Understand this, I am not angry at Angel at all. Despite feeling sorry for her, this has been highly entertaining.
I am only a minor fan of KR. I didn't buy tickets to the concert and have only purchased a few songs. I like what I have seen of his personality, but I don't love him enough to pay $30.00 to join an online fan board where people rally to my defense and call me "a good woman." In fact, I only signed up today because the trolling looked like fun and it was pretty obvious that Angel would take the bait.

I can see her sobbing in pajamas because someone has insulted Bob. It's silly on her part. Of course people are pissed, but you either go or you don't in that situation. Naturally, people aren't going to think about how a massive production like this goes and all the contracts that are involved; when emotions are high, they are going to see a famous face and lash out a little. I am sure Kid Rock has adjusted to that element of fame by now. Eventually, when we all warm up and people get over the disappointment of missing the concert, they will calm down. @VideoAce - I am a girl, but I was simply razzing you. Of course, most Southern people don't know how to drive in snow. We only get it like this once every five to eight years. I imagine the three months of 100 degree with with 80% humidity would be a hard adjustment for you at first.
I know it must be a drag for folks who can't make it but i am sure that down the road the band would remember this and maybe add another stop there. If the band can make it then the show must go on for the people who did make it there. Rock on!

I can't even believe the crap I'm reading here.....I'm not in Little Rock, and I feel horrible for those who have tickets and are missing the show, because I would be so upset if I missed my show coming up in Charleston next week, however........and I stress however, how can ANYONE blame Bob for this mess???? Funny how when he's giving back you all love him to pieces, but something like this, that's obviously totally out of his control, has everyone immediately hating on the poor man....people saying they'll burn 100 copies of his CD and give it away, saying he's greedy, he's an asshole...REALLY???? He's not asking ANYONE to put their lives in danger, if you don't have enough common frigging sense to stay home if the roads are bad, that's your own damn fault. I was irritated about the show, they shut down the highway and we had to go back home. The ticket company wouldn't make it right, they are the one's I'm really pissed at. I said I would rip the music for my friends, that's just crap talk cause I feel bad when I upload the CD to my MP3 player, (feels like I a doing something wrong) Love the Music, Love the Man, hope everybody is having a blast. I'll buy more tickets when he get's to Memphis! Peace!

it's not just about disappointed ticket holders who can't safely get to the arena -- what about all the ticket-takers, ushers, security, concession stand workers, etc. that have to get there when every media outlet, police, and everybody else is telling folks to stay off the roads and streets, that it is not safe to drive -- Verizon Arena keeps pointing the finger at Kid Rock and his management, saying that they just rent the hall and it is up to the show to make the call -- Kid Rock doesn't hire the folks who work the arena....regardless of whose call it is, a lot of disappointed folks are out $$ for tickets to a show that have no realistic hopes of being able to get to, and that $$ is going in the pockets of those who could've made the better call and done the right thing
Kid, what are you and Verizon thinking? Asking us to risk our lives to make it to the show so we don't lose our tickets/money. I myself bought 5 floor tickets, I know it would have been hard, but you could have rescheduled. I have seen you b/f and was very excited to see you again, I have all your music and can truly feel it, but I must say I have lost a bit of respect. I am dissappointed in this poor decision and I hope by the turnout everyone will see how poor it was.....
i am a huge fan of Kid Rock , although ive never had the opportunityto go to a concert, The verison arena announced his appearence to Little Rock for..Feb 9th (TODAY) i have alot of different medical condition so its very hard for me to make plans ahead of time , because i never know from one day to another if i will medically be able to attend or if i will be in the hospital ...i waited as long as could hold out on ordering tickets hopeing i would be ok for 1 week ...yes 1 week away ...well sure enough i had surgery and was going home on sat. ...i had to go back into the hospital for another 3 days from complications...being drugged, confused etc i completely forgot the day,date, week etc.. my family was furiois with me for spending $120.00 on tickets that i couldnt afford and knowing i probably wouldnt be well enough to attend...i was gonna show them regardless!! well unknowing to me that today was Feb 9th...we got 7-8 inches of snow...the drive is an hour away at 60mph...i was stund when i found out it was today , i i will be back in the hospital before morning, i wish the would cancel the concert so i could have a second chance to see him in concert!!! kkwamble@yahoo.com
I assumed it had to do more with his management than his personal choice, so I was not angered. I do think that when most of a city (including government offices) and various interstates are closed due to the weather, postponing should be reconsidered. Still, many of his fans will literally risk their lives to go.
Kidrockangel, I am a little embarrassed for you and they way you choose to represent yourself. You would make a perfect fit for one of the trailer parks about an hour outside of Little Rock. Most of these people are simply venting because they are frustrated and disappointed, but they will still be his fan because of the quality of his music. Trusting management to make it right for those required to risk life/limb to work the concert and those not able to travel there as the highway department is saying: ALL AR highway travel is dangerous and don't get out...his management is wise enough to to know this is a venue not prepared for this kind of weather and certainly they will do their best to make it right.

Been hearing --- Everybody saw it coming, should have made arrangements, should have come early--- so should the event managers and rescheduled. Love the music, will still buy it, but won't buy advance tickets anymore or insurance.
Next, I'm making copies of "Born Free" to give my friends, I lost money on these tickets, so the "dollars" can roll both ways!
