I also just saw an announcement that you will be in London, ON on May 28th!!! So excited!!! Will there be a presale for fan club members?
OK got a question for you, you did not announce more tour dates but i just saw on evenko that you will be in Montreal may 30 is it true????????
And since i've been bugging you since the boat last year about coming here, when can i get my first row ticket....LOLLL.
TY
So here me and my old man sit in front of our laptop, cocktails in hand, watching the "Kid Rock Official Videos" on YouTube as our mini concert because we can't seem to get Kid to come to Omaha, Nebraska for the real thing. Come on Kid, don't make us beg...but we will if we have to. :) Hope you will come to Omaha, Nebraska soon! Looking forward to hearing "When it Rains" in person. Hands down the best CD yet.
The concert in Evansville IN on March 1st was aaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwessssssssommmme!! And kid is sooooo freakin hot I LOVE HIM!!! I want 2 meet him so bad!!! I at least got to give his stage manager some premium cigars...romeo and juliet and playboy.....and i he took one from my hand when he was on stage! Sooo exciting....now my quest is meeting him for an autograph!! I would love that...he is so amazing!!
Any idea when new tour dates will be announced?
I realize from another thread that Kid is pretty protective of the backstage area, meeting fans, signing autographs, etc. I gotta wonder and voice this though. Why punish those who care and are fans for those who are assholes and use sign items for auctions and shit like that? And trust me, i have seen the asshats with 15 guitar pic guards getting them signed to put up on a cheap ass guitar on ebay.
I dunno if too many ppl are like me. I keep all the mementos i have from meeting ppl. Right now i am at some point gonna take my 4GB card i had in my camera and go to Wal Mart and get the picture with me and Lemmy made. I also have a Motorhead poster minus Mikkey Dee's autograph. Which i am either gonna find out if i can send to Mikkey with an envelope and return postage to get signed or the next tour try to catch up with Mikkey. Once that thing is done it will be framed and kept by me. I got all kinds of shit and to this date not one item has made it's way to ebay nor will it ever unless it is the difference between me being able to live, eat, pay my bills, etc.
Just read more propaganda (crap) stirred up by the naacp about the Southern flag. I am from the South and have friends from all races and backgrounds. The Confederate flag has Always stood for the South, NOT a race thing!
Kid Rock; Keep doing what your doing. And Congratulations on the Honor in Detroit, Well Deserved!
@ the destined...fury walls yall fury walls
The Show in Orlando Florida 3/5/11 was awesome....thank you so much. I appreciate what you said about those serving in the military here and overseas. The beginning of next year my husband leaves for about a year to go overseas. Just keep doing what you do darlin.
To MBO,
It sounds like your cousin (Rooster) is an amazing and giving person. I know you had an awesome time at the show. You are truly blessed to know someone with a heart like that, and I sincerely hope all of his kindness comes back to him tenfold :-)
...Oh and to THATGIRL....It's time for your medication sweetie
LOVED the show in Evansville, IND last week! Was in ROW 2 of the floor seats! GREAT SHOW!
Kid and the confederate flag was the topic of a local radio station here in Tyler Texas this morning. Most were on Kid's side. Those who aren't don't know Kid's history. Nor have they seen his concerts. Kid is all about America. The NAACP award is only giving Jesse Jackson and his buddies news time. What else have they got? Can't understand a thing he says anyway.
I have been to several of Kid's concerts throughout the past years and loved every minute! I will be 60 this June 25 and I love to Rock!
Keep those flags flying, Kid!
Saw Kid Rock for the fourth time last week Saturday here in Chicago. By far the best show. Absolutely blew me and my girlfriend away. Thanks for rocking and for being a damn good American!
Gob Bless the USA!
Best,
Nick
(Chicago, IL)
II just heard about the Kid Rocks use of Confederate flag sparks NAACP boycott.
The ignorance never ceases to amaze me. Its Heritage Not Hate. Use the 1st National Flag instead of the Battle Flag. They will never know WTH it is Rock On!!!
After attending my first Kid Rock concert this past Saturday Night at the age of 53, i must salute you Kid for putting on the most amazing show that i've seen in my many years of concert goings. Your showmanship is second to none in the business. Your caring and giving attitude towards the fans and your country was awesome. I will always be proud to be a member of your fan club!!
omg yall i found my rooster paintin..you guys think im crazy but if you ve been F,d with the way i have for the past month and a half youd be losin it too..all i know is someone told me a few weeks back that they were stealin my socks and misplacin my stuff to throw me off and ive been all over the place ever since. You guys suck..im out!
so EP does that mean all italians are mobsters? are all irish people IRA members? all japanese people triads? all germans nazis? you get the point.
