Dear Kid Rock- I do not know if you heard about the fires in Texas but lots of houses burned down and 200 miles of land. We go there in the summer to a lake called Possum kingdom lake, and my mom plays your song All Summer Long on the boat for me and my friends. Our old lake house burned two years agon on the same lake so i want to help the volunteer firemen and old people who lost their houses and church. I hope you can do a concert there to help raise money. google possum kingdom lake - hell's gate and you could play on the cliffs for all the people. My parents go to your concerts (i am to young) and my mom's friends has gone on your cruise two times. We even have a kid rock fathead in our game room at the lake. Please help the people! I'm so excited! I just bought my hubby VIP tickets to RockFest in Cadott, WI for his birthday. The last time we saw you was 3 years ago in Minneapolis. You were with Rev Run and it was AWESOME. Saw the show in Burlington, VT summer 2009...having been born and raised on Long Island, NY..I saw a lot of concerts in my day (I'm 48)...this show was awesome! I plan to keep up when he is in our area and gather with the same friends to see his show again on a yearly basis!
I just want to say as a old fart as I'm am I sure get a lot of strange looks when I play cd's my younger step daughter thinks I'm a hoot and thinks I'm going though my second childhood, which I might be going though, as a person with lots of disabilities, and living on disability, your songs have made a lot of bad times easier for me, I wish I could afford to see you in concert when you play in my part of the world(St Louis) but the only thing I can afford is your CD so keep on singing and putting out cd's for people who your music helps there day brighter
I am so happy Kid Rock, even though the man I Love has a whole other life, I have this new little life that I can spoil rotten, I accept that I am meant to go this life alone, but I can love some cool animals as I grow older and that is what makes me happy. I do love Don Henley and he has a whole other life, but Kid Rock, from my own home, I can and do love him and wish him and everyone he loves, a good life and a life full of happiness.
