Saw Kid Rock on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart tonight, and just wanted to say that I thought it was a VERY humbling interview. Good to know that there ARE still Artist's out there that DON'T "toot their own horn"!!! And the same goes for the Jimmy Fallon Show interview! (kicked A$$ on the HORSE SHOES!) Speaking from a "parent" viewpoint, I would say that Kid Rock has ALOT to be PROUD OF in regards to the "upbringing" of his son. (probably A HECK of ALOT more than some of those parents in the BOOSTER CLUB's and the SOCCER MOM's/Dad's.) It's good to know that Kid Rock is KEEPING Sheryl Crow "in line" on the tour! hahaha!!! Rockin' women ARE a FORCE to be RECKONED WITH, FOR SURE!!! Keep it up, and KEEP IT "hott", "f%&kin' forty" is SOOOOOOO makin' Kid Rock a HOUSE HOLD "item"....MmmmHmm! and remember: "f%&kin' forty" is HALFWAY to f%&kin' EIGHTY!!! See ya in the ATL next month!!! Can't wait!!!! d.

Hello,
I love all things Kid Rock and have been to 6 shows, including 4 this year alone. I have an awesome time at the shows, but have Celiac Disease. I can not ingest wheat, malt, barley, or rye without severe medical consequences. Even the smallest amount of any of these can send me to the ER and make me sick for weeks. I try to lead as mormal of a life as possible, but cross-comtamination makes it very difficult. The Medics at The Bridgestone have helped me tremendoulsy during shows and it is a very accomodating venue.

Yesterday, at Riverbend in Cincy, they refused to sell me drinks in bottles and told me that they had to be poured into cups. When I asked why they said it was the Artist's decision for them to be poured into cups. They said the artist did not want the bottles to potentially be thrown on stage. It was close to 100 degrees and there were no lids available for the cups. If beer had been spilled into my drink by someone walking past, I could have been poisoned and made my third trip to the ER this week. I know it's a risk I take, but I can't live in a bubble or risk dehydaration in that heat. I'm only 35 and would like to live a little. Is there any way for this policy to be changed or modified that I could be served a closed container with a script from my Doctor? Any one of them would be happy to write it for me. I'm just asking for a medical accomodation, not special treatment.

I know you understand this disease and my immune system can't take much more. Also, are the BBQ's gluten free or allergen friendly? I will be on the cruise next year and know that it is safe. I can be reached through this account and will be at the show in Indy as well. Would someone please notify me of the outcome of this request to let me know if I need that script through my account to stay hydrated and safe? Thanks!

Rock on!

Just Jen

Just "curious"........why is Kid Rock NOT promoting his VERY OWN beer on this page??? I see the "Red Stag" IS getting some "web time" on here. Why not throw in the logo for the Bad Ass beer on a banner or two? It's not like the two are "competitors" in the market, are they? I'm just sayin...if I had a Beer Company with JOBS on "the line" DEPENDING on whether or NOT it SELLS and I had my own "Website" I would FOR SURE have it's Logo SOMEWHERE on the page. Get your "people" to contact their "people" and negotiate a time/slot for the BAD ASS BEER to make it's "mark on the world"......or at the very least, it's mark on the KID ROCK website. And, while you're at it, how 'bout getting the beer FLOWING down SOUTH? Us, G.R.I.T.S. want something NEW to try. I wanna "wrap my lips around the mouth of an ice cold bottle" with some "Bad Ass". Beer. Mmmmmmm......

It's "fun" being 1/2 way to F*%kin' 80, ain't it? ;)

Hi, Just wanted to say thanks to Kid Rock for meaningful lyrics. Helped me through the years, some happy some not so happy. Was able to quote some lyrics at my sons funeral in April, he was only 23 years old, was shot by police in front yard. Sean would have gotten a kick out of me quoting Kid Rock, at his memorial services. I am from the U.P. but live in Utah now.....everyone who knows me knows I am a huge Kid Rock fan......Everytime we listen to one of his albums, I have different perspective on views in my personal life......sure it will be very helpful as my youngest son is getting ready to be deployed to Afghanistan in Sept. So thanks Kid for smiles and the tears.

Good Evening... I am in the process of setting up a web page to promote a cause near to my heart: iCARE (Cancer Awareness Remains Essential). Due to the recent loss of my niece, it is my hope to promote awareness and raise funds to assist with issues related to juvenile cancers. In addition, bring comfort to those children enduring extended stays due to chemotherapy/radiation treatments.

iCARE came about in part due to your song 'Care'. Upon hearing that track, I knew it would touch many if they just listened. Though many may not be able to offer monetary support to causes, everyone is capable of caring... that in itself would make the world different!

Which brings me to the reason I am posting this comment... would it be possible to use your song 'Care' as the musical backdrop on the iCARE web page?

Thank you either way, I appreciate your time and love your music.

Hey Kid, I posted a couple pics on your site, one is me with another woman, Mysti, who is the daughter I gave up for adoption in 1974. Mysti and I have been reunited since November of 2009, and what an experience that is!!! She is so great! Can you give us a shout out at your concert in August? We will be seeing you in Atlanta and I can hardly wait!!!!!

i am going to take my son for his first concert, on August 25,2011, in Raleigh,NC, however, that is also going to be his birthday too. I am willing to pay whatever, but would love for him to get his name called out. He lost his father in 2009, to an overdose,so I have been trying to fill that void... Just wanted to know what it would cost to get a "Shout Out" at that concert?????Please advise.

