yes i met kiss, but i didnt pay either. i used to work at tiger stadium as a camera operator, and met them at the 96 reunion show. but i frequent their site too, and i see the pacckages they sell

ndm's picture

have you seen KISS, because i have and i never paid that much for my meet and greet pass...

videoace001's picture

i have too, but never paid to do it. ive been fortunate because im a videographer. so ive met a lot of celebrities. im also a musician, and ill do meet and greets for free lol

ndm's picture

its the memorbable picture you also get, yes i have been on many meet and greets actually and thats why i suggested it......I have met many artist...some id see again, some i wouldnt.. but you only live life once so thats how i see it.. and nooo, if i really like the artist i wouldnt be disappointed.. like i said i have met many artist . but thats just me.

videoace001's picture

ever been on a meet and greet ndm? they say hi, you take a picture, and they shoo you away for the next group of people to do the same. kiss charges anywahere from $1000-$1,800 to do that. wouldnt you be disappointed if you paid that much just to say hi, get a picture then pushed to the side? i would

TRATRA

I dont have it bad at all for him.. I was speaking out in gerneal as i would for any artist that dont do meet and greets.. nothing against any musician, but if it werent for the fans buying their music they wouldnt be RICH. my only thing is what would it hurt to have meet and greets? seriously!!! sure its one decision.. and if he dont thats fine and if he never does, thats fine. but i see many people ask about it and i think if he isnt going to consider it or even do it, perhaps he can write a nice statement and let us know why.. NO he dont owe his fans a explanation at all but it would really be nice to know why he dont do them ANYMORE..thats alll,,,,,,,infact i wouldnt even say id buy one but the fact of the matter is the chance for people do meet him would really up him in the SKY more than he is now.. kid rock is a great artist in many ways.. i have no problem goin to his concert and not meeting him, but hey, just curious as to why he stopped the meet n greets. people /fans like to meet them. regsardless of its kid rock to bret michaels, to rick springfield, to motely crue, to bob jovi.. reba mcentire , sheryl crow, etc etc etc..

Nothing but love coming your way. My daughter - when she was 3 was in Nursery School and on Mothers day they made planters with flowers in them. Mine came home and it had a note that said "I love my mommy because she pushes me on the swings at the park" -- so I brought it back to school the next day and said - "Yeah - I think I got the wrong planter cause I never do this" and the teacher said - actually your daughter said " I love my mom cause we listen to Rock n Roll Jesus in the car on the way to school" and I thought that was inappropriate...so I changed it!!! WTF??? Love my daughter hate that teach.

Long story short ... my husband and I from NJ and we've been HUGE John Eddie fans since the early 90s. And as our daughter grew up she became a fan as well. She's been to several of his shows, met him, taken pictures, etc. She's 7 years old now. We're also huge fans of yours. She absolutely loves you! She knows (not all) but a lot of your songs, she imitates you. When she heard on the radio a few months ago that you were coming to North Charleston she went nuts. When we told her we were going to buy tickets she about went through the roof, she was so excited. And then she heard my husband and I talking about you and John Eddie. She got this look on her face and said "They know each other" and we said yes and explained about the songs LowLife and 40. She thought that was the coolest thing ... her 2 favorite singers are friends.

So anyway, we got her a Kid Rock t-shirt to wear to the show on Feb 16th and she is ready to go. Today she told me that when we get to the coliseum she's going to go find you. I asked her how she would do that and she said she'll just go downstairs and walk around til she finds you. (She knows the ins & outs of the coliseum because we go to hockey games there) So I asked, what will you do if you find him. And she said she would hug you and kiss you and ask for your autograph. She was so funny and cool telling me this. Being a parent I would do ANYTHING to make my daughter happy. That's why I'm writing. Do you think there is any possible way what-so-ever for her to meet you on the 16th? Nothing fancy. If she could just say hello and take a picture, that would be so amazing, and I know she would be thrilled. -- Gina (AvasMommyin2003@aol.com)

Wishing for Michigan's picture

I can't say I have been listening to you as long as some. I grew up in Michigan and am just a few months younger than you. However while you were making a name for yourself I was off doing the "college" thing in another state for a few years. I have to say that when my husband and I saw you on the Grammy's in 2000 we were hooked. My husband does not like musicians who can not play an instrument and you blew him away. I've always enjoyed a variety of music and that performance had me looking for your cd's. With a busy life with kids and a family I haven't always been able to follow your career. I picked up Rock 'N Roll Jesus when it came out and I played it so much I had to purchase a 2nd CD. I looked forward to the release of Born Free hoping I would love it as much as Rock 'N Roll Jesus. I don't know if love is a strong enough emotion to describe how I feel about it. While I have seen posts from fans who don't like the change in direction I don't think they get it. When I listen to it I can hear someone speaking from their heart things that have been on my mind the last few years. Getting older, memories of loved ones no longer with us, the pride you have for the state of Michigan. We are temporary transplanted in Indiana but we can't wait to get home. You sing about the land my husband and I grew up in and I can see and smell the trees and lakes when I close my eyes. The video for Born Free has me completely homesick. I wouldn't want your music to sound the way it did 10 or 20 years ago. You are older, I'm older, our views on life aren't the same as they were when we were 20. I saw the promo for Born Free on CMT and when you didn't know who 3Oh3 is I had to laugh .. I had the same question when my 15 year old son mentioned them. Made me not feel so old when you didn't know who they were!

