I also would like to say that I sent my ride home thinking that I would roam around the downtown area and find out where y'all were partying...yeah, bad idea. Ended up having to walk halfway home before I found a pay phone to call a cab. Damn dead cell phone. :)
I was fortunate enough to catch the Kid Rock show in Huntington, WV last week and it was amazing. The only thing that made me sad was that you didn't play "Times Like These". I am from Detroit, displaced here in WV and I get so tired of the negative thoughts and words that come out about my hometown, I was really hoping that you would play that song. I really hope that I am able to catch more Kid Rock shows in the future. You definitely put everything into your show and are a performer and entertainer second to none. Much love.
because this is the suggestion box..i suggest listening to Nirvanna Unplugged while falling asleep..love Kurt Cobain R.I.P. man..such a beautiful soul
I just wanted to say that Friday Night, I will be (AGAIN) ~rockin' my blue jeans and rosary's~ ALL NIGHT LONG! Can't wait! But, I have gotten myself into (sort of )a "pickle" with this concert. Ya see, I bought tickets thru the KRC presale for myself and a friend and then when my son heard that I was going to THREE SHOWS he got, kind of, jealous and so for Christmas I went to the Ticketmaster here in town and bought him and a friend of his tickets for the Gwinnett Arena show. (Floor seats, I might add) Well, then when I looked at the seating chart for this show I realized something.......I GAVE them THE FLOOR SEATS (sitting right in the CENTER SECTION) in front of the STAGE!!! And my seats are first level UP! on the RIGHT SIDE!!! WHAT THE HELL??? I totally SCREWED MYSELF out of the BETTER SEATS this time!!! I sat FRONT ROW in N.Charleston and now I gotta sit UP AWAY from the stage!!! what was I thinking???? I can't take the tickets back from them!! So I told him that if I saw him NOT PAYING ATTENTION, I would march myself down there and MAKE HIM SWAP SEATS with me!! He's 18 and this will be his 2nd Kid Rock show, his first was at 15 years old and I took him to The Tabernacle in Atlanta to see Kid Rock when Rock & Roll Jesus first came out. He has been a fan since he was a little snot-nosed kid that wasn't allowed to cross the street. And NOW he gets the "PRIMO" seats!!! He BETTER REMEMBER THIS!! Cuz I don't think I will do this again! I am "SACRIFICING" ALOT for him and his buddy! In fact, I MAY let him hold my sign up for Bob to see at the show which says: You're F*%kin 40! That's 1/2 way to F*%kin 80!!! See yall there!!! d.
When are new tour dates going to be listed?
The last one is already less than 2 weeks away. Read somewhere about a concert in May that is sold out, but never knew about it.
@ Russel..judas priest..really..wow you really know how to rock n have a good time man!
I am trying to help a group with a charity event supporting the veterans and need help with some contact info. My email is hoseph1387@yahoo.com any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
Kid, I'm a 45 year old father of 3 (a young marine, a married mother of 3, and a beautiful little 5 year old girl) that's been married for 23 years. I've been a fan of yours for years so I drove from the Louisville area last night after work to see you in Evansville, Indiana to hang out with an old high school friend and see your show. I drove home after the show (about an hour and a half) and got up early for work this morning.
I just wanted to let you know that it was so worth the trip! You rocked the house and I'm still kinda' jacked up from the adrenaline rush... I can't wait to see you again! Thanks for making the money I spent on the tickets and gas and the investment of my time so worthwhile. I can't tell you how impressed I was with your show for real. I've see the Stones, ACDC, Judas Priest, Kansas, and many others over the years and I really don't think I've seen a better show. You, sir, rock like a Mother Fucker and I like it...lol.
I just saw Kid Rock for the first time, Feb. 28th in Peoria, IL. All I can say is WOW~! He really sings from his soul. I was very impressed by his many talents. I have to say I have seen a lot of different bands over the years and this was probably one of the best if not the BEST concerts I've been too. He definitely is a true artist. So entertaining, I just cant ' say enough. I had a blast and cannot wait to see him again!!!!!!!
