Love when the arenas, be it The Joe, Palace, Ford Field, or Comerica, play Boston's 'Can't stop Believing.' Each and every fan stands up and sings at the top of their lungs. "BORN AND RAISED IN SOUTH DETROIT." We have a Southwest side and a Southeast side, we have a Northwest and a Northeast side, but no South Detroit, that is why we sing that so loud, cuz our South Detroit neighbors are actually our fine neighbors whom live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. So proud of the Wings tonight. WOW, we have to keep this game going. GO WINGS!!!

sympathey- to feel sorry for someone
empathy- to walk (or put yourself) in someones shoes and relate to their expierience.
when dealing with others (ie family, friends, my patients) I choose to do the latter of the two.
Believe it or not there is a difference between empathy and sympathy. Sympathy is just feeling bad for some. "I'm sorry this happened to you". It usually sounds pretty fake. Empathy is when you put yourselves in someone else's shoes and elate to them. "Man I know how you feel. It happened to me last summer and boy did it suck."
