Watching the Philly news at work this am and come to a disturbing story. It is messed up that a store in the mall like Spencer's can get away with selling shirts let alone... but ya can't wear them in the mall. I posted this on the Kid Rock boards because I am aware of Kid Rock wearing and supporting a similar type shirt. C'mon man.. "this is 'Merica.. we speak 'Merican here"!!!!

I was so happy to hear you say that you like helping someone who needs a push. I want to bring to your attention the sad and painful road ahead of 10 year old Victor Barahona. I will only link you a press article and leave it up to you to familiarize yourself with this young boy who NEEDS a lot of love, affection, and a family.
I thought (if you haven't heard about the tragedy already) that you might be able to make a HUGE impact and difference on this young boy's life. Whatever you can do; if it's a visit in his temporary foster home, or a phone call, or, or, or... I am just a person who has been deeply touched by the horror of his past but who is positive that his life can be turned around and that he can have a bright future. Thank you Kid! I am a ("mature") fan of your music & philosophy. My questions are: You are such a patriot. When I was raised, there was such a stink about how to treat the American flag. I was surprised awhile ago to see you on stage using an American flag as a poncho. Your thoughts? Also, while on the topic of flags, I always thought the Confederate flag stood for "rebel" until a couple of years ago when I learned it is very offensive to some black people. Knowing that you are not racist, I am curious about your thinking on that flag being such a large part of your visual displays.

Just saw the Piers Morgan interview and was impressed and very intrigued. I appreciate your sense of values and love of country. Hey I'm going to the Kid Rock show at the John Labatt Centre in London, On and I was wondering/hoping that Ty Stone will be one of the openers for the show. He was unreal at the Ford Field show and I think the crowd in London will love him. Oh and please play Rock n' Roll Jesus and Purple Sky at the show!

One of Memphis' most popular radio personalities John "Bad Dog" McCormack passed away today from complications with his battle w/ leukemia. He was a amazing man who spent most of his life helping out the kids at St. Jude. I don't know if you ever had the chance to meet him on your travels to Memphis but he was loved by many. If anyone can get this message to Kid Rock, please ask him that when he plays "Only God Knows Why" Saturday here in Memphis, to please dedicate it to Bad Dog.