Okay, Kid Rock, I am going to ask you to help me. You are not going to help me, but there is not any harm in asking. I want to meet Don Henley. Can you help me, I called Bill Clinton's office in New York asking him to help me meet him.

andavl's picture

Hey Bobby. First thanks for so many great memories. I have been to more of your shows than I can count including both of the cruises. I have never left not having a kickass time, but I did leave fucked up on quite a few. You truly great at what you do and bring so much happiness to all those around you. I am posting here to ask a small request. On July 9th, I am taking my 60y/o parents to their first Kid Rock show at the Comcast center in Mansfield MA. It would be awesome if you could play If I were President. I am sure they would love it as would I. Everyone on this board knows you would do a hell of a lot better job getting this great country back on track than the supposed leaders we have at the helm right now. Lastly, but in no way least, I would like to give an extra special thanks for all the support your give our troops. Those men and women are the reason why we still live in the greatest country in the world. Rock On!

My name is Ray Hillenbrand and I am currently a Chiropractor in Detroit Michigan. I came to MI in 1991 and built a successful practice in Oak Park MI with over 70% of my practice from Detroit. In March of 2008 I had an opportunity to go to Arizona to practice as I thought, “The good weather and a growing state, I can’t lose”. Well I left a girl in MI and went to Arizona. After a year in Arizona I started flying to Michigan 1-2 times a month to take care of several Detroit Lions football players with Chiropractic and to see my girl. I ended up coming back to MI for one of your concerts and knew Detroit Michigan was where I needed to be. I lost everything going to Arizona including all my savings and ended up having to declare bankruptcy. The relationship with my family had deteriorated and we barely spoke for two years. I had to borrow money to take my girl to your concert in 2009 at DTE but your slogan of “Made in Detroit” fit who I was. I WAS MADE IN DETROIT. PRO CHIROPRACTIC was made in Detroit and Detroit was my home. I came back to Michigan in May of 2009 and had to start all over again as a Chiropractor. I worked out of my apartment then I went into a studio, then I worked with another Chiropractor. On January 1, 2011 I made a commitment and set bigger goals to make Michigan work. I called my family. Looked for a clinic and invited my sister to go to your B-Day party on January 15. I told her I would get her VIP tickets if she flew in (From Washington DC) it was the best thing I did to rebuild the bond we use to have. You rocked and we wore your Jerseys with pride. She came in to Detroit for less than 24 hours, yet your concert and your words of love for Life and your Passion for what you do was felt as we sang along. I learned to take risks as they usually produced the most exciting events of My life, as I soar toward my goals. My faith is strong and gives me assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen.

Karyn's picture

Your strength in standing up for your beliefs gave me strength to do the same. My Bankruptcy was dismissed in November of 2010 and in February of 2011 I opened my own Chiropractic Clinic. I have approximately 23 Detroit Lions as patients and 3 Red Wings. I see 140-170 patients a week currently. I had lost my house in Arizona in May 2009 with the Bankruptcy. Now by July 1, I will be moving into a house that I just purchased. I haven’t had a house in Michigan since March 2008. I was made in Detroit and I am here to stay. Your songs drive me to make it happen. I’m back and Michigan has given me an opportunity to do what I love, and that is taking care of people. I currently never say no to anyone. If a patient needs me and they don’t have any money I will still take care of them. I will always “Pay it forward” as I see you do time and time again. I was at the NAACP convention in Detroit as again my cliental is 70% from Detroit and you showed your love for Detroit. I hope to instill that same passion for what I do and hope others see that in me also. My sister just bought me tickets for your concert in Bristow, Virginia in August and asked me to fly out. I told her I will be there as we will be wearing your KID Rock B-Day Jerseys for sure. Thanks Kid Rock!

This may not be the forum to start this, but its the first logical place I can find to do so. I'd like to speak with Kid concerning some charity work in Detroit. I'm sure thats a statement you guys hear a million times a day, but I can't not pursue this avenue and say that I tried. I'm working on starting a non profit organization that would raise funds and purchase properties in the city of Detroit. Once these properties are purchased, depending on their current state, vacant homes will be demolished and new homes erected, community gardens planted, or possibly homes simply renovated. Once these homes are either renovated or built, they then would be sold back to the city for face value with the stipulation that the city sell them back to the public for an EXTREMELY low interest rate, all in hopes of establishing neighborhoods again. Imagine whole neighborhoods of folks once again sitting on their porch in the evening, enjoying a community that doesn't scare them inside as soon as the sun goes down. I hope you will take the time to check out my pitch page on IndieGoGo or perhaps even contact me. Thanks for your time. http://www.indiegogo.com/Detroit-Redux

I just have to say how much I love the song "Collide" with Sheryl Crow and Bob Seger (two of my favorites, by the way!). Kid and Sheryl sound great together and I love how Kid kinda sounds like Don Henley on this one. It's a song that reminds me of the best Eagles country-rock classics. Great job!
