No go on hubby. Talked to friend in NC that I took to the concert last week; she's mulling it over. Talked to a mom in car loop who is a huge fan and she started salivating as I told her about it. She sooooo wants to go, too. Keeping my fingers crossed she'll go...how much weight can I lose in 30 days?

Mexico is a fuckin blast. just stay in the resort. They speak English. Bottled water. I love Mexico. Everything is dirt cheap too. Rock On!

@ Roxy ~ Yeah, Mexico is such a fucked up place right now (or, like forever ; ) I would LOVE to see the Mayan Ruins, but I think it would just be safer to lounge on the beach, with my toes in the sand and a drink in my hand!!

Geez, I guess I'll be nice and save you some time. No, you don't need a passport if you embark and disembark from a U.S. Port.

I called and got the prices...soooo tempting.....what's funny is I have always said I'd never take a cruise in my lifetime (scared of the ocean) and I have no desire to go to Mexico. NEVER say never.

I got mine last fall and in under 2 weeks. I did not have to pay extra. It came super fast. Some post offices can take your application on weekends. Call around, you can go to any post office, not just the town you live in. Some require an appointment, others have walk-in hours. The local drug store can do the passport photo super quick, as can AAA. Our township clerk processes passport applications, too, but only during the weekday. Hope that helps.

My hubby and I are celebrating 20 years of marriage (+10 dating) this year. We haven't been on a trip alone since 1994. I think we are due. Gotta run the financial numbers and come up with a plan. How awesome would it be to be on that boat (and I hate boats)!

Do It Will. Its my understanding that you just need 2 forms of legal ID but they suggest passport incase something goes wrong and the rule changes while u r out of country. I could be wrong tho. havent traveled out of country since 911.