We will be at the Louisville concert Friday night. With your love and our love for Michigan we'll be in the audience in Red Wings and Tigers gear!

Your show in Dayton Ohio was probably the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. It made my whole year. I was so very lucky to go because I have protective parents and I am only fifteen, so my mom waited in the car for me for about 5 hours because she knows how much I love you. The first concert I went to of yours, she made me take my Sunday school teacher. She probably thought that I wouldn't want to go with her there, but I didn't care. You put on the best show ever, and I cannot wait to see another one. Hopefully I can meet you in the future!

You have to stop being so amazing! I am so obsessed with you. All I think of is you. I will say it..I am a Kid Rockaholic. :) Comment: Love the new album, loved the concert in GR, love everything you do. You are so hot too!! On a personal note: I think you need a normal girl from Michigan and that is ME! hehe I just think you are so down to earth and I just love that you like to have fun. Of course, you are an amazing performer and super talented. Keep doing what you are doing. I hope to meet you on the Cruise. I just love you so much. For the Cruise: I think there should be a tattoo person there. So, if you sign me..I can get it tattooed. :) Hey-you asked. :) Oh, and I just love your voice, i could listen to you talk all day long. :)

Hey- i was able to see the wichita ks show and was thrilled! However I was wondering if you would consider adding a show in Omaha NE. My reasoning is this: I would like to see a full show with the entire band and for those who had tickets but could not make the trip due to the weather- I think would buy tickets(again) just for the chance to see the show and Omaha would prob be a location folks could easily make it to...Thanks :) Love you Kid Rock and band..Really enjoyed the hell out of Ty Stone!

KR&TBT Photo Booth at all UR shows. Then we can sit & take a picture w/ALL for a small fee. KR&TBT's photo is the staple background & there's a blank spot for us fans to show up in the shot with U. :)

In regards to the KR Cruise, last year U took a photo with everyone who boarded the boat, please make sure that remains. Everyone still has those photos all over the place, especially FB. BIG REQUEST HERE, please add in The Twisted Brown Trucker Band. This way each one of us that board the boat gets a photo with U all. It is the MOST IMPOSSIBLE photo to obtain and would be a ToTally Awesome keep~sake for us fans. :)

I love your new cd, especially your duet with Sheryl Crow. It's great whenever you two get together, you're like our modern day George and Tammy and Conway and Loretta. I hope to hear more in the future.

Hey Kid, just wanted to say I've connected with your music off and on in life but did so deeply with Born Free! While I've struggled with a addiction problem for 3 years I am working real hard at for a while and succeeding. With the song Born Free I realized the freedom we in the USA have cannot be taken for granted as I did for such a long time. The freedom to wake up every day and truly live, explore this great land, the wonder of this land and nature. This song was a tipping point for me to regain my passions in life fishing, hunting, seeing this beutiful country, but more than that the freedom to live my life to the fullest! Some of the greatest days of my life were spent just watching the sun rise over the water or seeing the stars pop out at night. We were given such a gift to be born in this great country its time for me to just live life again. Thank you so much for just having such a passion for what your life is and giving some of that to everyone, you never now how you can inspire life in someone else! Thanks again and don't ever quit. Time to live again fastcast1@aol.com

You should really -REALLY- tour in germany again :-)
In Oberhausen or Dortmund!
Would love to see you back here (especially with Jamey!!!)

The only thing I would change about the Merch: I would love more Woman´s clothing in the shop and those not in pink or purple ;-) Not every girl likes that ;-)
And jewelry like a necklace saying "Kid Rock" or "Cowboy" would be great!
...more country style clothes :-)

TerryB24's picture

I think clothing items should come in 2xl and 3xl. Not eveyone is a size large.

well here goes it, I am new to the kid rock website, never seen him in concert ever.. i been to many other artists and i find kid rocks to be ALOT different ,.. kid rock we all know your at the top of the world right now with your music and giivng great shows to everyone. how i know? well i watch what i can on u tube..i know not the best seat in the house right? lol... well since im waiting for you to announce more concerts , just wondering WHEN that will be.. i live in washington state and i generally have to fly to see a concert which i dont mind to a band i love to see.. however, most bands or should i say all that ive seen in the past have meet and greet packages, isnt there anyway you would reconsider and put out meet and greet packages to meet you?...seriously.. but still keep it at a resonable price... for example, rick springfield meet n greets are 299....bret michaels have varied, from 300 or 600 plus you got things along with those type of packages, then when he wasnt doin that, he always has a meet and greet and sells so many tickets at EACH show, for 200 bucks..i can mention many more , but you really rockn the world and it would really mean im sure a lot to fans to add meet n greets to your concerts.. however i still love ur music and i hear u put on a great show and still will come see you some where im just waiting for u to announce more dates.. cuz i have to save up money.. i know this is gonna sound bad, but im not trying to throw anyone under the bus., ive seen bret michaels 7 times, met him as well, wonderful man,. and i am a HUGE FAN OF HIS. however, ive never seen you perform and i am saving my money to come see YOU perform, and believe me all my friends give me hell cuz they tell me im throwin bret michaels under the bus, which I AM NOT. i wish u safe travels through out your tour.. people say its not all about meeting the artist, well true, but we fans still like to have that chance to do so and ENJOY the concert.
