    Fans Upset About Ford Field Tickets And What Not......

    I am a musician. I did not attend college and barley made it out of high school. I try my hardest to keep my ticket prices low, THIS I HAVE CONTROL OF.!! I can not control nor do i understand how the fuck the scalpers and all the secondary websites and bullshit get them. IF I COULD CONFRONT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM FACE TO FACE I WOULD AND IT WOULD NOT WORK OUT TO WELL FOR THEM I GAURANTEE ALL OF YOU. I hate them, i feel like someone is beating up a close friend or family member while im chained to a chair. I try to understand it, i try to ask my managers and people in the buisness i know to help me understand it, but it seems they dont either. The only way i know right now to stop it is to not buy from these people or wait till the last minute when there scared they cant sell em and have to sell them cheap. I am not gonna apologize for something i cant control and it you wanna hate or blame me for it, go for it. But if your really pissed about it, research it and try to find out why its going on and let me know. alot of us are trying to figure out a better way, trust me, the last thing i want is some bottom of the barrel lazy fuck who wont get a real job ripping off my fans to get rich. And no, this post was not consulted w my mangers or publicist, they would probly say not to post it, but thats not how i do things. This is right from my computer to yours. I hope it helps to understand at least how i feel about people trying to get tickets in my fan club or any other way that turns out to be a let down, THAT IS NOT MY INTENTION OR WHY I GOT INTO MUSIC AT ALL. Maybe i should shut down the fan club, because i dont want anyone to think im screwing them and i cant keep the "bottom feeders" from joining it, YET! I try to think of better ways to do things all the time, especially for the fans, but my main focus is always my son and then writing good songs, without those two things, nothing is happening. I will keep my mind spinning trying to figure out a better way to get good tickets to my true fans, and it brings to mind a new song on the new cd "the least that i can do is care" unfortunatley thats not gonna be enuff in this case. trust me im on top of this and doing what i can. thx

I've seen all the bitching and complaining at the fan club about the ticket sells and I don't understand how or even why they would think you would have any control over any of that. You are doing a great job. With your music and with your son. I admire you for keeping your family close. Keep doing what you do and never stop. I wish I could be there with ya to celebrate your 40th b-day but I'll be seeing you and the band in Greensboro NC in Feb. Either in the front row, vip or in the back. If I'm in the building, it's all good to me.

Kid I know exactly what you mean, nothing comes easy in life and people wanna take it all away and make it their own. you had to work for everything in your life and i can relate to that and i know as well as you do how it feels. thank you for all the great music youve put out over the years. it relates to a lot in my life and it helps to get me through the day. your my idol Kid and i hope to meet you someday.

Sucks that you don't have any control over the tickets...... At 10:23 there was no tickets left but the SUCK ASS SCALPERS had/have thousands of them!!! Oh well guess next time I get up earlier!!!!! Happy Birthday!!

Your true fans know you care, we aren't pissed at you, we're pissed that the bottom feeders are screwing you and us. Any real fan of yours appreciates all you do for us (especially here in Detroit) from keeping ticket prices low to giving all you've got to your fans at every show. We know you've got our back Rock and we love you for it! I couldn't get tickets thru the fan club either, and I was pissed, but I still bought some crappy seats just to be in the building to celebrate your birthday, I wouldn't miss this show just because I couldn't get great seats. So don't listen to the haters, we've got lots of love for you and appreciate all you do. Thanks for taking the time to write that message, it means a lot. See you at Ford Field! omGOSH...seriously Bob..do NOT let this ruin a good thing. You are and will always be the Kid from Michigan who has done all of us proud. WE all know you have nothing to do with a bunch of losers who can't seem to find a way to make a living the legal way. It's everywhere...not just in your business but every damn where. You keep making music the way you always have..we love you for that. God has a way of sorting out the unsavorys...he's got it covered. Don't get rid of your fan site..we all love coming on here to get the 411 of what is happening with you. In this time and age people are just crazy and do not have the sense that God gave them so let them do what they do and they will be handled. By the way, I got tickets. I got them for face value. I was on-line early in the A.M. I knew how it was going to be. Everybody that is a friend of mine that is a fan of Kid Rock has gotten tickets. Perhaps those that are upset about not getting a ticket didn't put in the effort TO get a ticket.

hell ya man! honestly i was pissed, i was at the computer at 10 am had 5 tickets ready to be bought and it froze. and well i missed out. it was $315 from ticketmaster, now the cheapest ones i have found are $1350 for 4 from piece of shit people trying to make money off of your talent! wish we could all be there but $1300 bucks is alot! come back to boyne mountain!!! tear it up in the D kid-

Slow your Roll Bobby.......not everyone is putting up a pitty patter bitch fit. It's all about supply and demand. That's how things go. I've seen you 30 times. Traveled to 3 different states in 3 different days a few years ago to catch you. It's not hard to figure out your hometown shows sell out so quick. It's nothing you can do. If you want to do something about it, hold a weeks long show with Palace Sports & Entertainment and be done with it. Control it all. Agreed! Scalpers are a pain in the ass! One way to fight them would be to print the purchaser's name on the ticket and require they have ID when they come to the show - if the names don't match, they don't get in! Sure it sucks for people who buy tickets for friends, but it hurts the scalpers more!! -Les @ zaldor.com

I am a member of the fan club and have been to 5 Kid Rock shows here in Chicago. It really sucks these people do this with tickets. I have gotten pretty good seats for all the shows , but not the best. I am waiting for tickets for the United Center Feb. 26,but have noticed that tickets are up for sale already on some of the scalpers sites . :( I am still hoping for good seats. Thanks for all you do Kid Rock. We love you.
