Kid Rock is a scalper.
The 42-year-old Grammy winner, who is launching a summer tour where most tickets are priced at $20, said he's scalping about 1,000 tickets from each show to make up for the cheaper regular price.
"I'm in the scalping business, but you know what? We told everyone.
B.T.W. I live on a STATE HIGHWAY and we have yet to see a snowplow or any other state vehicles on our road.
As a fan and a mother I am a bit disappointed in the events of the concert in Little Rock AR tonight. As a massive snow storm dumps snow across our state we learn that the concert will go on and no refunds will be given to those of us who chose safety over music. I realize that it takes a great amount of money to put such a concert on and for the musician to get himself, his people, and all his gear here. But I also realize without the fans that musician would not be doing the concert in the first place. I bought tickets for my 16 yr. old son as a Christmas present. The present was an stretch for me as I have been off work now for almost a year due to medical conditions. My son is a huge fan-but because I choose his safety and mine as well as others on the road I wonder just how happy and fuzzy those involved in the concert and those able to make it because they live in Little Rock area are going to feel in the morning when the news of a fan or some fans have died trying to get to this show hits the 8 am news programs? Yes, we all took a risk when we bought these tickets..........but this snow storm is once in a lifetime(we hope). So come tonight at & pm me and mine will be using our heads and be tucked in safe and warm 3 hrs from the Verizon arena. But in the future no money of mine will be used to help out an entertainer or venue that is as irresponsible as Verizon and Kid Rock. Enjoy the show and pray your loved ones aren't planning your funeral come morning.
PLEASE! PLEASE RESCHEDULE! There is a Declared State of Emergency and fans are expected to travel in to the show?! We spent a lot of money on are tickets and have been so looking forward to this show. I understand the logistical nightmare it may be to reschedule, but do the right thing for the fans. Imagine if people traveling to your concert were hurt/stranded or even worse. Very real possibility. We love your music and want to see you, but it just is not possible to get there.
Not happy that the consideration of the fans was not taken into account when deciding to proceed with the Little Rock concert. Very disappointing!
it is kid rock's decision. all he has to do is say I WON"T PLAY
kid rock sucks. its all about the almighty dollar. forget the safety of others
Please reschedule for us that can't make it. I don't have 4 wheel drive. I don't want to risk my life or risk leaving my two boys alone. Do the right thing please!
Please, please reschedule!!! My girlfriends and I saved our money and made big plans for a girl's night out! We were so excited about going to see you. Unfortunately, we live outside of Little Rock and have about 10 inches of show and absolutely cannot make it because of wrecks close to us on the interstate!!! Honestly, I know it would be a sacrifice on your part, but think about your fans!?! I spent $65 just for my one ticket!! That's money that I could have used for something else, but chose not to!! Please reschedule!!!!!!
I FEEL BAD FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T MAKE IT THIS TIME. WE FEEL FORTUNATE TO BE ACROSS FROM THE ARENA AND CAN MAKE IT ALONG WITH LOTS OF OTHERS. THERE WILL BE OTHER TIMES & I'M SURE KID WILL MAKE IT RIGHT. IF HE PLAYS TONIGHT HE WILL DO THE RIGHT THING AND IF HE SCHEDULES A RETURN VISIT, HE WILL ALSO BE DOING THE RIGHT THING. KID HAS A HEART AND I'M SURE HE IS NOT THE ONE TO BLAME FOR THE DECISION, MUCH LESS THE WEATHER. I'M NOT SPEAKING FOR KID ROCK, BUT LETS ALL REMEMBER WHY WE LOVE HIM, HE'S THE BEST ENTERTAINER AND GIVES ALOT OF BENEFIT CONCERTS TO THESE TYPE SITUATIONS. I'M SURE HE WILL END UP MAKING IT RIGHT IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
Hey Ive been patient like since 2005 cleansing breath I would like some tasteful creative Kidrock Earrings or necklaces not something that looks like ya got it out of a gumball machine. FINELY crafted jewelry that will have EYES on it...UGH that felt good to get that monkey off my back...can't find anyone to do this? hire me and my daughter it would be a splendid summer project and would KEEp me out of mischief...signed the ONE and Only * no matter what anyone else says PKL.
I am extremely disappointed in the decision not to cancel the Little Rock concert tonight at Verizon Arena. I understand a show must go on but what about the fans and their safety. I purchased tickets the day they went on sale for my husband for Christmas we are so bummed, the interstate is closed going into Little Rock, and Ticketmaster will not refund. Unhappy Fan!
Been a fan since the beginning! Been to all of your concerts you've had in Little Rock! This is ridiculous that you are not rescheduling or cancelling the show. Are you really that money hungry? Are you really wanting people to risk their lives for you? I hope you see the impact you have made on Arkansas when you are playing to an empty arena tonight and future concerts!
I bought my family these tickets as one of their "big" Christmas presents. We live 2 hrs away & the weather is not gonna permit us to come to your concert. Me & my children are heartbroken. Please, please, please reschedule so we dont lose our money & we will still get to come to your concert on a rescheduled date. We really were excited about getting to see you in concert. Please dont dissappoint us. Thanks, The Fryer Family
I work for the arena and I'm losing money by not going to work tonight because of the weather and I won't risk my life for you or any one that plays there. but I think you should think about the fans that put you where you are today. It must be nice to line your pockets on their money and they don't even kiss with the screwing they are getting. I hope my co-workers and the fans that do try to get there are safe and they are able to get home safe. There has already been a fatalty in driving, want the next one on shoulders by not cancelling and rescheduling tonight. guess you sleep good at night no matter what. As for me I'll be worring about my co-workers.
