Sometimes it's hard to be a woman
Giving all your love to just one man
You'll have bad times
And he'll have good times
Doin things that you don't understand
But if you love him
You'll forgive him
Even though he's hard to understand
And if you love him
Oh, be proud of him
Cause after all he's just a man
Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
when nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can

I hada 4 month leadtime, but hopefully Judy can get some or most of the $ she needs--she could even lower the amounts if she thinks they are too high for Sponsors.
Val We did the same thing for our Band kids and raised over $5000. Good luck to them
Hi Judy,
Have you tried getting the local paper to write a story about your kids? This would further alert the community about your goal, and then you could ask for donations, too.
Also, see if you can get some of the parents to join you in forming an Underwriting Committee.
This group would be responsible for calling local businesses to see if they could sponsor your team.
You could have different levels like: Gold: $500.00 sponsor, Silver, $250.00 sponsor, or Bronze, $100.00 sponsor. Along with that, make sure the businesses know ANY donation would be appreciated and acknowledged. Then, get the local paper to sponsor a page for you to list all of the businesses that contributed to your cause, and follow up with an article and pictures about the trip after you go. Make sure someone sends thank-you letters to the businesses that donate, as well.
I was able to raise $10,000.00 this way one year for a local organization.
Good luck! Your kids sound like hard workers.
