From Tom Keifer and They performed this Song :-)
It was a TOTAL Religious Experience----I felt like I was in an Innercity Church on a Sunday Morning :-) God--SOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!!!! :-)
So I went looking for live performances of the Song---and came across the Joe Cocker version---PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO---
Sometimes it's hard to be a woman
Giving all your love to just one man
You'll have bad times
And he'll have good times
Doin things that you don't understand
But if you love him
You'll forgive him
Even though he's hard to understand
And if you love him
Oh, be proud of him
Cause after all he's just a man
Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
when nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
ever wants to take your essentials and just check out on your current life. Pack your bags, get in the car, spin the bottle and ever look back? Some days i just want to do that. Take me and my cat and just take off to somewhere better then here.
I swear some days the ppl in my life are incessant about being assholes to me and then wonder why i want to leave for good. Just get a map out or google someplace and go there. Find a job, find a decent place to live and check out of my current life.
Perhaps i may be a bit crazy...but perhaps i might be the most sane person you know?
Have I missed it? there is a pearl jam channel, a margaritaville channel, where's Kid's channel?
wouldnt it be great? to hear kid unedited, acoustic jam sessions with other artists, commentary, etc.?

bein from the midwest n all.. im hopin' that warm weather days go beyond the tour ...
... just a lil wishful thinkin, for all of us who have to live in these parts!! : )
Of course, their would definately be no complaints on my end if yall kept touring through the next cold weather season..esp if you stayed, somewhat, in our neck of the woods ; ) ..sure would help for all of us with keepin the cold weather days just a lil bit nicer n warmer!
at KRLO
dont the Pistons suck pretty much every year?..n yes a bad boys' day comeback would be a NICE welcome to the D..agreed! n speakin of a bad boys comeback..ny one heard how Charlie Sheen did the other night at the FOX lol..heard it wasnt too good...wha whaaaa..lol
@krcval I think everything has to do with negotiations. The Davidson's own the PIstons, Palace, DTE, and Meadowbrook, Karen Davidson is negotiating the best price for everything, not just the Pistons. And I don't blame her for one minute. Even though the Pistons suck this year, she shouldn't have to sell low.
KRCVAL, I hope when and if Tom Gores buys the Pistons, DTE, Meadowbrook and whatever else Bill Davidson owned that he changes DTE back to Pine Knob and brings the Pistons back to the Bad Boy days.
You got that right, DTE would be a perfect ending for the tour. Seen him @ joe louis, ford field, [his 40th birthday bash] the dow center, and several times at pine knob,[ opps its dte now] but thats the best venue by far...
I was being proactive last week cause I want to plan my summer vacation's and want to be home for the Detroit shows.
This is how things look cross referencing Kid's tour schedule, The Tiger's home games, events booked at DTE and The Palace.
No Comerica Shows. Anytime time the Tiger's are away, he is booked somewhere else.
Ford Field is a possibility, let's hope not. But I do like going downtown, espcially in the summer.
DTE and the Palace have some dates open in Aug.
I am scarred tix are going to be hard to get with Sheryl on Tour.
Pine Knob (DTE), Meadowbrook, and the Palace have been voted the highest grossing venues in the nation for many years. Michigan may be in a recession, but damn we love our music. I saw the very first concert there in '71 David Cassidy, and the very last concert there before they changed the name to pfft DTE.
Maybe the special surprise for his hometown fans is coming to Pine Knob AND Comerica....HA probaly not, but whatever. Just hoping he brings it home. Saw him last summer at Pine Knob and every summer before that when he's played there. No better venue!
He ends a lot of his summer tours at DTE. It's one of the best outdoor venues in the country. Great sound and loads of fun. If anybody wants to see a great show who's from another state. DTE is definitely "the" place to see him play.
He called the Knob (DTE) his "intimate" venue last year. It really is a great place for concerts...not a bad seat in the house and the lawn is so much fun, too. Have soooo many memories of concerts from years passed...
I think 5 shows at Pine Knob (DTE) would be the perfect ending for this tour. I"ve been to Comerica and Ford Field, too many people and the sound isn't as great, It's a lot more of a family reunion atmosphere. A Kid Rock family reunion!
I think it would be great if the tour ended @ DTE but by the time the tour does end it wold be kinda cold out but it would be great .i hope he does do a show in Michigan or at DTE sometime before it gets cold .well just comment on this subject .later all
Would love to see a return to Detroit this summer. I've never been to the DTE before, but I heard it's a great venue! Comerica Park would be pretty cool too!
@theroxy- I sure hope the hell not! I went to the Comerica concert & didn't like such a huge venue, I know I'm probably in the minority about this...I'm hoping for a 3 day weekend at Pine Knob.

@KRLO, yess! What's taking Tom G. so long? I heard there was a holdup? (sorry, off topic, but kinda related)

@ Video, you may be right, I was thinking Sept.?
@KRLO, It will always be Pine Knob to me, also...
i think this tour will go beyond warm weather days
Amen!!!!!

Zeke, Fox would be great but the Fox will need from today until August to get the Charlie Sheen stink out of it!
Karen, Pine Knob is the best, but I am a tad biased because I live 5 minutes away, We have easy in and easy out.
Would love to see a return to Detroit this summer. I've never been to the DTE before, but I heard it's a great venue! Comerica Park would be pretty cool too!
4 NIGHTS AT THE FOX THEATER (DETROIT)
LIVE TRUCKER II
The D is a dangorous place...It's full of lions and tigers
Tigs don't have any games at home, the first week of August
Kidstock 2011! Rock downtown in the D during the summer. What a great idea!!
I was at Comerica and just loved IT
I hear ya about the knob smaller venue
If I was a gambling girl I would put my money on Comerica.
Im sure they will be a announcement soon
@theroxy- I sure hope the hell not! I went to the Comerica concert & didn't like such a huge venue, I know I'm probably in the minority about this...I'm hoping for a 3 day weekend at Pine Knob.
I bet Its a show @ Comerica
An article in the Oakland Press said he has something special planned for his hometown this summer, but no details are available yet.
There are dates open in August that is when he usually does DTE
I wouldn't miss it!
