There has been some discussion recently about people asking for Kid Rocks home address on Public sites. Sure these are probably harmless people wanting a pic of the gate. Sorry NOT COOL! The 1st thing you learn online is never to give out personal info. Its dangerous and stupid. You have no idea what kind of crazy nutballs could be reading.
Furthermore Rock has stated many times that one of the reasons he treasures living in michigan is that he can come and go as a normal person. For the most part they respect his privacy. Yeah Hes a celebrity so he doesnt bitch. But if he wanted tour buses and paparazzi driving by his house, he would live in Malibu.
Dont bug him (autographs and Pics) in restaurants and bars
Dont take his pic without permission
Dont show up at his personal home/gate uninvited
Dont ever post directions to his home, his personal info, details of time spent.
Dont go on his Families FB pages, Bands FB pages, friends FB pages and try to send messages to him.
To me this stuff is COMMON SENSE but I'm amazed at how often it happens. There are hundreds of thousands of fans out here. He cant grant all our wishes. Its rude and inappropriate to ask him too.

Heres the issue Zib. KR and the peeps in the band cant come out and say this stuff without hurting peoples feelings and maybe loosing fans. OBVIOUSLY, alot of fans dont have common sense cause this shit happens all the time. I have no problem saying it out loud and letting peeps get pissed at me.

BOb is the most down to earth man though. before his marriage he came and hung out at cadott in one of the beer tents. NOBODY mobbed him we just treated him nice and I think he appreciated just being able to be himself have alittle off work fun..he even went up and sang with one of the Tent bands...i think entertainers really like just being treated like one of the group sometimes...something to remember when in thier group. Trace Adkins learned it and he said I can't believe I can just walk around this store and NOBODY hounds me for autographs and stuff. I said well ya do have CLAUDE beside ya nobody crosses that man. ;)
Oh, and KRA, you're not a bitch- just looking out for him. Some people are just plain crazy.
It's with anything in life: you have to read the situation and act accordingly. If he seems approachable, then be friendly. If not, then give him his space. I'm still kicking myself for not going up to him at Forty Field when I saw him before the show. I probably would have made an *ss of myself anyway...c'est la vie!

I believe the man has a right to his privacy but you guys come off like you expect no one will ever ask him for a photo, autograph, or anything? Be realistic. Most ppl are all about me, me, me. They don't stop to think about the person they are asking things of.
If i ever have the chance to say hey to Bobby i will. I won't stalk him, go anywhere even remotely near his home, interrupt a meal, or something he is doing. But i think even Bob can relate to wanting to meet someone he admires and has enjoyed listening to for years. If he didn't want to be admired why even be in the spotlight to begin with? IMO i think Bobby is probably a pretty good judge of character and a pretty good guy. I don't think he would shine off a fan who comes correct. That is part of the game of being famous, fans come with it...Some may be very rude, i can only speak and act for myself on that. Those who are rude i am sure will get what they deserve. Those who show manners will more then likely be treated as such. And yeah i realize Bob has bad days like we all do where he isn't in the mood for dealing with ppl, even his fans.

IMO celebrities got a right to privacy too . If you show manners and happen to meet them in a public place i don't see anything wrong with that. You interrupt a meal or something such as that then you are in the wrong. To me it is the same as if a complete stranger comes up to me while i am eating. It would be like what the fuck is wrong with you, can't you see i am eating? Many times to me it is the approach. You show some fucking manners and aren't interrupting then what the fuck is wrong with it? I wouldn't bother someone if i see they are in the middle of something either. You see him leaving and such and there is chance then why not? Am i gonna come up while he is cutting his steak? I don't fucking think so. God gave me sense, he might think about cutting me up instead of the steak...

Most ppl here in MI do leave him alone from what I hear. He is very visible at sporting events, etc., ppl let him be. I do not reside near the area he does; I used to when he was growing up, but that was eons ago and I'm 10 years older than he--(OK, I used to work at the Romeo McDonald's for heaven's sake when I was 17..so he was 7 then if he ever went there!!) Just so you know, Romeo was a quaint, cute town then, still is only bigger; 32 mile and Van Dyke is the main drag (had my first accident there), lots of peach and apple orchards and farm stands. Both sets of my grandparents grew up in Armada, the town next door; my Dad is buried there. Used to bowl (and drink illegally) at the Peach Pit lounge in Romeo, too.
I haven't had the opportunity to see him out and about in public, haven't been looking, but if I did happen to, I'd take note of the situation and then decide if I'd ask to shake his hand or leave him alone (or pee my pants--LOLOL).

I remember meeting Lemmy of Motorhead and i was so stunned Lemmy said to me it is okay as he was signing my stuff. I finally got ballsy and asked him if he would take a picture with me. After the majority of the small crowd already had. Some of them followed him into the strip club and asked for more autographs and shit. I was like nah. He already was cool enough to sign my stuff and take a picture with me, why bother the man anymore? He went into the strip club to drink, watch the strippers and enjoy himself. Do i and others really need to tag along? Now they invite you along that is a different story.
