There's no reason to work for the man in this wonderful country of ours. Just met with my husbands , now my business partner to go over the details of the new company . He and my spouse ave been working on patents for sometime and he's has quite a few and other ventures and seeing how he has some free time now we decided upon our venture of passive income bringing in about 15 g a day to start. I'm gonna be busy doing the marketing portion since I have all the contacts until it gets going and off the ground and then well, fishing, writing a few songs.
There is ticket insurance when you order your tickets its like 7 dollars you should be concerned if kd rock is alright being on the road n this awful weather where is the love
the majority of people will attend, its only a few that wont be attending. the same thing happened elsewhere, and the majority got to see a kick ass show.
Dear Kid,
I lead an organization. Doing the right thing is often hard, but it is vital to maintain the respect of your team and organization. Without a doubt, tonight is not the right thing for the LR concert. Yes, maybe in other parts of the country this snow storm would be more of a minor inconvenience. Not in Little Rock, Arkansas and not in any southern city. Many people have sacrificed to buy tickets for your concert and there is no way they can make it. The few people present would certainly have understood if the concert had been re-scheduled to benefit the masses. They would have been inconvenienced, but everyone would have come out "okay". Under the current plan, only the few people pesent and your organization benefits. But please remember, short term benefits always backfire when you do people wrong. Many people will not feel the same about you unless they receive compensation for their worthless tickets. Do the right thing, it always pays off.
Saw your show in Columbus AMAZING. You were right in front of me you just keep getting hotter. My only suggestion more girly merchandise. Good luck w the rest of your shows and hope you are coming back to Ohio but this time at Blossom Music Center this summer.
The issue about the LR show and the weather is not just about disappointed ticket holders who can't safely get to the arena -- what about all the ticket-takers, ushers, security, concession stand workers, etc. that have to get there when every media outlet, police, and everybody else is telling folks to stay off the roads and streets, that it is not safe to drive -- Verizon Arena keeps pointing the finger at Kid Rock and his management, saying that they just rent the hall and it is up to the show to make the call -- Kid Rock doesn't hire the folks who work the arena....regardless of whose call it is, a lot of disappointed folks are out $$ for tickets to a show that they have no hopes of being able to get to safely, and that $$ is going in the pockets of those who could've made the better call and done the right thing
Where can I find the lyrics to Midwest Falls? thank you.
Drove 6 hours to Bossier City to see you for the first time. You were amazing!
And, PLEASE, former fan(s) DON'T COME BACK! The "evil empire" will go on without you -- obviously.
most of you sound like greedy lil whiners to me. if he can make the show you whiners can. your not fans lol
Shame on you!
Weather's so bad in Little Rock that the police have asked folks to stay off the roads.
YET you decide you MUST hold your concert - ignoring the fact that you'll either be putting fans' lives at risk OR making them lose their ticket price if they value their lives.
Hoping your career tanks since you obviously don't give a flip about your fans.
Kid, I want to thank you for an AMAZING show last night in Shreveport! My friend met you in the casino. Sure hate that I missed that. Be safe traveling in this weather and God Bless.
I am devastated that Im missing the concert tonight because of the snow in Little Rock. I bought 2 tickets from fan club and 2 more through Verizon Arena. I have cried all day knowing the show is going on but Im not there to see it. I have to come home to my children and risking my life and the life of others to get there just isnt happening. I pray that his fan club members are given a refund or given the chance to make another concert, like Memphis. Im very sadden about it all.
Trusting management to make it right for those required to risk life/limb to work the concert and those not able to travel there as the highway department is saying: ALL AR highway travel is dangerous and don't get out...his management is wise enough to to know this is a venue not prepared for this kind of weather and certainly they will do their best to make it right.
Hey Big whiners in Little Rock -- surprise -- Kid Rock, TBT, and his crew have been IN this blizzard for weeks now!! And guess what, no show has ever been canceled by him and thousands of fans show up, despite the conditions. I've gone to two shows this year; both were below freezing and I traveled thousands of miles to go.
Do you think he might have a contractual obligation to show up?! Hopefully he never tours again in the winter. His son, his family, his friends and his fans don't want him out in these conditions, and can't helped but be worried for him and his crew!! For those of you that call him greedy -- Fuck You!! Go away, he can obviously go on without you!
Curious? Do your tickets say "rain or shine"?! Which of course means rain, shine, ice, snow, hail . . . Know what you're buying you dumb fucks! Stay home, stay warm, stay safe. And, while you're at it, send out a prayer -- you selfish bastards!! One last thing -- SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!
