Hello my name is John and I am a singer songwriter I was wondering how could I get a demo song sent to you that I wrote for you to sing and record if you like it. This is a pretty good and upbeat song that goes with your type of voice and singing style. I would be glad to email you a demo in MP3 format for you to listen to it. I have the feeling you could make it a number one hit if you were to record it. If you are interested my email is juan_blowes@yahoo.ca

My mom is turning 50 July 7th, and I am surprising her with tickets to your concert in Mansfield, MA on the 9th. She is one of your biggest fans, she loves you! Your music got her through breast cancer and not only are we celebrating 50 years of her life, we are celebrating 5 years post-cancer with no reassurances. Your music gave my mom the strength to make it through cancer. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate then to bring her to see you live; it is at the top of her bucket list. I would like to ask of you a huge favor...would it be possible for you to wish my mom (Jane Bryant) happy birthday at the July 9th show? If so that would be amazing! Thank you!

I have four foster children and today is Father's day. My children are able to work through their grief today by facing truth and we do it with jamming to "Oedipus Complex" . My kid's are able to get it out of their system without shame for being abandoned, neglected and abused by their father. Thank you for being real and your music real. Your music changes lives!

ANDREA......that is the thing about Bob.......he is true Michigan and true downhome, down to earth, born and bred .. Somehow you just know that he doesn't pretend to be what he isn't. He is REAL. I live in SE Michigan and will see him for the first time at Comerica on the 12th (with my 16 yr old son and his first rock concert ever!) Can't wait!

My dad, (who was a big Kid Rock fan) died on September 24, 2010 after a 6 month battle with cancer. I can't help but feel like the Born Free album was made for me right now. I haven't been able to listen to it without crying yet, but I'm sure I will eventually. The song Born Free reminds me so much of all of the things he told me when he knew he was dying. The part that talks about having no regrets and being grateful for this time gets me every time. I swear my dad said many of these things word for word. When I read that Kid Rock filmed the video for Born Free here in our home state of Michigan just two weeks after my dad died, it felt even more incredible.
I live one town over from Kid Rock, and I have seen nothing but good press about him and all of the great things he does for the Detroit area. Kid, I will be in the audience for your Aug. 13 show, probably bawing my eyes out. My dad would have LOVED this album. Thanks for doing Born Free. It means so much to me.

KATI......under the heading "tour" on the KRC website it says that VIP tickets are available for both the 12th and 13th. Click on "buy tickets" and it will take you to the TicketMaster website. Says the VIP tickets are available; but are costly. Hope that you get your tickets. I got tickets for the lower deck; even though my dream ones are VIP, but at least I get to take both my husband and son (for his first concert ever) for less than the price of one VIP. Am looking forward to one hell of a party!

You are one of a kind. I admire you for staying true to your self and your beliefs, not to mention you are one hell of a father. With all of the things you have faced and encountered, you never swayed away from your roots.

Kid Rock OMG we were wondering if u would ever consider to come back to the Huntington Center in Toledo Ohio? We saw u there this year and that was the bomb of a show!!!!!! It would awesome if Cheryl Crow would be there also, I first saw her at Woodstock 94 in New York, I fall so in love with her music and when she is performing with u. its like the best blend that i have heard in a long time sure there are performers that song good but the blend isn't there. So anyway just wanted to give u my opinion. Please consider Toledo with Cheryl. thanks cindy engel -toledo

I live on Torch Lake in Bellaire, MI. I am chairperson for a charity FUN-draiser being held at Shanty Creek Resort. The name of this event is "Candles for the Cause - Christmas in July" and is for Antrim County High Tea for Breast Cancer Prevention. It is July 9, 2011. We are having a Dinner, Auction & Entertainment. Would it be possible to have a donation from Kid Rock? I think it would be an awesome LIVE auction item. We are an ALL volunteer organization and ALL monies raised stay in our local area to help the uninsured and underinsured. I know Kid Rock likes our beautiful Torch Lake! Suzie Davies (torchlakesue@aol.com) Please let me give you more information. Our website is www.antrimcountyhightea.org...thank you for any consideration.

KR, I think your message is right on target. People relate to your songs because we have experienced different parts of them. Your latest effort breeds a positive take charge nationalism that is needed in our country. I grew up in the trailer park in TX. I had what most would consider a dysfunctional environment growing up... But f em, they don't know the half of it!! But really, the odds say I should hooked on crack or spending my life in jail/prison. Despite what seemed at times to be overwhelming odds, I have been a little bit lucky and extremely relentless. I could have made excuses but I couldn't change it or rearrange it so there it was. I had dreams... No one was gonna hold me back. I joined the Corps from 95-99. Got in a bit of trouble just after getting out. Had a felony on my record... That almost brought me down.. I couldn't get a good job even though I was a good person and hard worker because of my criminal background. I was almost to the point of giving up several times and just living a life of crime because society had branded me a felon. I did my years of probation and comm service. Moved to CA and had my record cleared. Things finally started looking up.. Bought a condo in Riverside, CA. Worked as an elevator repairman for 5 years.. Then the economy went south and so did my job. I was unemployed for a year. Several family members and friends passed away. I was losing my condo because I couldn't find a job. I got real down for awhile. But as always, I picked myself up continued forward. The motivation to rebuild bigger and better has led me to a small town in Nevada working for the railroad... I live simpler and cheaper now so I can afford to build bigger and better when the time comes. I have no bills. I still make time to party in Vegas on occasion. Anyway, the point is that if I can succeed despite everything life has thrown at me, anyone can. Hmm.. Kinda sounds like a KR song! Keep bringing the hits that help keep us strong & motivated.

Hey Kid,

I meet my husband about 8 years ago...and ever since I've known him he has been a TRUE die hard fan!! And has turned me, my friends and family into life long fans. We live in a small town in Northeast Iowa and have traveled near and far to see your shows. We currently have tickets to your show with Sheryl Crow on 8/19. I guess what I am trying to ask, or say is... this is our 12th time seeing you in concert. We've done the VIP thing etc... Is there ever a chance to just sit back and have a beer with you? I know this probably sounds "out there"... but you have just been such an inspiration to us. It would mean the world to my husband. You are by far his idol and inspiration. If you could only see him.... you would see so much of yourself. Jessie

Just a comment for Kid Rock-In February I traveled to WI to tend to my Mother who had recently been hospitalized. When she came home I played your "Born Free" CD for her. She really liked it! Especially "Care" with Martina Mc Bride. In May I returned to help out again. I had mentioned to my friend that you were going to be in Milwaukee on July 3rd and asked her if she wanted to go. Mother insisted that I could not leave her, so we decided we would get 3 lawn tickets, then spend the night in the area before returning home the next day. Mom also enjoyed watching CMT. When she saw you were hosting the CMT awards she got all excited, and said "we got to watch on Wed. night-Kid Rock is going to be on here,"God had other plans. On June 5th, Mother got a v.i.p. pass to see "Jesus and His Band of Angels." She would of been 84 on August 4th. Just wanted you to know this story, and let you know that you are loved by alot of people. Especially me and mom. Thanks for all you do, and all you are. Keep it that way! I Love you Bobby!