YOU ROCK DUDE
Just got tickets for the concert in Jacksonville, FL. I grew up in Madison Hghts, Mi. Moved to FL in '82. Every time I go back home my sister takes me to drive by Bob Segers house. Just to say hi. Tradition. I just love Kid Rock. Reminds me of home. My husband is a disabled veteran and he's going to the concert with me. It's very hard for him to sit in the seats for very long but he's doing it for me. Would it be possible just to meet with you and get a picture after the concert with my husband. And if not, we understand. How about a signed autograph? I'm just looking forward to hearing your musci, eh. And if you want to meet some down home people while you're in Jacksonville please feel free to stop by. This is a military town and your privacy will be close guarded.

i can see the tour dates that are posted
Why aren't the tour dates showing up on the website?
Laurie, what an awesome story. I was really blown away by that story. Its sounds like your mother in law was quite a lady.
To be honest I just joined this site to try to get decent tickets without getting bent over by the scalpers. But you know I have to say its really interesting to see how the tour unfolds as well as what some of the fans have to say from day to day.
I've never been one to follow blogs, maybe because I'm just catching on to what's new. I have to say it's pretty cool to see a rock star respond to fans and vice versa in a public forum without it being lame. We never had such a thing growing up with the groups we loved.
I'm glad I joined this site, it's opened my wife and I up to kind of a daily weekly ritual of looking to see what's going on here and wondering when Bob's gonna bring the tour to the Southern California.
Loved that story Laurie .

@Laurie: so sorry for your loss. God Bless Barb.
This is from an article in todays Peoria Journal star about my Mother in Law. Thought I would pass it on.
Only God knows why: How many 63-year-old women put a Kid Rock show on their bucket list?
Barb Alread did. And she almost made it.
For decades, the Germantown Hills woman enjoyed varied pursuits, included golf, theater and traveling. But a few years back, she caught a strange bug for Kid Rock, especially his harder rap tunes.
"She was a very classy lady," says daughter Angela Querciagrossa, 33. "But you'd get in her car, and she'd be playing Kid Rock. You had to giggle."
Last year, Alread was diagnosed with cancer. She had but one entry on her bucket list: see Kid. That chance looked grim as she grew sicker last fall.
But in November, she saw a Journal Star story announcing the Kid Rock show. She gasped loudly, making the family think she was having a medical emergency. Instead, she yipped, "Kid Rock is coming!"
Two sons (including one living in Seattle) agreed to take her. They got three tickets. Alread posted the newspaper clipping on her fridge and began counting down the days to the show.
Family and friends pledged to make concert day extra special. Her husband ordered flowers. Her bunco pals planned to stop by throughout the day. Her daughter ordered a limo.
But last week, she feel into a coma. At her bedside, her daughter put on soft Kid Rock music. The concert seemed impossible, so the goal changed: Maybe she could at least survive to her big day.
Alread died Monday, two minutes after midnight.
"She made it," her daughter says, chuckling.
Still, her kin were too broken up to use the tickets. So family friends agreed to represent her.
"I raised a drink in her honor," says Angie Agatucci, 33. "I know she fought as hard as she could."
Agatucci lost her composure when Kid Rock did "All Summer Long."
"The part where he sang, 'Man, I'd like to see that girl again' - that had me in tears," Agatucci says. "Barb would have loved it."
I've been to every Detroit show from way back at the State Theater to Ford Field at 40. Never disappoints me and is worth every penny I pay for the tickets!
Went to show in Evansville last night!! I am in awe at how much energy you put into each show continually, night after night! Once again, NEVER been to a better show!! Lovin you!!
Went to the show Saturday night in Chicago, it was fantastic! You are a true entertainer. I wore my new "Cowboy Baby" tank top that I bought from this site and it fit great and looked HOT! My husband is turning 40 in April, where can I get a copy of Fucking Forty to play at his party?!?!
hey kid,if you add any tour dates to this tour pleaseeeeeeeee think about doing another show at the borgota casino in new jersey.that was one of the best times i had.
@RSMS It's probably safe to just assume that he thinks we're all crazy. Anyone reading this site would pretty much come to that conclusion!!
*grin*