I am a teacher that can't take off, not due to money issues, because a future generation depends on my consistency and teaching to be prepared for tomorrow and next year. I live in the rock so I didn't have to plan ahead as far as location, but I still can't get there. The road is full of cars in the ditch and I won't be next. Unfortantely I will be borrowing and burning all future music... as I will not support this. Sucks after a decade of listening and loving it.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
I know it was probably a big decision to have the show or reschedule...for the ones who are already there and living in the Little Rock area...it is no big deal...but for all of us who are a few hours away and can't make it due to the horrible road conditions and spent our hard earned money it seems like someone should do something to make it right since this is beyond our control....I love Kid Rock and I have seen him in concert 7 times....but I was bringing two single mom's who have never seen him live and I feel more for them than myself for spending that kind of money with no refund and even more not being able to see him!
It isn't Kid Rocks fault but all ppl involved should make the right decision. Including those that live in the Little Rock area and those fortunate enough to have the money to stay in a hotel for several days to be able to use the tickets that they bought. And maybe it's just the way I was raised (right and responsible for myself and others) but even if I was living right next door to Verizon Arena I would be the first to say that=when EVERYONE and EVERYTHING is considered the only RIGHT thing to do is to postpone and reschedule. But hey that's just me................I still believe in the American way (taking care of each other) that is quickly going to the wayside in favor of self absorption that is so popular these days.
I agree with Kid Rick about it not being KidRock's fault but we cant all take off of work & make plans ahead for the weather! I will not make it! I would have 2 drive 2 hours to get there on dry roads. Today it would prolly take me 4 hours! My friends & I was really looking forward to goin and are very disappointed about not getting to go! I dont think it is all Kid Rock's fault! I think Kid Rock, Verizon Arena, & Ticketmaster should work together & either reimburse the people that cant make it or reschedule the show! We dont control the weather and I really wanted to go but I AM NOT gonna risk my life to get there! Kid Rock may be from Michigan & used to this kind of weather but he ought to take into consideration that this is AR & we dont get this kind of weather very often!
Fans that have bought tickets can't use them. Weather has made road conditions and travel dangerous throughout the state. It is irresponsible to take the money and run when there is no way most of the ticket holders can safely get to the event. Verizon Arena has shrugged it off, saying it is up to Kid Rock and his management team to make the decision. It's time to announce that the show is canceled, and reschedule/refund. Otherwise, Kid, you come off looking like a greedy a**hole who doesn't care about the fans and their safety.
I agree with Kimberly- I love Kid and respect him. He's got heart for the working man. We did the night before thing and are in hotel for maybe a lot longer than we want to be! We live six hours away and planned ahead, took off work and I realize that not everyone is as fortune as we are, but it's not Kid's fault.
Rock on!
Remember, He is playing in NASHVILLE , and MEMPHIS.. next time, plan on getting up there night before if it is gonna snow.
For some, I am suprised you didn't plan on coming up night before and stay in a hotel.
mary,
No he doesn't SUCK! I am sure he will do something for the fans that cannot make it. Fuck! Give him a break.
Glad show is not caancelled. i am sure Bob will do something for the ones that cannot make it. He is gonna be in Memphis and Nashville, think about that!
This is an unfortunate turn of events for everyone involved. Kid is going to disappoint someone no matter what decision he makes. He's here so do the concert. I have faith that he will do something to make this up to fans who cannot get here. Look at all the kind-hearted things he's done for many people. I don't think he would let anyone down now. People are posting crazy things without all the facts here. The only facts we have are that the show is on and refunds are apparently not being giving. Shame on Ticketmaster!
RESCHEDULE!! I wanna see you but I cant get there!!
i hear screaming on the left yelling on the right sitting in the middle trying to live out my life hell yeahhhhhhhhhhhh
Kid Rock!! Come on man! We are your fans, obviously since we spent hard earned money for tickets, please reschedule another show. Most of your fans will be coming from outside of town and the roads and interstates are closed! People's lives are way more important than a dollar. PLEASE RESCHEDULE!!!!
Can't believe what you are doing. Reschedule the concert! You know these people paid a lot of money to see you and you're willing to just take their money and run. I have $400.00 in tickets and no possible way to get there. Hope you enjoy spending my money, it's the last money of mine that you will ever get your hands on!
