There's no reason to work for the man in this wonderful country of ours. Just met with my husbands , now my business partner to go over the details of the new company . He and my spouse ave been working on patents for sometime and he's has quite a few and other ventures and seeing how he has some free time now we decided upon our venture of passive income bringing in about 15 g a day to start. I'm gonna be busy doing the marketing portion since I have all the contacts until it gets going and off the ground and then well, fishing, writing a few songs.
I have seen so many people b!tch to security in this state that it's why I try to go to other states. Seriously, who sits at a rock concert and why go if you don't like crowds? It's not the theater. For public intox, they don't need breathalyzer or blood in IN according to someone I know who adminsters the tests for a living. They only do that for DUIs and work related incidents. I'm glad it worked out OK in the end. It sounds like they were overzealous at the arena and hoping to get some revenue out of you. I'm glad that they didn't come down too hard. It was a great show, but there were better ones on this tour and will be better ones in your future.
I noticed the vibe there was different than the 2 previous shows I had been at weeks before. I was born and raised in N. Indiana and lived in Michigan after I got married and have noticed since moving to the southern half of Indiana that it's not like where I grew up and lived before. It's a very conservative place. We've been here for 4 years and have made no real friends that we'll keep when we move. Women seem to be very possessive of their men and classism is alive and well here. It's sad. We met 3 couples in Nashville and talked hockey before the show for at least 5-10 minutes with each of them. In Louisville, I was with an Aunt and the 2 guys next to us introduced themselves, helped keep me from falling when people were shoving their way through our aisle (I'm not built that big), and were dancing with us all night. They were friendly and very respectful of me being married when they saw my ring.
I was frustrated with E-ville when the guys behind us booed Jamey and the women in front of us threw a hissy over the girls on stage. I watched one guy chew security a new one over his seat and go crazy when Kid showed up not even a foot away from hin on the ramp and shook his hand. The guy on the other side of me kept rubbing up against me and took over half of my space with my husband right there and it really made me uncomfortable. We also had at least 4 groups cut us off at the shirt stand and one complained loudly about the little old lady selling the shirts. I'm not trying to bash any fans here, but it was just a ruder crowd than any other show of his I've been to and that was my 5th. I'm not sure what they have you on, but I'd talk to a local lawyer (E-ville) because it could be some stupid city ordinance that's out of date or it could be real. We try to go to the Bridgestone in Nashville for anything since I have some health issues and that venue has handled me at my worst like champs with no issues. It's a great arena. Good luck!
I think i may have heard 2-3 songs from Jamie tops. The signs were there it was gonna be a fucked up night. People just had an unfriendly aura about them. I just should have not said a word to anybody. Instead i was my friendly, happy go lucky self. Never again. Dunno if i will ever imbibe at concert again either...
Some of the Tour shirts and merchandise are in the new store. The one I want is of course not there. The prices are better than at the shows, but I'm not sure how shipping works out. The women's cuts are small and only go to XL, but they have had up to 3X and 4X in men's sizes at Evansville (sorry sore subject I saw what happened) and in Nashville. It seems like they are expanding sizes as they go.
get there early if you want variety, and the end of the show you'll have to settle for whats left
Ajay, I think they did start a 35.00..I believe I saw up to 2XL...
You may want to check out The Official Kid Rock Store that I saw was just posted on Home/News.
Have fun at the show! Which one you going to?
---CHRSLIE1 - I'm not bitchin at you or nothing and i realize times are tight, but most concert tees start at $35 and most are higher priced then that.
Well the tees aren't bad looking or bad priced. . After the 16th i will know where i stand as far as finances and possibly trying to see another Kid Rock show. Since i technically missed the last one i was at.
Maybe i will get to see KR near me for a show this summer. I will keep watching for new shows to be added.
a little expensive for me. Wanted a shirt but it cost as much as my ticket. Ended up with a shot glass for 15.00 ouch.
