My suggestions for this site:
KR.com related:
--Fix the lyrics. Its just good business and looks more professional. Some of them are so incredibly wrong that it makes KR look foolish because only a fool would write lyrics that bad. We know KR isn't a fool, so fix the lyrics.
--Please add a PM function to this website--it helps build community & sharing. Building community among your fan base can only increase your fanbase--by its very nature it encourages word of mouth PR because people get together to go to shows and such, pull in their friends and introduce them to KR. A group chat is always nice, but a PM is important. [Angel thinks a chat room is just as important as a PM--it'll make navigation easier. I can get behind that idea, too]
--Allow whoever starts a discussion to delete other people's comments on that discussion. it'll cut down on the spam and drama.
--allow us to be notified by email to activity on threads we don't start, if we so choose.
--Make it clear who can see what subjects in the list of discussions. as it stands, non-congregation members can't see certain subjects/topics (subjects like: KR Congregation, Half Your Age, All Summer Long, etc). There is no reason or explanation for this, so make it clear so people choose the proper subjects if they want everyone to be able to see their discussion.
--increase the length and prominence of "recent activity" list, so we can easily access what's new since we last looked.
--Add a link from people's profiles directly to the comments they make. right now, we can only use people's profiles to jump to the discussion header. but we have to wade through pages and pages of comments to find what they said.
--when looking at a discussion, there should be a way to jump to the first or last page of comments. right now, paging through 20 pages takes forever.
--Allow more discussion threads to be showing on the first page of the discussion forum. right now, threads move too quickly to the 2nd page and get buried.
--make the floating "feedback" tab a fixed button somewhere on the site. or at least move it away from the right hand scroll bar.
--more TBT info (bio section)
--this is too much to hope for, but I'll throw it in anyway. get a moderator in here to seed intelligent conversations about the music, the tour, meaning of lyrics, and marketing efforts. Pushing other kinds of conversations might balance out all the crazy groupie talk and make it more welcoming for the rest of us.
--Occasional posts from TBT members if they want. I'd be interested, and I'm sure others would.
--occasional info about what kind of music KR and TBT members are currently listening to.
Merchandise related:
--Women's style of shirts (not men's, not junior's) in all sizes.
--given that a huge chunk of your fan base is women, why aren't there more women specific merchandise?
--I ride a motorcycle. KR rides a motorcycle. Lots of KR fans ride. give us KR-related motorcycle accessories. a chain wallet? a handlebar bag? bandanas? leather jacket? you get the idea.
--a line of Stef inspired slippers. :-)
Other stuff:
--a live DVD please.
--Please sing Yodalin (complete with the Amazon bush verse) and Balls in Your Mouth on the cruise. :-) And if not those, at least Run Off To LA and Jackson Miss.
--bring Hiprockricy on the cruise with you. Along with Envy, Rehab, Chief and Draztik Meazures. Is Joe Budden and Gangstagrass too much to ask for? probably. (Draztik is at http://usmdetroit.com/ and http://draztikmeazures.bandcamp.com/ and Ganstagrass is at http://www.gangstagrass.com/ and Hiprockricy's demo is here: http://www.mediafire.com/?9zw86jmagvqwfph)
--re-release Polyfuze and EMSP so that they are available to your newer fans.
--How about a biker event-performance in Hershey, PA? Huge biker culture there, the Harley factory in York, PA (just a few miles away) can get involved, and it would be a great destination~ beautiful riding all around central PA. also, Appalachian Harley Davidson (dealer in Mechanicsburg) is already doing an event in May where they are raffling off a Kid Rock signed gas tank; they're a big dealership (filled with KR fans who work there) and would also love to sponsor something like that. (Appalachian HD: http://www.appalachianharley-davidson.com/ )
Way to go Jade for getting the webcrew's attention and a response.
fabulous Missy, I'd love to hear them. :-) thanks!
Good Job, Web Crew, please try and keep getting some more crossed off this list.
WTG Jade! I read another one of your posts not sure which one, I'll look when I got some more time, I might have some ideas for you!!

KidRock.com should have the correct lyrics
@jade - thanks for putting together this great list. We were able to go ahead and implement a few things now including:
- increasing the number of discussions on the main feedback tab
- increase the length and prominence of "recent activity" list
We'll look into some of the others and certainly continue passing along feedback about the things outside of our control.
The Kid Rock WebCrew
hey Ajay, I never meant for the PM thing to have anything to do with Kid Rock. I think that is silly, the guy has enough crap being thrown at him. I want to be able to PM other fans here on this forum. Many of us have linked up on FB or in person before concerts over the years but we can't do that any more with new people if we don't have a private way to share information. no way am I posting my phone or email address on this website full of crazy people!

