that did isnt breathing air he didn't deserve.