Please reschedule! @Kid Rick - How would you suppose we "plan" for this? Some of us have jobs (at banks that don't close in the snow) and can't leave until after work. So, how do you suppose I leave now since the interstates are closed and we have over 18" of snow? Oh, and yeah, I requested off two months ago for this date, but unfortunately we're short staffed and I couldn't take off. So, yeah, I'm a loyal fan and I understand this isn't Kid's calling, but I can say that I'm upset that the decision makers don't think of "everyone".
Suggestion: If you won't cancel tonight, schedule ANOTHER concert in LR and honor tickets of your SANE Arkansas fanz. The eight of us who were coming from over an hour away, would rather live to see many more concerts in the future!
WHAT ABOUT THE MANY FANS THAT DROVE A LONG WAY STAYING IN TOWN FOR THE SHOW TONIGHT. PLEASE DONT CANCEL AND RUIN IT FOR FOLKS WHO ARE HERE READY FOR THE SHOW!
Kid Rock, I'm so happy that you are in little rock. I love your music and would be happy to come see you tonight but due to the weather me and lots of other people are not going to be able to make it. I feel like if you cared about us fans you wouldn't put our lives in danger to try to make it to see you. The show should be cancelled, rescheduled or money should be gave back. Some of us have to long of a drive to try to make it. Find it in your heart to take care of us as we do you. Thanks
PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL TONIGHT IN THE ROCK! WE BROUGHT OUR KIDS A LONG WAY FOR THEM TO SEE YOU. WE HAVE SEEN YOU MANY TIMES AND WANT TO SHARE THE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. tHEY WILL BE HEART BROKEN AS WE CAN'T WAIT TILL MEMPHIS. FOLKS SHOULD HAVE PLANNED FOR THIS IF THEY REALLY WANTED TO SEE YOU.
Kid Rock has lost fan relations and his way He had something to say a while back ago but got lost in his hurting heart and soul hope he finds his way deep inside of himself and with his fans again they long for his music that only he can bring to the table
What the Fuck Cletus? You can't reschedule your jam due to the weather. Some of us (yes your mother fuckin' bread winners) could not drive six hours in the blinding snow to get there! I guess I just figured a good ol' country boy like you wouldn't pull that shit....hummm guess I was wrong...
Come on kid rock!!! We have stuck by you. Guess what every says about you is true. Your being greedy and a insensitive a$$!!!!! Thanks for ruining my Childs bday.
Arkansas State police have advised that everyone stay off the roads due to dangerous conditions. Please take this into consideration and RESCHEDULE or CANCEL the Little Rock concert!!
Reschedule or Cancel Little rock show!!! theres no way we can make it due to interstates being closed...we are not used to snow storms and are in a state of emergency! think of your fans!!!!
I am having a real hard time believing that the Little Rock concert has not been cancelled or rescheduled. I, my friends and family are huge Kid Rock fans. We purchased 13 floor seats (11th row) during the presale event. I cannot believe that Kid Rock would allow his fans to take life threatening risks just to go to a concert. At present there is a confirmed fatality wreck on I-40, 33 jack knived 18 wheelers
wow due down there so sux about the snowstorm it must be bad in ar .. hell ar roads are bad enough fukin driven normal damn thats a serious problem i near bout died i couldnt imagin with all that snow driven
hope it clears up for yall.... ya can bet id be findin carpoolin with the biggest 4 wheel drive i got the beer and petro we chancin it.. im neither there nor anywhere near snow ... god luck yea
chm sounds like thats a positive thing for kids that have no example to follow well oppurtunities .. and ya think the systems gonna help hell no cause if they all grew up right they be outta a fukin career sad situation.. but good job.. hope ya get the help yall need..
I was recently in attendance at the 40th Birthday concert in Detroit and was very impressed with the promotion of the local charities. Kudos for getting the whole crowd aware of so many organizations that do great work. While I volunteer for several charities myself, I think one notable Detroit organization was missed, COVENANT HOUSE OF MICHIGAN (CHM).
CHM is a faith-based nonprofit organization that provides hope to homeless, runaway and at-risk youth ages 13-22. They provide shelter, educational and vocational programs, as well as other support services, to help overcome hurdles such as homelessness, unemployment, inadequate education, violence, drugs and gangs. The goal is to redirect them onto a path toward meaningful and successful adulthood.
While some may consider Covenant House a national organization because of it's representation in other US cities, donations to CHM stay local in the Detroit area. Please consider including them in your list of charities in the future. For more information you may visit their website at http://www.covenanthousemi.org or you may contact me directly.
I am a huge Kid Rock fan and even more so after this last show. Keep up the great work and Go Detroit!

As a displaced Michigander, I would also ask that you reschedule the concert tonight. As someone who was born in MI and lived in various areas there, including Marquette, I know that a little snow is nothing to you and your band. However, central AR. is an area that gets very few snowstorms. This area not only has problems keeping the roads clear at a time like this, but the drivers are not used to driving on snowy roads. No one was looking forward to the concert tonight any more than I was, but I would like to see you come back at a much safer time for all. And, by the way, thank you for what you do for the Detroit area!!
I just joined your site today. I've never been to a show so I cannot give suggestions on that topic. However, I wanted to tell you that your songs are the BEST for my workouts in the gym. They are inspiring and I am to the point where Rock n Roll Jesus is a must for my running in the morning. It's the song that allows the workout to take off. Just saying thank you - no suggestions yet.
Please re-schedule your concert, not cancel, in Little Rock tonight! I've waited for years and finally have the ticket to see you and can't get there. I have the scanner on and there are semi's blocking the roads all over the county. Please just re-schedule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
