You really are an incredible person. I have never obsessed over anyone, famous or in my day to day life, but I have to admit to a little obsession. It is so nice to hear of someone giving back. I really wish I could be at your birthday celebration, gotta work on that. Don't know if I can swing that AND the cruise, but I just might find a way. My 9 year old daughter thinks I should go even though I told her the next thing would be to take her on a vacation. She says, "Yeah Mom, but it's KIDROCK! I think you have to go!" Gotta love that girl!

I didn't get to see you when you came out with Robin Williams to Camp Phoenix, Afghanistan for Christmas in 2007, but several of the guys on my team did. It really meant a lot that you took the time to come out.

I can understand what you felt in Afghanistan because I was "luckily" born in West-Germany, but I'd relatives in East Germany and it was so scary und unbelievable for me as a kid that I wasn't allowed to visit my aunt and uncle there. And I still can't understand why people do such things. I'm more then happy now that the wall fell here in Germany so I was able to get to know my relatives and also that all the people in East Germany were free and were able to explore the world.

I was fortunate to spend the day at Ford Field for the rehearsal for the halftime show and it was just incredible. Can't wait for tomorrow! The fact that Kid always "gives back" and the generosity of this man's kind heart is what makes him even more amazing of a man than he is a star! xoxox

One in way way back, One about 3/4 back. Im moving closer and damnit I WILL get to the front row, even if I have to leave hubby at home to afford it. LOL

Everyone is happy to see you in downtown Detroit! We just came back from seeing Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience. The staff at the Holiday Inn, Fox Theatre, Fish Bones, Greektown Casino and everyone in between...valet, cabs, even the homeless (be nice)! They all love the tourists. Been loving Detroit since my Dad brought me there when I was a wee one. And, now I am doing the same with my kiddlets :)
I had to watch it twice just to take it all in. You do so much more good than you know Bob. Or maybe you do, who would plan a birthday concert and be thinking about using it as a way to get people back to work even if just for a short time. You are one seriously amazing and wonderful human being. Staying grounded in your roots seems to be a blessing for you and everyone in your home state of Michigan. I'm proud to be a fan.

I watched this on the news tonight; great press conference. I appreciate the honesty that Kid brings to his fans and the public in his response's.