Not to be an ass here but did you ever think KR don't want you to PM him? I am quite sure he reads this board. But realistically do you really think he has the time to PM with every person that wants to?
I do think it would be cool to have a search function that you can find all your posts. That way you can keep up with threads you have interest in. Yeah you can flag ppls posts, but i would like to see follow up responses to what i say. Not sift through umpteen posts to find mine and see what others have said to them.
New stuff: Yeah biker stuff would be cool but i think you gotta be realistic would it be worth the time and money for him to do that type of merchandise. Maybe he can make you and many others happy with a few things that seem feasible, but things that wouldn't sell there is no point.
A live DVD would definitely sell. I have looked around and don't see one. To capture what he does live would be great for those of us who have already seen and possibly expose him to an audience that couldn't for whatever reason. A DVD reasonably priced would fly and sell well IMO. Most concert DVD's aren't over $20 and i think most ppl can afford that.
Those are my thoughts and opinions so take them for what they are....
Kev? sure, why not. or anyone else. just someone who can be neutral and spend some time controlling the crazies...
I vote For Kevrock!!!
wha? lol
id like a pm heehee with him
someone wants some pm...n it aint angelique?.....KR needs toi get on that dont ya think Jade
So how about getting KEVIN to be a moderator he truly know`s how! JMO @ Jade love the Hershey idea!
yup, we need a way to send private information. no question! I like to meet up with other fans at shows and such, but no way am I posting my cell phone here.
n you have to b pay for upgrade to even be able to request axcess to a black n gold box...but once ur upgraded one time fee...u can request axcess to any box at ant time. good idea i think
n any one who is in the box can accept others "friend request into box" not juz from person who started discussion...their aint gonna b no drama cuz if u do it that way you ll see better whos startin it
plain n simple you need public forums n private..juz limit..put it in a box n then people can request to join dicussion like you woulf friend someone on fb...i dont mind sharing juz a few id rather not have to share with..esp at times ya know
nah, you're not dreaming. You can edit the discussion starter (I've been editing this one to add and modify suggestions as people talk about it) but you can't the comments. Its odd not to have that function on a forum.
Jade, Understood! I didn't think about the fact that ppl could then start their own thread if they wanted.
At one point I thought I saw an edit button here--I must have been dreaming. An editing function would be helpful.
I've also had the problem that deleting my own posts don't work--since I can't edit them sometimes I want to delete and repost to correct a typo and some won't let me do that.
Val, either way I'd be happy, more moderators or allow me to control my own thread. But I"d prefer to control my own discussion to some extent. Yes, you're right, people could just delete comments they don't agree with. but that's ok cause that person can then start their own thread. Right now, the actual conversations are getting buried under crap and tangents and spam. Its hard to actually have an ongoing conversation about anything other than the rockstar-blowjobs crap. frankly. and I like real conversations. (and I like jokes to. but you know what I mean!)
@*ThatGirl*/Erin: That might be a good suggestion to add here, too. How do you make it easier to delete your own posts if you want to.
You have had some good posts, girl, like the Favorite Song one. Stick to those, and you won't have anything to regret or worry about. :)
Now that I'm thinking about it, a self-governing board can be good, too, if the Mods are busy.
ya know i try to delete certain things of my own cuz i can get carried away ya know...well on a few posts my delete wont work no lie...?...and so it is..guess ther r meant to be their..sorry yall for ny drama..juz tryin to make up for ny lost time that had been taken or just simply misplaced..
Hi Jade. I like all of your suggestions. I was thinking about your point :* Allow whoever starts a discussion to delete other people's comments on that discussion. It'll cut down on the spam and drama*
In theory this sounds good, but i'm thinking it could create pandemonium down the line. My suggestion would be that the moderator be the one to delete if the person's posts get flagged too much. I'm thinking that right now there isn't a lot of moderator/ admin. activity taking place here (maybe because of the tour?) What I see possibly happening is someone deleting another's comments just because they don't agree, as opposed to the spam or 'talking to one's self'/ unbalanced posts we see here.
It must be kind of scary for a person posting for the first time here to have their thread hijacked by someone who is "lost in Alabama" somewhere...lol
bump~ my suggestions and RedwingTs are pretty similar, so I'm putting these up again so they're together. I think lots of us would love some of these changes to take place!
we really love KR, we love posting at KR.com and these things would encourage that, not send us running.
How about a biker event-performance in Hershey, PA? Huge biker culture there, the Harley factory in York, PA (just a few miles away) can get involved, and it would be a great destination~ beautiful riding all around central PA. also, Appalachian Harley Davidson (dealer in Mechanicsburg) is already doing an event in May where they are raffling off a Kid Rock signed gas tank; they're a big dealership (filled with KR fans who work there) and would also love to sponsor something like that.

all joking aside, I really have no interest in being a groupie... I just want the guys music and performances. let his family and lovers have him!
wheres angelique have you seen her shes the only one i trust..juz sayin help me out
Now that I've had a few cups os coffee, I can get philosophical on ya :)
I joke about KR getting me all fired up, and he is a very physically attractive man.
But it's the stuff on the inside that I find so appealing-what I hear woven in between the lyrics, the person that he is, the things he does. That's the real turn-on. I know the ladies here probably feel the same way!
@Constance that must be it! Got Husband, but he's gone this weekend.
I don't think he cares where I get my appetite, as long as he is the recipient!
Here I am up early on a Sunday, and all I can think about is sinnin'. I'll be doin' some churchin' later :)
@ KRCVAL- HAHAHAHAHAHahahaha- got boyfriend? sorta like Got milk? but better :)