In my opinion, the confederate flag IS a symbol of southern racism. Kid Rock certainly has the right to wave it around and promote his own values... but don't try to pretend like it does not offend many, many people. I personally associate it as racist based on the people I have known who are so loyal to it. So even if there are a handful of non racists, confederate flag lovin people, they become guilty by association...
ok fine and if you have him...put him in a nice place..i grew up in the almost kind of near innercity and the guy behind me had a farm in his backyard roosters, chicken, ducks, rabbits you name it..so i woke up to a rooster crowin evry damn mornin...so it means alot to me K!
alright im steppin back for a few before yall tell me i lost it or some shit..you little fuckers just wait yall lol!
who snuffed the rooster dammit..n if you have him..it needs a nicer frame..i was gonna do a tourgouise gold from Micheals...looked sweeeet..but didnt have the funds at the time..spent my wad in key west..n spent enough on Rooster to boot!
ive been lookin for ROOSTER too..thought i had him framed and in my dining room at one time..sly lilla fella..any one seen him?
In hope that you actually read this Kid, I'll make it as short and simple as I can. We are the Bourdo's. a hard-working clan from Western Michigan between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. Our cousin, Mike (Rooster) Bourdo is a true American Bad Ass. He's a second generation logger that works hard, plays hard, loves his family, spends some occasional jail time and loves Kid Rock, big time! I'm not sure there's a bigger fan. He took 26 people in a limo to your 40th birthday at Ford, 23 people in a limo to Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids and finally 20 of us, once again, in a limo to the United Center in Chicago. He paid for everything. The worst seats he bought in all 3 concerts were 6th row. The Chicago tickets alone were $465.00 a shot. He absolutely loved doing it. In Grand Rapids, he got kicked out because they said he spilled a drink on some chick and when he tried to get back in through the smoking area, they caught him and he got thrown in jail for trespassing. He didn't even get to see the show. The limo picked him up after the concert for the ride home. He's a pretty incredible guy. He doesn't like to talk about it much, but I figure he dropped $25,000 for the 3 shows. He's not overly wealthy, but he works hard and he's had a really good year in the logging business. Everyone that was lucky enough to have went to these concerts will tell you that they've never had a better time. I agree. It was once in a lifetime shit. I could of touched you in Chicago. It was beyond incredible. I have no feedback or suggestions or concerns. You're doing it better than anyone else ever has. Orangeville is our town and it's always been known to have one of the baddest ass bars in our part of the world. The Orangeville Tavern. In it's day it was legendary. It's calmed down over the years but it's a bar I'm sure you'd feel right at home in. Who knows maybe we'll see you there someday. Anyway I just wanted you to know the story of Rooster. Thanks for doing what you do so honorably.
FOREVER..from what i heard craig runs a side bussiness too so hes real busy!!
Thank you for all that you do. Your time energy and effort are greatly appreciated. I have no title like NAACP. I am just and old retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Army that has listened to you for years. You have done more than most in your position to help communities such as Detroit. For that I can't thank you enough and I live in Texas. You are an American Hero and I salute you. That flag they hate means a way of life, and is a symbol of Southern Rock and Roll. Not slavery or hatred. Keep the faith and keep flying that flag as long as you want to.
Kid, thank you.
Hi,
Just wondering how long it takes to get the KRC shirts after you renew your membership? I'm still waiting (patiently) but I renewed in January.
Much love,
Kdrklvr
My little cousin is in middle school and she has to go out and sell raffle tickets to raise money for the music program in her school. I know a lot of artists speek out on this issue, seems like no one is listening. I believe that it is at or even beyond the point of which someone needs to begin a farmaid type of situation to raise the awareness nationwide.
@northern mirror...i have the same prob here down in toledo with 94.5...its pathetic and so hyprocitical. I find though when someones a threat n people know they are the true real deal..problems like this always arise!
I'm really upset about this so I need to vent. I doubt Kid will ever read it but here goes. I am in mid michigan and am a huge kid fan. I used to be a big fan of 102.5 WIOG until recently. When kid released his new album for radio use I called back in Nov to request his new song and the DJ told me that it was a bad song it "sucked" and they wouldn't play it. But sure enough when concert time rolled around they were banking off him talking about how good he was and giving out tickets. I just recently heard kid on there doing an interview and it turned my stomach that he had no clue what a bunch of hypocrits he was talking too. Anyways I just needed to get that out there!
Rock on everyone!
To good to be true!
I knew the NAACP giving Kid Rock an award for all of his hard work was to good to be true. Some people just dont understand southern roots...don't change a thing! Take it from someone from Mi and living in NC. Rock On
